Please manas, has anyone here treated staph infection in pregnancy before? I've been on treatment for the past two weeks or so, was given erythymocin(not sure of the spelling). I've taken everything now but not sure it's OK. Does the drug or the infection have any effect on the baby? Anyone with similar experience? Please I need help seriously.......thanks mamas!

@madampinkolo, I can feel you on this one . When your in laws have shown you their attitude at the initial stage nobody will tell you whether to run to them or run to God in the case of any eventuality, you will know surely that there's no one to run to but God.

So sorry for posting it late. On Friday being the 14th day of Nov, i woke up with little abdominal pain that was on & off. I kept myself bizzy through out the whole day, then by 9pm the contraction became steady, i went to the hospital the midwife checked me & said I'm 4cm dilated. I went out & start walking around till 11:55pm when my water broke, i was checked again & she said my baby was still far. When the pain became unbearable, i started shouting & begging God to help me, when i couldn't bear the pain any longer, i jumped from the bed & started running around the whole place, when i got tired i went back to my bed, she checked again & said madam you can now push & after several pushes my cute prince came out around 5am weighing 5kg.

no vex dear but on second thought don't they have female doctors cuz I would feel same if a male doc is poking me like that when its not time for delivery. At that time I no say na me go dey beg dem make dem come poke lol

my dear I went with the believe that I would meet a female Dr o but on getting there I was told the female Dr was on night duty so there was no way I could go & come back. Initially he said he said he would ask the nurse to do that,suddenly he came back to say he would do it himself.Chai!

@mgeey, I was also given fralomin when I was about same weeks you mentioned, I was having body pains,headache & all that. That was how I also googled it then o until I finally mustered courage to take it o. Don't worry, u'll be fine. I'm past 20wks & we're fine. It is well with us all

Good day all the lovely mamas in the house. I woke up this morning & felt some water dripping down my thigh so when I cleaned it up it was creamy & had one smell like that. I assumed probably it was an infection but decided to go to the hospital,on a second thought, I felt it was my water dripping. On getting there, after the poking Dr said it was nothing serious,just womanly discharge but took a sample & said he was going to run a test on it that I have to come back in 2 days to collect the result.

My annoyance is that I hate this poking thing especially from a male Dr, the thing has been vexing me since I left the hospital. I only prepare myself for that when I know labour has started, not now . I just dey vex

I cnt contain my joy as I jst got my very first BFP on sunday after 2yrs 8mnth of marriage right nw I'm sooooooo filled with excitment I'm in my 6th week well no morning sickness 4 now bt I eat like say no b my bele d food dey enter I also sleep a lot and my bosoms wheeeww! No go area vry swollen and aches + abdominal cramps hope its normal.

In my 18thweek, by now I thought I'm free from this vomitting stuff o but na lie. I was brushing this morning though it wasn't long that I finished eating & before I knew it the whole thing just came out & since then i I've been feeling sick. Could this be indigestion or overfeeding. . I'm tired of this vomitting o

Thanks dear. The catarrh dey do me strong thing o to the extent that i've been having body pains since yesterday, all my joints if full of pains, i took paracetamol this morning to see how far before i know what next to do. I fear lime o.

Catarrh is dealing with me since yesterday, went to but vit c yesternite but don't know if the vit c has increased the thing,I'm not myself again
