goldendiamond: For all those sending emails about business name registration.its a wise move as having a CAC certificate has several benefits(few are listed below):
1. it validates your business
2. it will boost your business proposals
3. it may be required in sourcing loans
4. it will help u in attracting biz partners
5. it is required in opening a current account in your biz name
6. it will help u in getting investors
7. it gives your biz a legal identity

visit the nearest CAC office and pay N200 for "availability form". pay N250 for a "green file folder". fill the form, attach your passport photo and submit then go back after two weeks.if your business name is approved, pay the sum of N4000, submit the green file folder and ask the officers when to come for your certificate. if you fail to pay within 60 days your biz name will be cancelled & if your name is rejected, you will have to repeat the process.however as simple as this process may seem, most biz names get rejected because of one major factor
Good job u're doing here.Just a slight correction. The fees to getting a business name have been changed a long time ago.I registered a business name Jan 2103 and I realized that the N250 for availability form is N500 and business reg is N10K though I paid more just to make it easier for me.

Pls does my hormonal profile result has anything to do with this? Or is there something hidden that I do not know? Pls I really need help... Thanks
How many cycles till date have u been having light periods? Of course the light periods experienced are caused primarily by hormonal factors.
Please let's have the range of values that came alongside this hormonal result u posted above so that we can help accordingly.

This evening a friend working in the above named bank informed me of
vacancies available in the Kaduna branches.

I kept having the nudge to post it here and help a few.

Here are the requirements
1. B.sc with 2.1 in any field of study
2. Must not be older than 25 years.
3. Must have completed NYSC

Pls forward ur cvs to my mail infogenius3 at gEEmail dot comE
The reason I am doing this is

1.I will have to be sure of what i will be sending to his mail.

2.He will be shocked if he receives too many mails in that box as he gave
me his mail address. And I think it is in house

I am not asking for money and I will not ask in any way.

So if you fit in
Why not give it a try.

tHANK YOU.
Family › Re: 5 Behaviours That Can Make Your Neighbours Respect You by infogenius(m): 7:12am On Jul 04, 2014
In addition to what the op & others have said I will add a few.

1. Be tolerant, do not go about complaining about this or that.Do not be the nagging type.

2. To the single ladies, do not go around sleeping with your caretaker in ur flat or any of your
neighbour's husbands.Make sure you do not bring into ur flat different male friends or else
u'll not only be an object of gossip or reprissal attack, you will quickly loose respect and
every man in the neighbourhood will be after ur pants if you are fine girl.
If u no fine, then.....You can even be a victim of area molestation (not the one u think
but verbal.)

3. Do not hang around idle with ur neighbours. If u have nothing to do at home, take a stroll
or go to church.

4. DON'T LET YOUR NEIGHBOURS KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH.This is important or else you may
be a victim of compound gangup and periodic case study or subject of gossip. You can include this also, never
share SECRETS with anyone of them no matter how close you are.

5. Be nice but do it sensibly, do not over do it.Lest these creeps take advantage of you.

6. NEVER enter ur neighbours flats at will or on impulse. So that they will not reciprocate. If u keep to ur flat no
one will come knocking on ur door ealy Saturday morning for yeye chat or say I wan watch film or programme.
Be modest and mind ur business.

7. Make sure you have money & u're working or else u no go get voice for ya compound.

8. More importantly, Do not live beggarly.Abeeeg!
More to come.
Education › Re: Just Finished Marking WAEC. I Cry For Our Future. by infogenius(m): 7:58pm On Jul 01, 2014
ferdimako: But who wants to teach? Even those with certs in education did so because of enrollment issues. The society is rotten already. U marry a wife with fake degree and u think she is there for the kids?
People who never did their exams on their own...just after yr1 ....aristo or cultism to graduation. U can't help ur child with an assignment... u don't have that knack...u don't know it.
Lol, remember my earlier comment, parents that are not visionary will have problem making their children do well at school.
My friend, if my children get to secondary school and one decides to study in the arts. I am science based,
I will read his books and get more info about his subjects to make him have that extra edge.
I will do this no matter my tight scheduled.
My Dad did it, I will do it also!

The teacher will never know more about my child than I.
But since the society are depending on teachers, even if the best teachers are recruited
the parents have the role to ensure that their children read and study their course work!

ferdimako: When a teacher can build a house and go on vacations...then that sector must have been lucrative. Here in Nigeria, we pay less for lesser tuition. How much is one semester in GH, US, CA and OZ? Govt is corrupt so as we...eg if Lagos govt hires good hands from other tribes to teach in Lagos...Yorubas will possibly be annoyed and would prefer fake teachers of Yoruba descent and funnily expect good results. It was hard to get my brother a slot in 2006 but he graduated among d best 3...where were d indigenes that populated d admission list?
I no fit laff, yeah the system looks poor, but what shall we do. Instead of complaining
do the best you can do and leave the rest.

ferdimako: Parents that abandoned school...never worked hard to pass exams on their own? You are different. Kudos! I was there for my brother, taught him English and Maths..he did the other four himself..he never did May/June...Nov/Dec after SS2. Once he cleared his papers, parents and people started begging me and him to do the exams for their children. The same problem is in the university. Many students beg and pay to have their courses sorted out.

We need to overhaul our systems and improve on the common language of teaching.
Ok, accepted, maybe quite a number of so called parents were truants and possibly abandoned school
but that does not take away the fact that the greater time these children spend is at home
and in some cases especially weekends they spend with us.
If a parent is not visionary, then their children have a long long way to go.

I am not against overhauling the teaching systems or methods or whatever,
the teachers spends approximately 2hrs on the average with these children daily.

If the teacher is really concerned about these kids then he /she may as well help
develop them. But if she/he is not concerned, then forget it no matter the overhauling
nothing happens.

These teachers have their own families with challenges and problems staring
at them at their faces, how many will give these stubborn kids attention.

How many teachers pray for their students these days?

All these things na the parents go fit do am well.If dey no do am
society go dey rotten more and more.
Education › Re: Just Finished Marking WAEC. I Cry For Our Future. by infogenius(m): 8:26am On Jul 01, 2014
It is so easy to put blames on the Govt of Nigeria, teachers, corruption blah blah blah.

We quickly forget that this nation is made up of individuals that come from families.
Education should have really improved in Nigeria as there are better enabling environment
today than before.

But honestly, the woes of these students boils down to their parents.
How many parents follow their wards academic work?
How many parents spend time to help their wards with school work.

I owe my cognitive abilities to my parents.
My mathematical prowess to my Dad, even as a banker in ever busy Lagos, the man made
sure that he went through my school work and inculcated thoroughness in my studies.
No teacher will ever do that.
I still use my brains to solve mathematical problems that requires the use of calculators.

My mum though didn't go through the 4 walls of a University but she inculcated the
essential memory work in my life and ability to use figures. Tell me your date of birth today and in the
next ten yrs I will send u a birthday gift on that day.
That was the job of my mum. And she did it perfectly.

This generation is suffering because we have lazy parents that is why we have lazy children.
Lesson teachers are paid to do all even to bleep their children.

I was talking to a set of teens sometime ago and I asked them, how many spend at least four hours
reading for Jamb and WAEC, the four hours to them was like"how is this possible?"
None and I mean one of the about 70 teens ever thought of reading overnight talk less of spending
4hrs reading.

My friends, parents do not only have work hard to earn good money to give their children qualitative education
but must able to directly impact children with abilities that make their wards stand out academically .

My boy will be 2yrs next August, but honestly, what that boy knows or can do children in Pri 1 cannot,
i am not bragging, I know exactly what I am saying. Out of my busy schedule, I still sit with the boy
to teach and impact him whether it is convenient for me or not.

Parents should do their work and compliment the teachers to make their wards better.

No govt will help ur children do well at school, the teacher will do the little they can but parents will
the greater part of the work.
Education › Re: What Was The Worst Punishment Ever Given To You In School? by infogenius(m): 12:50pm On Jun 30, 2014
The worst ever punishment given to me in FGC Maiduguri we call "shoot maitaisaine"
Here is how it looks like

You pivot on an elbow (either ur right or left depending on which is convenient for u)
and support with your toes.
Then ur free takes a sniper's shooting position.
This position takes ur body off the ground while in lying state.

O boy man fit hang like that for 30mins or more depending on the senior that is punishing u
the time u spend shooting is directly proportional to the level of wickedness the senior possess.

A bloody punishment administered on stony surfaces.

Anoda one is angle 90

You simply sit in the air supported by ur legs.

Anoda is "fill the bucket"
A bucket of small water is given to u fill with mosquitoes
while under a double bunk bed. This one na die.

Just funny how one survived through it all.
