I advise you start warming up to him. Dude is a brilliant creative and knows when to give others their due.

I know you might not like his style judging by his MCU roots and comedy application. But the guy's a top creative loved by all both producers and actors, even top executives. Man was said to have been Feige's successor over at Marvel. He actually worked closely with Feige and rumor is he was a close second on command before his unfortunate incident that led to his initial sacking over at Disney.

Man was offered Justice League reboot by WB earlier on but he rejected the project and instead chose to work with obscure characters. That to me speaks volumes on his personality.

Slasher horror movies are not known for having good plot let alone doesn't come close to the best subgenres of horror.
Slashers aren't really known for the plot but for just the gore, scare, maybe thrill and explicitness. It's usually some random dude killing people in gruesome manner without much intelligent plot progression.

The slasher horror movie of recent memory that I've enjoyed and was good was the past two movies in the 'Fear Street' trilogy. Even at that, the trilogy still had major elements of other horror subgenres like: supernatural, psychological & haunted house.

Avatar vs Aquaman 2 is definitely not a good idea bro. They basically the same thing and will cannibalise each other.
Avatar 2 might murder anything along its way.

Even though Aquaman 2 can hold its own which I believe, it'd be leaving money on the table since there's also a strong alternative around. It wouldn't play to its full potential. Although, Aquaman is no stranger to strong competition, but you don't wanna bet against nostalgia and James Cameron.

If anything, that $30mn gross for Avatar rerelease I'm just two weeks should tell you it's cleaning business.

Lol, I don't like Slashers. It's one of the major reasons I hated horror genre for many years until few years ago when I discovered other subgenres.
Slashers probably have the dumbest plot of all horror genres.

Honestly, I don't see any difference in quality of trailers MAPPA produce as against others.

Blades of The Guardians by Tencent Video
Demon Slayer by UFOtable
Mob Psycho 100
Vampire in the Garden by Wit studio

These are some of the best trailers I've seen from other studios not named Mappa, and I don't see a comparative difference in quality. Just depends on the tone and style of the particular anime.

AOT has been big over the years...

But the S4 hype grew even far higher than it ever reached....
Part of it was it's marketing... especially being marketed as the final season...

For The Boys S3, you can definitely tell how much marketing they did for it...
The show was popular for the first 2 seasons but the hype for S3 was crazy...everyone was jumping on it...

They launched social media campaigns and official accounts promoting it everyday, if you follow The Boys content on social media, you'll be amazed by the amount of marketing S3 had...

I made a comment on The Boys marketing sometime ago on this thread sef

AOT was very popular but I don't think it's marketing is what pushed it.
It's unlike CSM that gets marketed every now and then YouTube and Twitter.

I hardly even saw much marketing for AOT asides from fans word of mouth and hyping on social media. Hence my opinion of fanbased hype rather than marketing.
If you were to recommend shows to newbies on anime, 9 out of 10 times you'd include AOT and JJK.
That's what I talk about fanbase pushing numbers up and not really marketing.

How Demon Slayer smashed all records and box office even One Piece movie is struggling to match, I don't know. If you can capture the attention of general audience you'd successful.
It's the new fans flocking to it under recommendations from older fans that's boosting new shows.
They're easy to form into fanbases or huge popularity now cos they are newer, shorter amount of episodes.

Mappa is popular quite alright, but how many people really know the studios that are behind their favourite content. It's mainly just because we obsessed with some of our fave shows or franchises that's the main reason we go as far as knowing the production studio. For general audience, average people, they definitely don't know who Mappa is. And it's social media that's making seem ppl know their studio or director.
All na hogwash. Ask an average person around you about directors and movie studios then you go know say all of us know things only when na online.

Reality is different from social media life.

As big as AOT is, it didn't reach the levels of popularity it reached until MAPPA took over...

AOT spent 3 seasons from 2013-2019 under Wit studio but never did...but in it's first year under MAPPA, MAPPA did outstanding promotion

You're shouting MAPPA MAPPA but you're only dropping data of AOT under MAPPA. Can we see previous data of AOT under studio Wit?
Also, I hardly take data from Parrot Analytics seriously these days. It's metric of rating is somewhat shady and not so reliable. It's largely inconsistent across various programs.

All shows grow by popularity as the seasons progressed. Abi you think say Game of Thrones na one year e take build that hype. Even The Boys that burst the charts everywhere earlier this year, I can categorically tell you that we that watched it in its first season was way fewer than number of people watching and hyping it now.

What I saw with AOT huge blast in popularity earlier this year is because it became readily accessible for viewers everywhere. It was on Hulu, Disney+, Funimation, Crunchyroll everywhere. It's distribution improved.

Looking at the starting lineup this is objectively what the starting XI should look like given the individual underwhelming show from players in the past week between the Milan games and Madrid.

If Xavi is to show he's flexible and adapt depending on players form and performances per game, this is what it should look like. Even Busquets is benched. About 5 starting XI players benched in this game counting Raph, Dembele, Balde and Eric — in a must win match to keep fans confidence and maintain close margin with league leader.

Asides Alonso in CB, there's not much really to complain of (not much options really with recent performance from Eric and Pique). Except of course how tactics in the game pans out. Lineups wise, it's great. At least maybe Baba is listening and bowing to sensible pressure.

I'm glad seeing Ferran in the starting lineup and on the right wing. He was more influential in that position than all season long on the left.

Honestly I really don't see Timothee as a Superhero guy. The way the guy chooses his project you'd know dude is very deliberate about his choices. I've not even for once pictured him in a CBM.
If he chooses to join a superhero verse, then it's superb for the franchise cos the dude got mad fans especially them girls. grin

If he can convince the White straight menfolk then it's kumbaya for the filmmakers.
