Instead of channeling that energy towards betterment of the Nigeria Educational System, you are protesting for a CJN whose children are schooling in U.S and U.K while you stay in Nigeria and suffer ASUU Strike and at the end of the day when you graduate, no job. You roam around the streets looking for job meanwhile in developed countries it is students like you who ensure that the government of their country do the right thing.

Nigeria is really a failed state. Tufiakwa. I cannot wait to get my Canadian Passport after my graduation from my canadian university and work for for five years in Canada.

I honestly feel for Nigerian youths most especially the university students I dont think there is any other country in the world that wastes their students times (lives) like Nigerian system has been doing to her so called leaders of the future. A 4 years course could turn to 7 years just cuz of strike action.

The students themselves don't understand what is at stake here. They are not making any efforts to support ASUU, they are rather supporting a useless government whose officials have their children schooling abroad. It is not just about going back to school. Students need a sane environment and well motivated lecturers to achieve their goals which is ASUU's grouse. That should not be faulted.

Paying for what you are?

They started having issues a few years into the union when after a minor disagreement the husband left for work and the her mum called to tell her that her wife had come around to drop the only child with her ( she was just 1 year plus at the time). She came in early that morn, to her Hubby's hometown and told the mums she wanted to buy something around the area. She later called an hour later to tell her "she has come to drop their child and that Olorun a wo a toju e" . Hubby got home to discover that she has moved her belonging away from the home and it was her mother (giving full consent) whom facilitated the whole thing.

The marriage packed up long ago. The woman's heart is not in that marriage anymore. The dropping off of child, abortion, etc. just proves her heart left long ago.

In Ireland a child is not expected to start formal education until he is six (6).
In India, children are expected to start schooling by age 4+. Any age less than this goes to a play school.

Although , i dont think there is any best age for a child to start school, i certainly believe a child that young should be given some time to grow up a bit. In the good old days, our grand mothers breast feed their children even up till age 2 (quote me anywhere). Women of nowadays no go allow make d child reach 6months dem go don introduce solid food........no wonder we now have indomie generation of weaklings who fall sick at d slightest exposure to the elements.

I went to school when my hands could touch my ears. My parents taught me manners before I left home and my mother coped with my childhood idiosyncrasies such that my teachers' work was not complicated.
My daughter was too good in school that she passed to go to Secondary school at 9, and I asked, "what is the hurry". She is a graduate of more than six years now and is not interested in working for anyone but is employing others.
Many of my students are Bishops, Captains of Industry and name it. I give it to my mum. At 90, she is still the best. She gave me her all and society has been much better.
