Progressives Congress’s group in the United Kingdom has told music artist David Adeleke (Davido) that he is “inexperienced to dabble” into the issues surrounding the Osun state gubernatorial rerun.

The runoff election takes place today in Osun state between the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress.

Davido, whose uncle Ademola Adeleke is the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, has speculated that the ruling party has plans to rig the Thursday gubernatorial rerun in the state.

The younger Adeleke claimed the total numbers of voters at the seven polling boot that the rerun will be taking place differs from the numbers Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) declared.


Davido’s calculations show a total of 2686 voters while INEC declared the number of voters to be 3498.

He, therefore, speculated that “APC Already planning to Rig 2moro’s Rerun! Enough is Enough man !!”

The music artist further insisted that “APC is ready to do ANYTHING AND I MEAN ANYTHING TO STAY IN POWER AND SUFFER THE OSUN PPLE FOR ANOTHER 4 YEARS! PLS SHARE!”

The APC group, in response to Davido’s allegations, warned the music artist to desist from mingling in the politics and urged Nigerians not to be misinformed by Davido’s allegations.

“Please IGNORE the #FakeNews below from the political novice,” the group said.

The group opined that Davido is “uninformed” and “too inexperienced to dabble into such issues,”

They affirmed that “The issue at hand is way above and beyond his ‘pay grade”

"We Will Continue To Kill" - Cultists Tells Akwa Ibom State Government (Photos/Video)

Cultists in Akwa Ibom state have released a video in which they asked to be empowered financially else they will continue to carry arms and terrorize the community.

This happened after the state Governor Udom Emmanuel signed into force the Cultism and other Violent Behaviour Prohibition Order 2018. Subsequently, members of a dreaded cult group known as Islands surrendered their weapons to the authorities while denouncing their cult membership.

But another cult group released a video where they refused to lay down their weapons and called on the state governor to settle them as is being done in other states. 

In the video, the men, who were masked, said they have been crying and suffering and that’s why they decided to carry arms.

They urged president Muhammdu Buhari, Governor Udom, and lawmakers to settle them financially or else they would continue killing people including parents and children because they have no joy. They added that they need freedom because they do not enjoy killing. But if the government does not give them peace, there would be no peace in the state.

Yesterday, there was a viral report that the Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, ordered the arrest of her Aide de Camp on an accusation of fraud.

Aisha has now released an official statement, denying the claims that she ordered the arrest, saying that she ‘has no hand in his arrest and detention.’

Ekoh Noel who posed as Nollywood actor Mike Ezuruonye and used his name to scam people on social media have been convicted and sentenced to one year in prison by the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) made the announcement on twitter saying:
“Ekoh Noel, who impersonated ace Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye on Facebook to fraudulently obtain N12.4million from his victim has been sentenced to one year in prison by Justice P.I. Ajoku of a Fed High Court, Benin, Edo State.”

And Mike Ezuruonye through a message on Twitter, commended the commission, for nabbing the culprit. The EFCC posted the tweet

You just won ‘Best New Actress 2018 (Yoruba) at the City People Magazine Awards that held last Saturday. What’s the feeling like, in view of having been in the industry for just two years?

I feel great. It is by the grace of God and hard work. I joined the industry in 2016 but started professionally in 2017, after my NYSC in Benin in 2016. I started with modelling when I was in the university but didn’t go professional until my service year in Edo State.
What spurred your interest in acting?

Honestly, acting was never in my plans; as a child, I wanted to be an air hostess or a newscaster. Acting happened by chance for me. During my NYSC I got an information about a movie audition, the director was casting for a lead role in a movie. I decided to audition for the role, it was an online audition, so, I sent different videos to the email that was attached to the message that I got. Eventually, I got selected to play the role, the movie was titled ‘Agbede Meji’ (crossroad) by Yomi Fabiyi.

I acted alongside Gabriel Afolayan. After the production of the movie, I went back to Benin to complete my service year. The movie, however, got a lot of good reviews and that got me so many acting opportunities.

Thief caught as he caresses a sleeping woman after breaking into her home to steal her phone (photos)

A suspected phone thief was caught while trying to escape after caressing a woman he stole from as she slept in her room.

The alleged thief, identified as Edah Julius Lucky, is reported to have snuck into the woman’s house along Yoruba road extension, Sapele, Delta State.
The woman was asleep at the time and he found his way into her room where he stole her phone. He then proceeded to begin caressing the sleeping woman.

According to the lady, she felt someone caressing her legs and woke to see Julius. He fled immediately she screamed but before he could go far he was caught by neighbours. Julius was beaten until he defecated on himself.

Some people on Facebook who claim to know the said thief are saying he is mentally unstable, this claim is yet to be verified.

Adeleke Sat For Its Exams In 1981, Scored F9 In English, Didn't Write The Rest Of His Papers - WAEC

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has confirmed that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the governorship election scheduled to hold on Saturday in Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, sat for its examination in 1981.

The apex exam body confirmed Adeleke’s participation in an affidavit deposed on Wednesday before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Bwari, Abuja.

It is understood that in the results attached to the documents filed by WAEC, Adeleke was listed as number 149 out of the 221 candidates that sat for the May/June 1981 examinations of the Council at Ede Muslim High School in Ede, Osun State.

The results showed that he sat for only English Language in which he had F9.

He did not sit for other registered subjects which included Mathematics, Literature in English, Islamic Knowledge, Economics and Biology and Geography.

The judge had earlier directed WAEC to produce Adeleke’s results in a ruling on an ex parte application by two plaintiffs, Mr. Wahab Raheem and Mr. Adam Habeeb.

Justice Musa had in the ruling specifically ordered the examination body to produce in court the ledger containing results of Ademola and his mates with whom he sat for the examinations.

A dead man was dressed like a king, complete with a crown, and sat on a throne at his wake keeping and the creepy photos are going viral.

In the photos shared online, the dead man was dressed in all red and a golden crown was placed on his head. He sat on a gold throne in a red background, surrounded by red roses.

He was given pride of place at the front of the hall while family members and friends went up one after the other to sit beside him and say their tributes to him.

Dressing dead people and propping them up to look alive at their wake is fast becoming a trend. Only two months ago, a dead teenager was dressed and propped up to look like he was playing a video game at his lying in state.

Oyo state government on Tuesday shut down the business premises of Obasanjo Farms, located in Oluyole Industrial Estate, Ibadan.
The enforcement order was executed by the state’s inter-ministerial enforcement unit being coordinated by the Board of Internal Revenue.

Other companies affected by the order included Black Horse, Heinemann Educational Books, Lister Flour Mills, Evans Brother, Butterfield bakery, Chicken Republic, MRS oil and Rasmed Publicity.

Chairman of the board, Bicci Alli, told journalists that the order became necessary after the failure of the companies to comply with the state tax laws’ directives despite being served reminders on several occasions.

Stressing that the enforcement will be continuous, he warned all corporate organizations in the state to do the needful and be corporately responsible in line with the laws of the land.

Talented actor Mike Ezuruonye in an exclusive interview with PULSE disclosed how scammed people have threatened to kill him because fraudsters have persistently used his name and photos to scam them locally and internationally.

“This has brought tears to me, so much embarrassment. I have even abroad before and someone has held my shirt and said “After talking to you yesterday, after doing everything for you, I sent 25 computers to your foundation, I sent money to you and now you come into this country, don’t tell me you are trying to sneak into this country.

“It’s so so sad, I have gotten death threats from people, I have gotten husbands of these people, boyfriends of these people, maybe because of the way I deal with it you know, that’s another thing. I have been so used to get money from people. The EFCC in Benin have been so helpful, I mean, it is really really bad. I have seen five people caught. There was a time it was so much the Inspector General of Police’s office got my account investigated, I was invited to the IGP’s office in Abuja, it was that bad.

“I saw two boys walk in caught! I was expecting to see some very big boys but there were two little boys. All I could is why? Why this? Why are you doing? Even though I tried to plead, the police said no no, it is Nigeria verse them, it is their case. There was an unrepentant one that kept doing this and kept being warned. It was even that bad, they caught one, he ran away, they even went to catch his father and from what I hear, the father is still there with them,” he said..

He further made a public plea and gave clues on how to identify a scammer.

“If you see anyone trying to communicate with you online, it is not me. Do you know what surprises me, they have devised means, they could use this video right now, crop this video, get my voice out of the way, superimpose theirs put into IMO or Whatsapp to deceive their victims. All am saying is if you see these fake videos, tell that video to stand up, touch his ears, touch his eyes, touch his ears, you will see that it all pre-recorded and the lips don’t sync.

A lot of celebrities apart from myself, this has been going on and on and I have been warning people for over two years.

An Ikeja High court sitting in Lagos State on Monday, sentenced two former gang members of billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans to 41 years in prison.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo sentenced the convicts, 32-year-old Kelvin Emenike Ukoh and Emeka Obasi, 33 over the abduction of one Ugoje Jude, a shipping agent, and his staff, Miss Piriye Gogo on August 3, 2012.

The convicts were arraigned in 2013 alongside three others: Uche Igbani, 28, Chibuzor Osuagwu, 33 and a 36-year-old woman, Onowu Ngozi, on a 14 count-charge bothering on conspiracy, kidnapping, armed robbery and murder.

The gang had kidnapped Ugoje and another staff, Piriye Gogo who were taken to an unknown destination by their leader, Evans.
Narrating her ordeal before the court, Miss Gogo said that the three men accosted them with rifles on their way home and that she was almost raped inside the car, but was saved by her monthly menstrual period.

While being led in evidence before the court, Gogo disclosed that during the abduction, one of the kidnappers, Obasi, came into the car, after dragging her boss out for negotiation at an undisclosed location, and started handling with her breast.


Gogo said, “He came into the car, tore my clothes, pulled down a side of my bra and began caressing my breast. He thereafter started dragging down my shirt and I began begging him. I begged him until I had nothing else I could plead with.

I begged him intensely for mercy and even told him that I was menstruating.

A man who stole a mattress in Uganda was immediately “arrested” by a snake and had to surrender himself and the stolen item.

The thief stole a brand new mattress this morning in Kyenjojo district in the Western Region of Uganda. But before he could flee with the stolen item a snake attacked him and wrapped itself around his neck.

Desperate to get help, he cried out, thereby alerting people.
A native doctor has been called and efforts are being made to remove the snake from the man’s neck.

The Minister of Transportation and Director general of the Buhari campaign organization, Rotimi Amaechi has said Nigerians will enjoy 24 hours power supply if President Buhari is re-elected in 2019. Amaechi disclosed this during an interactive session with the media in Abuja on Tuesday, September 11th.

A Pastor identified as Peter Ononuju, has been arrested and paraded by the Anti-Fraud Unit of the Force Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department (FCIID), Alagbon Close, Lagos over N118 million fraud.

The Pastor was paraded alongside a fake soldier who swindled a wine importer of N100million. Okechukwu Ogbonna on the other hand allegedly duped a widow of N18million in a land scam at Ibeju-Lekki.

It was gathered that the wine importer identified as Mr Obinna Francis was swindled of N100million, while he was trying to recover N77million paid to a supplier who failed to deliver the goods. After all attempts to arrest the supplier failed, Okechukwu Ogbonna who identified himself as a Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army offered to assist him with the recovery and also get him registered with big companies but ended up making various monetary demands until the victim could bear it no more.


The widow who fell victim to Okechukwu’s fraud plot also told newsmen;
“It’s just so difficult to run to people for help in Nigeria. If a 58-year-old man who is old enough to be my father can defraud me, I don’t know if there’s any hope for Nigeria.”

“He has children. He has a wife; he has a community, and he’s a Knight in the Catholic Church – St Timothy Parish, at Ojodu-Berger. And, he can defraud people, even his parishioners.”

Nollywood actress, Lilian Afegbai angers her fan after she declared her ‘real age’ on Instagram.

She made this known by posting one of her adorable photos online in which she reveals she’s 26yrs. This is after Lilian won the award for Best Indigenous Language Movies or TV Series – Igbo.

After winning the award, she felt the need to reintroduce herself to her fans.

She wrote;
“Let me re-introduce myself.
I am Lilian Afegbai,
I am 26 years old,
I am an actor and a producer,
I am an AMVCA winner,
I Pray and I slay,
Center stage is where I’m at,
World domination is where I’m headed”.

But one of her fans was quick to blast her and called her a liar, saying the actress is actually 30 years old, because they attended the same secondary school.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy has been accused of faking miracles in South Africa.

According to a report, some church members have accused the renowned pastor of hiring people to pretend to be sick and disabled. These actors are then healed during his television shows and public prayer meetings.

The report quoted a member of the church saying;
“I was offered R10,000 to rehearse and pretend to be in a wheelchair three weeks before the all-night prayer called Night of Bliss at the Johannesburg Stadium,”

“The pastor told me that they were looking for people to work for the church. He said that I was going to sit in a wheelchair and be wheeled around while pretending to be physically ill. I would then stand up and walk as soon as Pastor Chris stopped praying for me.

“Even children who are healthy are whisked around in wheelchairs. Some use crutches.

“Everyone is allocated a person who tells the congregation about your background, your specific illness and suffering.
“The pastor then raises his hands and places them maybe on your legs if you cannot walk, and a few seconds later you get up and walk around the room,”

The source also claimed he called the church to turn down their offer.
“I just told myself that using the word of God to lie to desperate people is immoral, so I refused to take up their offer.”
