Hello scholars, can I defer my admission to fall of 2025 and still travel with the same F1 visa issued this year? |
Hello everyone, I have an upcoming interview and I have a financial deficit. My sponsor's bank account currently has a balance that is slightly higher than the deficit. However, this amount is not his annual earnings, which are actually much higher than the balance. Now my question is, should I mention a figure that is above the amount in his account when singing the 'praises'😅 about his annual earnings, or should I stick to his current balance to be on the safe side in case the V.O demands to see the statement? |
Thank you Sir, I appreciate alot. OyoTunjiUSA: |
Hello guys, I'm stocked at this stage on my DS1-60 form. I'm just wondering if I should include my high school information, or just that of my University. Can someone please kindly help me clarify? |
Thank you very much. Lawal1555: |

Hello guys, I received a tuition waiver and stipend from my school for my M.A., but I still have a deficit of about $7k. I have few questions about this situation, and I would appreciate it if you could clarify them for me. While filling the DS1-60 form, how should I answer the question about "WHO WILL BE SPONSORING YOUR TRIP TO THE US?" should I select employer in the US or the person covering my deficit? Secondly, are there specific requirements for the photo I should upload on my DS-160 portal? Lastly, I have heard that it's not advisable to submit the DS1-60 form until I've gotten a visa appointment. Does it mean I don't need to pay for the SEVIS fee and visa fee before the visa appointment search? Please, I would require an honest and prompt response to these questions, as I'm new to this process and would need to get everything right. |
Hi all. Please I just got an offer for my M.A. My prospective supervisor and program coordinator asked me to wait till month end to know the amount of funding, Scholarship, and stipend they could offer. Now my question is, if there is a funding deficit after the award, would the University accept an SOA from a sponsor in the UK to issue my I-20, since that is where my sponsor lives? Secondly, will this same foreign SOA be a red flag at the American embassy in Nigeria during visa interview? |
Please I would appreciate any help with reviewing my SOP, it's just two pages 🙏 |
GboyegaD:I've written to them but no replies yet. |

Please, I have a meeting Meeting with a Professor on Tuesday at 9:30 AM EDT. What is the corresponding time in Nigeria, so that I don't miss my schedule. I'm not finding a clear answer online 😏 |
Please guys I need an honest answer. My school website have been down for like a month now and my Recommenders can't even acess their institutional mail. They confirmed it has been happening and they often send with their personal email ( gmail, yahoo etc). Note, no one knows how soon this will end. Now my question is, if they write with their personal email will it affect my chances of being admitted and being considered for funding too? Remember, they are always ready to defend when being contacted. |

Please my people, I have been following this thread for a while now and I will appreciate if someone will give me a detailed answer to my questions. I'm a graduate of History And International Studies with a CGPA of 3.98/4.00 and I'm currently undergoing my compulsory one year Nysc! How possible will it be for me to obtain either partial or full funding on MA programs related to my course? Considering that my course isn't among the STEM, how possible will it be for me to obtain a good job with the post study visa? |
Win Win for people weh get BA for History! |

If you're a Nigerian Trained Nurse and you couldn't pass IELTS to japaa, there is problem for you. They are the least paid in the health sector in Nigeria and as well overworked. That's why you see most of them being aggressive in the Hospital... Though I admire their work, it's indeed service to humanity. |

Maybe the husband needs enough space to talk and chat with his side chick at night... Lol |
Hello House, Please I have an enquiry to make and I would be needing a guru to give me a detailed answer to it. I'm a graduate of History And International Studies with a 2.1 and I'm less than 25years. Considering the bad economy of the nation and how saturated the labour market is, looking for job has never been on my agenda. I have considered traveling to the western world to further my education and as well stay back to hustle if possible upon my graduation but the tuition fees I've been seeing are outrageous which is they are out of my reach! I considered South Korea because the Universities are relatively cheaper pertaining to what I heard and have read but the problem now is my course isn't among STEM. Now the question is Can I get a masters program with my BA? Even if it's not a Masters program would you advice me to go for an undergraduate program? Which course and which school can you suggest. Are there students jobs in South Korea? What are the chances of staying back upon completion of the program? And lastly what is the possibility of one on student visa to visit China for business i.e buying of goods from China to ship them back to Nigeria for profit. Note: the budget is 3m |

Op stop disturbing us o, English isn't your mother tongue and so can never be a yardstick to determine Intelligence, you yourself cannot even pass IELTS comfortablly without constant practice |
Not really But During my days at Forcardo High school, one careless Lecturer after taking our second semester year one exam have the guts to tell us that he misplaced our scripts. I mean in a class consisting more that 204 students. Though we later retake the exam in our finals I didn't find it easy retaking year one course o though the man was not punished due to he was highly placed in the society and a university senate member as well. This was my worst ordeal as a student |
Invest in Chemist as the money isn't enough for the European japa process. But the problem is that you aren't a Pharmacist, Pharmaceutical Council will be on your neck trying to feast on your capital. Lol, your location matters sha |
