South African police have arrested a woman who tried to sell a baby on the Internet for 5,000 rand ($380) .The 20-year-old woman was arrested during an undercover operation following a tip-off from a member of the public that a baby was being sold on the website Gumtree. Her initial advert was immediately red-flagged by Gumtree, and removed straight away.The woman then created a second advert, with the sale disguised under the heading: “baby car seat” in the Baby and Kids sale section.

Pietermaritzburg police spokesperson Constable Mthokozisi Ngobese said a female officer was tasked to contact the mother on Saturday and set up the deal.

According to News24, while police in casual clothing kept watch, the mother met two undercover officers on the top floor of a KFC building.The officers bought ice cream for the mother and began negotiation.

The mother explained that she was selling her child because his father would not offer any financial support, leaving her unable to raise the boy.
Police handed over R5 000 in duplicated notes to the mother as she said her final goodbyes to the child.Police pounced as she exited the building, money and ice cream in hand.

When the social worker exited with the toddler in her arms, the boy had a slow stream of tears on his face.It is unclear whether the boy will be placed in the care of the department or returned to family members.

Trouble started when he converted to the Christian faith contrary to the wishes of his father, and other relatives. “I received written threats saying I could only run but could not hide, which I took to the Police and they told me they would do something about it, but nothing was done. If they had done something about it, I wouldn’t have received the second note that said I could only run but could not hide.”
“I was born in Maiduguri, Borno State, but my father was from Oyo State while my mother was born in Abuja. Both of them had been living in Maiduguri before I and my siblings were born. My father is a Muslim, and I was born into a Muslim home. I am into buying and selling of animal skins, a business I started after my National Diploma (ND) education at The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 2007/2008, and I have so many people working under me.
“In 2012, I lost my mum to illness, and towards the end of that year, I converted from Islam to Christianity. My father and all other Muslims around the neighborhood who knew my father were not happy with my conversion, because my father is one of the leaders of the Islamic group, Nasru lahi fathi (NASFAT) branch in Maiduguri.

Popular Nigerian blogger, Chris Kehinde Nwandu popularly known as CKN, who is being illegally detained in Ikoyi maximum prisons for republishing a purportedly libellous story is very sick after being denied bail three times, his wife said in a heartbreaking message on Friday.
The blogger, who did not murder anyone, is accused of being an accomplice to defamation under the Cybercrime Act for posting a story on his wall written by a blogger accusing the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank of infidelity.He has been in detention since last week and has reportedly been denied bail three times.
“Why is he being denied bail? In whose interest is it that he remains in detention ad infinitum? Something is seriously wrong here. We should not keep quiet on this,” asked Nigerian journalist Nnamdi Okosieme.
Here’s his wife account of his ordeal below as posted by Mr. Okosieme on Facebook.
“My husband’s right to bail and due process of the law is being abused by the Police at FSU. He has a right to face his accusers in the court and defend himself from the allegations. He appeared three times before the honorable Judge Muhammad Yunusa; each time he was denied bail without reasons. He is being charged with “accomplice to defamation” because he reposted a story of alleged affairs and infidelity involving the MD of Fidelity Bank of Nigeria. Yesterday was the third time my husband’s bail application was postponed.
My husband is now very sick at the Ikoyi prison due to the unhealthy and inhuman condition of the prison. His life is continuously under threat and harassment in prison. I am pleading to Nigeria’s Human Rights organizations, the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Union of Journalists, the National Human Rights Commission and Nigerians and world leaders and media organizations to help me seek bail for my husband. Military authorities in Rivers State have given a one-week ultimatum to eight communities in Emohua Local Government Area of the state to fish out and surrender the gunmen, who allegedly ambushed and shot dead a soldier and police officer, while they were on duty along the Emohua-Kalabari Road in the area.Niger Delta Voice gathered that the incident occurred last week, and both the army and police in the state were furious. A trustworthy source hinted that the new Brigade Commander in charge of Rumuokoro Army Barracks in Port Harcourt stormed Emohua with three vehicles, fully loaded with fierce-looking military men and drove straight to the palace of the paramount ruler of Emohua Kingdom, HRM, Eze V.C. Okor.

The source said:
“During the visit, the brigade commander gave the eight communities of Emohua one-week ultimatum to produce the killers of the officers, otherwise the communities will face the wrath of the command.”

At the time of this report, a number of residents had fled the kingdom. The trepidation is what will happen to them if they remain in the area after the one-week ultimatum expired and the communities were unable to surrender anybody to the security agencies as the killers, having declined knowledge of the gunmen. The Emohua monarch distan-ced the communities from the killers, but condemned the act.

What Brigade Commander told me—Monarch

The royal father said that the brigade commander in charge of Rumuokoro Army Barracks in Port Harcourt visited his palace on Monday and told him that the army discovered corpses of two security personnel, along Emohua-Kalabari Road.The monarch called on the government to promptly intervene in the matter and ensure that justice was no breakdown of law and order.
The monarch told Niger Delta Voice:

“When the commander left, I called for a meeting. The visit was shocking to me. So I passed on the message that the commander brought. “In the meeting, we appointed three people to go to the Rumuokoro Barracks to see and pacify the commander not to wage war against us in their investigation.“We have not had problems with any security operative and we do not groom gunmen here. So there is no way the community should be robed into such crime.”

First son of the monarch, who is the Nyewe Eli Emohua, Prince Chigozie Okor, confirmed that the people were alarmed at the approach of the military to the matter, saying it was wrong for the army to have concluded that the killers of the security personnel were from Emohua simply because the unpleasant incident happened in the area.
He said:

“We do not understand the reason why the soldiers will walked straight into our community to demand that we provide the gunmen who killed two of their men.

“The road where the officers were killed is a major route to three other local government areas in the state, namely Degema, Asari-Toru and Akuku-Toru, why should they point finger at Emohua? “They should carry out investigation on the killing and bring the perpetrators to justice; they should not involve civilians, who do not have what it takes to carry out such task.”

Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Rumuji Police Divisional Headquarters, who spoke to Niger Delta Voice on phone, said:

“The issue was not officially reported to us. “I have visited Emohua community. We discussed and they have appointed people to see the commander. We are in touch with the two parties to ensure peace.”

Meet the Nigerian women who blackmail & turn innocent girls to sex slaves in DubaiLast week, the a man on facebook accused a woman called Esther Nicole Otubo(above) of trafficking girls to Dubai,but recording them naked as a means of blackmailing them if they fail to pay up .

Her cover was blown after she released a video of one of the girls, Precious online..In 2014, Precious, completed her university education and the National Youth Service Corps programme in Edo State. Precious, as she identified herself while nude in a video, decided to seek better opportunity outside Nigeria. Precious convinced her parents to finance her desire to travel. Her mother had no option than to support her by processing the needed travel documents to her dreamland.

On August 28, 2014, the naïve, young and pretty lady was ordered to stand naked in front of a camera by one of the most notorious Nigerian sex slave and human traffickers in Dubai, Esther Nicole Otubo. The video recordings of this innocent girl were to blackmail her and other girls under her “PROSTITUTION BUSINESS EMPIRE” in case they refused to pay their daily dividends to her. Precious hopelessly agreed to Otubo’s terms of engagement, as captured in the video transcript:
Esther Nicole: What’s your name?
Precious: Precious.
Esther Nicole: Precious, which part of Nigeria are you from?
Precious: Edo State
Esther Nicole: Okay. Where are you right now?
Precious: Dubai.
Esther Nicole: Dubai? What did you come to do here?

Esther Nicole: You agreed on your own to come here. Did you go for swearing (sic)?
Precious: Yes.
Esther Nicole: Who and you (sic) went for the swearing?
Precious: Me and my parents
Esther Nicole: You and who?
Precious: Me and my mother (sic)
Esther Nicole: Okay …so you just arrived in Dubai, yeah?
Precious: Yes
Esther Nicole: What’s today’s date?
Precious: August 28, 2014.
Esther Nicole: So this is to show that this is what you came to do here and you are going to abide by the rules in this house. Do you agree?
Precious: Yes ma.
Esther Nicole: And when you are done paying your money, everything here would be deleted, but if you go against the laws in this house, this would be published and sent to your family. Do you agree?
Precious: Yes ma.
Esther Nicole: Okay. Thank you very much.

Emeka Ugwuonye, an attorney, is representing Precious. Ugwuonye, through his advocacy group, Due Process Advocates, is in the lead to hunt and prosecute these Nigerian ‘Dubai Madams’ who are involved in the sex slavery and human trafficking of young naïve Nigerian women desperately but innocently seeking to better their lives.

He told me,
“Jebose, I have videos of two different girls recorded under the most debasing conditions, naked and scared. What Nicole does is to videotape these girls in the nude and blackmail them into prostitution in Dubai. This woman is like none that you have come across before. She is a ‘Madam’ and a human trafficker. She takes desperate young Nigerian girls on a sex slave mission to Dubai or other Middle Eastern countries for prostitution. Before they leave Nigeria, she would first make the girls and their parents swear an oath at a local shrine in the belief that such would place a curse of sudden death on those girls were they to disobey her. The total amount she plans to get from each girl is about $30,000.

This Madam uses blackmail as an additional means of enforcing her plan. She would take a video recording of each girl, who would have been made to stand stark naked. She would tell each girl that if she failed to pay her $30,000 when she gets to Dubai or elsewhere, she would release the video tape on Facebook and would delete it when she eventually gets paid.
“These girls apparently agree to this. I use the word “apparently” on purpose to raise questions about the voluntariness of these girls’ participation in this. Ostensibly, some of these girls have not paid the Madam all the money she demanded of them. That must have been what led Madam to release that video on Facebook. I have seen videos of three girls in such humiliation. People forwarded them to me in order for me to use DPA to help track down the woman that is behind all this.
“There are many, many Nigerian girls suffering under her control. These girls lack the ability to cry out. They are in slavery and bondage. We must set them free and we must have the ‘Madam’ arrested.”
Ugwuonye also identified a second ‘Madam’ in this Dubai commercial sex deal gone bad.

Madam Ann lodges her girls in a three-star hotel while she would stay at home and offer them men in exchange for cash. After each girl must have slept with four or five men, Madam Ann would come and collect the money they would have made from them.
“The hotels cannot be busted by the Dubai Police. These Madams change hotels like every two days to remain undetected. Any girl that stays in the hotel for more than four days would be expected to leave because of the slow sex seekers’ traffic. The hotel’s members of staff may not know what is going on. So if there are steady traffic of clients in the hotel and to a particular room, after two days, the hotel would notice and ask the girls to leave. The only things they take to the hotels are sexy lingerie to entice customers.”

There seems to be a silent beef brewing between Bovi and AY ...Bovi shared a video from 8 years ago and while I didn't understand the caption at first,reading through the comments, it was clear the caption was in reaction to AY's skit promoting his event.
In Bovi's version told 8 years ago, Bovi narrated that, a security man had to headbutt his boss's daughter because the boss had earlier told him to use his head to prevent the daughter from going out ...

In AY's version, he tells his security man to use his head in a bid to top his girlfriend from visiting him during his date with another.When the security man asks how to prevent her from gaining entry, AY says "Use your head"When the girl comes,the security man headbutts her ..

Bovi's fans agreed the skit was a rip off of Bovi's intellectual property.And others argue that , though comedians borrow jokes,using it as a skit is another thing entirely..
