There's nothing to fear here. It's HBO. It's also the network's first game adaptation ever. They wouldn't want to fvvk it up, especially one of the best games ever of the past decade. It doesn't come cheap either as it's a little behind HOTD's budget.

The game developer closely working together for the project gives me much confidence. Especially when you look at the writer and director Craig Mazin. Dude produced the critically acclaimed Chernobyl series.

The game writer & developer himself Neil Druckmann is directly involved in the series. He's also a writer and directed an episode. So I ain't bothered by a few changes.

Saw some of the game's players discussing about the spores issue a day ago.

Based on what I've seen of the few scenes in the story, it seems it's closely adapted to the source.

"The Devil's Hour" (2022)

This noir psychological thriller needs more than your attention to fully unravel!

A woman seemingly wakes up at 3:33am everyday aka "The Devil's Hour" cascading into a series of events that involves time looping, reality intertwining and related but ambiguous at the same time, but if you sieve through this ambiguity, it pays off in the end.

Excellent cast, excellent writing and quite frankly excellent show.

"Does Déjà vu happen randomly or it happens because we have lived this same "life" over and over again"?

One of 2022's mysteries that remains elusive.

One of my favorite moments of the film was Siobhan correcting Colm about Mozart.

It shows that Colm was not as smart as he appeared to be, and cracked open his wise old man facade. He was being truthful to about his reasons for tanking the friendship, but his methods for doing so are still crap.

He is wise, but also bitter and stubborn, and that so he thinks that the key to breaking his monotony is by suffering.

I don't actually think that Colm hates Paidric. He hates himself, and he is using Padraic being "dull" as an excuse to push his one true friend away.


Avoiding movies that have a runtime of over 2hrs for now, but i am hearing good things about "The Fablemans", i will get to it soonest.

It's the runtime of 2hrs and above I was running from that made me delayed on watching these award season movies in December till now. Instead I'd just go and watch TV shows. That number dey fear me.

Just got a bit of interest in them especially Mohicans because of my love for Pocahontas story. Don't know if it's an adaptation of indigenous peoples or just the title.

DDL na egbon adugbó o...Proper actor ngl. Has 139 wins from 212 nom!, Won the 5 major movie awards for one role, twice and he has 3 Oscar best actor in a leading role award. Sadly, he's retired now.

Yeah. I've been hearing about DDL for years but don't care much for his films. Him retiring early sef didn't put much enthusiasm to his filmography.

Mann...Cate Blanchett delivered an oscar worthy performance but the entire movie was pretentious and a serious bore, it took me 3 days with a very good mood to finish!. Further proof that fantastic performance could also mean a bland movie if the other things go wrong.

Mehn, those shows with 5 seasons and above are the toughest. You just dey do permutations and combinations on how to finish am.

Watchlist you can clear in a month, is that one huge? Unless say you no get work or social outing that whole month. Just bingeing all day.

Lol, I see clearing of HUGE watchlist in a month and I dey laugh.

Even during COVID in 2020 that everyone was holed up, back then I was watching films and TV series everyday having watchtime of at least 10+ hours per day. I still no clear reach half of my movies list then when I still dey list them on paper.
Neighbours where even yabbing me then cos I wasn't socialising enough and just keep myself holed up in my room all day. I just come out during evening time and still calculate my time I'd spend doing boring small talks. 1hr30mins max I don japa enter house back. Na mostly light, heat or that period when transformer blow na im I even dey get ppl time sef.


All that no even reduce my list by half in about 2 months of doing nothing. Talkless of when you're busy with work, life and other stuff.

Even when my watchlist is huge...I can clear it up in a month max...

For me even if a show is rated 100% I won't watch if it's not my taste

There are many shows on my watchlist with two years of research I've known them, the plot, the actors, directors etc but I don't have the time to watch. I have 2, 3, 4 to 5yrs I've been keeping some stuff in watchlist.
