Don't you think mentioning movies like inception, transcendence & in time is kinda way too much. Poking into the SciFi Genre is a no no for me, cause taking lots of factors into consideration, we may never get there.

Every industry has what they are good at. Hollywood is an all rounder, Bollywood excells best with Romance, Comedy, Rom-Com & Drama, and the industry has been churning out movies with exquisite contents from these genres. Nollywood, is mostly good/ ok/ trying when it comes to Comedy, Romance & Rom-Com & Sometimes Drama. Have you see a movie with John Okafor, Charles inoje, or Charles Awurum, these guys would give some American comedy actors a run for their money.

So, these genres that we are good at, we can start from there. Creative writers can come up with concepts as good as ;Before Sunshine, when Harry met Sally, Mr Bean Holiday, Booksmart, Stepbrothers, Dumb & Dumber etc. Let's start from there first & perfect these genres we are a lil bit good at, then as time goes on, we can branch into other genres.

Trust me we Nigerians are very creative, but the situation or condition of the country is enough to eliminate any form of creativity one has. Are you trying to tell me that in all your years of seeing movies, you can't come up with & pen down a concept worthy of the big screens. Many of us work from 9-5 or even more, now tell me how easy it is for someone like that to pen down something creative, then,how about those in schools with atleast 15 courses to study a semester & destiny killing lectures to put up with daily.

Na so.

Also I heard a story back then that the Nollywood environment sef kill creativity on its own. I heard if you turn in a script without being amongst this Genres you are going nowhere and without funding: Comedy, Drama, Romance. If you try Action you getting very limited. High concept ideas eg sci-fi and nolanverse are shot down naturally, them go tell you say e be like say you never ready for naija film industry.

To prove this analogy if you look through the highest grossing Nollywood films; top ten would be dominated by the above Genre especially Comedy Drama 95%.

Little wonder you rarely see historical movies about Naija. The exception being October 1 and prolly 76. I still wonder why no one has come up yet with the counterinsurgency war or Boko Haram narrative since all these years.

Bro the last 9ja movie I saw at the cinema had me in tears because of my wasted funds....Netflix is here so there is a wider global reach now, so the producers should take a leap and do something good... I am not even calling for CGI and VFX....indie movies without VFX but with proper story line and top notch acting dey always bang.

Don't worry we are getting there. Netflix acquired Lionheart and King of Boys for their content last year for some juicy amount.

Soon others will follow suit. I know we can't do VFX, I was just joking.

I'm still waiting for peeps who have watched Ratnik to come and give testimony. It's Nigerian sci-fi.

Even the loans you mention- there are government grants and loans for manufacturing companies but none for movie companies.

If we invest in video technology, arts and film schools, tax breaks for movie productions etc, Nollywood would be great

Loved the concept, it was quite an original one. Acting wasn't that really impressive, the whites in the movie were more terrible actors than us. Cinematography was ok, nothing fancy, soundtracks were dope, every single one of em', the choice of Johnny Drilles' songs were a good one.

One thing I noticed about Nollywood movies is that conflict resolution of entire movies are done abruptly. Like resolving the climax of a whole movie in a space of just 30sec or less.

Secondly is the predictability. 98% of our movies are predictable & devoid of any form of twist or suspense.

These are the few of the many flaws our dear script writers & directors have to look into & work on. Generally our content has improved, our movies doesn't center on rituals, & a host of barbaric practice anymore, hopefully some day we'd get there.

This film has been on my list since of Nollywood content but fear catch me download am.

Most especially after I finished watching that nonsensical movie— 93 days. Imagine the hype around that movie that time about Ebola.

Living in Bondage:Breaking Free (2019): 4/10. I tried to indulge my self with this flick after years of nollywood neglect and I was disappointed to say the least. This was uncalled for and no where near the quality of the first part and to think this was a century ahead of the later. The story was so bland and incoherent, and the acting was medicore especially from the lead female, how are you choosing Muna as a lead actress in what was suppose to be the biggest movie from nollywood in recent times (guessing this is her first movie, If not she can't act to save her life) and how is this ritual narrative still a plot in nollywood this era when they are so much more to make movies about.

Nollywood is still at "we don try small small" stage for far too long.. When are we actually going to try big and make proper movies? Pathetic!

Lol, you no wan spend money for Cinema watch naija film by supporting producers with funds but you wan enjoy CGI with millions of dollars worth and better story.

Also stop Alaba piracy. Without proper investments you will continue getting what you see and hate.

cavill did menti0n b4, prior to BvS that he could appear in a SS sequel. MOS 2 is dpendent on snyder cut. And it's obvious it would have zack at the helm. HC won't return for JL resho0ts. Resho0ts aren't happening, cos to do that, u need alot of things like set design and c0ntract. Plus, it's n0t like only Cavill will film scenes.

Its been confirmed that that there's going to be additional photography mainly for additional dialogue and perfection for the final product.

And WB chairman has already confirmed that the reported $30mn is smaller than the actual money to be spent on the project.

Nah, I really don't see that happening.

It will only be possible in the Sequel— The Batman 2. That's why WB need Flash / Flashpoint and that's after the Batman premieres. That's even if and when WB finally coerce Reeves into accepting DCEU continuity.

That can only happen in the sequel. Besides you got a continuity problem with Commissioner Gordon being Black in The Batman.

For me, I still want the next superman movie to be part of DCEU continuation, and I pray Zack is given a much bigger role. Honestly speaking, I so much love the realistic take Zack brought to the DCEU... To me it's breathtaking.

I don't think Cavill will appear in SS or The Batman. But additional scenes to play Supes in SnyderCut is imminent. Negotiations still ongoing for appearance in other films.
The Batman is separate and different from the DCEU. It's just like Joker.

I'm hearing if MOS2 is the most likely candidate. If SnyderCut is massive, then assuredly a sequel with Cavill is definitely coming.

Also Ayercut will be released.
