safarigirl:Had no time my äss! Stop actin' like you didn't read the whole thing. For anyone regardless of the topic to read something and blindly respond only demonstrates that the individual is a fool. If you do not even know what the person's rebuttal is, how can you know how to give a proper response? Get over whatever it is that's taking a bite at your äss and stick to the topic at hand. One thing I will agree with you on, is you're indeed not good at going through anything. Your inability to even insert the quotes properly demonstrates that. Also, I don't know what "epistles" you're referring to because last time I checked, my response to you was no longer than the initial response you wrote. If anything they're about the same size--one paragraph. If you chose to include my response to Revolva as a response to you then I suggest you go re-read the comment and stop with all that nonsense talk about epistles. Anyway, I don't care if you like Tiwa Savage's music or not. That's not what I addressed nor is that the subject matter of this thread. Stick to the topic if you wanna make a point, because you going left and right with your responses only makes you look like you don't know what you're saying. I didn't fail to respond to what you said about Omawumi--my response where I said "I could care less if they were wearing a Dolce & Gabbana outfit or some obscure designer. It's about presenting yourself well and how you carry yourself!", explains it all. It was in response to the comments you made about Omawumi, Ice Prince, Dbanj, Tuface Idibia, and P-Square. If you wanted to bypass it or you just didn't understand, that's not my problem. If you go through the my previous comment carefully, you'd see that it is you who failed to grasp onto what was said, not I. I don't know what "others" you're mentioning because if you can read at all, in my initial responses I addressed both musicians and actors/actresses but that's not to say that it's limited to just actors or musicians. You can pick and choose whoever it is that you wanna include in this category of "others". |
why is it that pastors enjoy a sense of immunity within the christian faith? any time a pastor or minister does something unbecoming of his position the same Christians who should know when sin is being committed are the ones that quote the bible saying judge not. How do you identify a sinner by not condemning his actions? Condeming a behaviour is not the same as judging. Judging requires he/she that errs gets sanctioned or punished. Christ and all the prophets condemned the sinful behaviour. Christ particularly singled out the hypocrisies by the temple priest he even went on rampage in the synagogue the only time he lost his super cool. When Jesus warned Peter about his impending betrayal, it was a sign that the future church upon which Christ had ordained Peter as the Rock(leader) will be corrupted. Why is it that no Pastor these days condemns the excesses of other pastors? why?
Because they're all in on it ![]() |
I prefer the home style rather the abroad style. In the home style, Susan looks lovelyeven though she has a small pooch. In the abroad style pic, I don't like the dress on her. It's just not flattering for her physique even she has a small pooch as well |
maryjames9:Must he have a private jet for you or others to see that the man is promising nothing but lies to people? Get your head out of the guys' äss and open your damn eyes! There are many public officials both religious and non-religious who do own property through the donations of congregations yet people don't know about it. Him supposedly providing jobs, helping the needy/less privileged, and providing shelter for those who need it, is no excuse to be going around making promises that put people's lives in danger. The fact that someone can even do that takes away from the supposed good deeds that you he/she has done. quest55:Sadly, people still haven't learned. |
Pukkah:Born again my foot! TB and those people need to stop lying to themselves! |
Smh, its really sad how people blindly put their lives in the hands of such people regardless of whether it is religion or politics we are dealing with. |

BABE!, wasn't there a better pic of Nike wearing the dress? Perhaps then it could level the playing field ![]() |
Bamaguje:Yes, you're right! I totally forgot about Nneka and Asa. |
Siena:Well said! |
lol funny video |
Kobojunkie:LOL, ask am o! ![]() |
zolzlolz:She didn't think of it as anything because its not the first person she'd see him. |
zolzlolz:It was throughout the train ride. Eventually, he transfered trains and so did we ![]() |
zolzlolz:lol, sure come live with us ![]() Yeah, I'm serious. We ran into him on the train when he was leaving a photo shoot and he flirted with her for a bit. |
Siena:The "Resident Evil" copycat is photoshopped as well--take a good look at it. All they did was tweak the clothes a bit. I suspect they used the "filter/liquify" tool, "curves tool" and the "clone stamp" tool ![]() |
I think Anika wore it best--Nike's posture throws off the beauty of the dress ![]() |
iice:True! One of my besties has hazel colored eyes and girls are always drooling over ![]() Personally, I like my eyes as they are. But I think I'd look really cute with my brothers eye color. He has light chocolate colored eyes |
It's no different from black men using s-curls texturizers to go to get a wave in their hair. |
zolzlolz:I've seen Liya Kebede, Arlenis Sosa, Bre Scullark, Alek Wek [she has a house near my former school], Jordan Dunn, Danielle Evans, Sessilee Lopez, Ajuma Nasenyana, Salieu Jalloh, Fatima Siad, Ibrahim Baaith, Thiago Santos [he flirted with my younger sister once ], Henry Watkins and a bunch of other models. lol, I can't hire you since I don't work for or at a modeling agency. My sister writes for an online lifestyle magazine in the UK site so every season when fashion week rolls around, I tag along--that's one of the reasons I've been able to see these models in person. Also, the school that my sister went had lots of showrooms and a modeling agency near it so it wasn't uncommon for me to see these models in the area. Often times I see them in Soho. There was another famous model I met some years ago but I can't remember her name. She was once a guest judge on America's Next Top Model. I ran into her again, about two years ago while she was driving around in the neighborhood near my school. And just recently, I met an Ethiopian model I met over the summer while shopping in Aldo's--the girl was stunning but I didn't catch her name before she left the store. Initially, it was the girls mother that caught my attention because she was equally stunning. Was so gorgeous, I couldn't help but stare at her. |
Regardless of the industry, this is photoshop blasphemy ![]() |
Revolva:I don't have to live in Nigeria to say what I said. I don't see you saying that to Nigerians living in Nigeria who make comments or talk about non-Nigerian celebrities. I'm quite sure you've made comments one time or another about a non-Nigerian celebrity, regardless of what the person does as a profession. Just because you don't live in the persons country doesn't mean that you don't have the right/can't critique them. Yes, I know its not easy but that is not an excuse to produce work that is complete and utter bullshit--its not an excuse for a person to not know how to carry themselves when in the limelight. A lot of these Nigerian "celebrities" are just a hot mess, whether you wanna admit it or not. Like ogugua88 said, its a lot of excess. Its one thing to wanna look nice and dress well but when you look like a damn Christmas tree by wearing EVERY trend of the season, AT THE SAME TIME, you just end up looking like a fool who is trying too hard! Even when they produce and make movies, it's freakin' ridiculous. Its like they don't know how to write a proper script that makes sense or is cohesive. Everything is almost always taken to the extremes for no reason at all. In an attempt to make a name for yourself within the global industry, must you make a joke of yourself and your people?! The people of Nigeria deserve much better than the bullshit that is presented to them. I have always believed in the resilience of the people of Nigeria so for these talentless people to be parading around like they've done something good, c'mon! I have seen struggling college students make even the most basic short films look like they were made with a huge budget. Regardless of whether it is a Nollywood celebrity, Bollywood celelbrity, Ghollywood celebrity, Jollywood celebrity, Hollywood, or any other industry of another country, I will comment and critique them if I feel that here are things about them that are off. I've seen crappy movies and celebrities of many industries, even those who have the finances to make themselves look good and I have still voiced my opinions of them. I'm not just going out of my way to talk about Nollywood "artists"/"celebrities". If someone looks and performs like crap, then it is what it is. There's no other way around it! safarigirl:Smell whatever you want to smell. Let's call a spade a spade!! No one said a damn thing about them wearing name brand clothes. I could care less if they were wearing a Dolce & Gabbana outfit or some obscure designer. It's about presenting yourself well and how you carry yourself! If you personally wanna look like crap then good for you--more power to you on that endeavor but they are in the public eye and because of that, they know what they got themselves into. Even if you put their looks aside, some of them don't know how to carry themselves properly in an interview. At times, they talk and act like they have no common sense. It's called common sense because usually most people have it. In the case of some Nigerian celebrities, it looks like they've got none at all! Excusing nonsense only breeds more nonsense. If you don't like Tiwa Savage just come out and say it--there's no need for you to be sittin' around exaggerating by saying certain parts of her body was showing! |

It is a pity that most of you are only showing up because you felt insulted. You do not need to prove yourselves to anyone because those who underestimate you will not stop to do so if you say otherwise or if you provide evidence to the contrary. On a second thought, maybe the reason the ladies never show up is not because they are intimidated but because they think we are idiots. Chei, I hope that is not the case o. ![]()
lol, I'm sure its not that ![]() |

Unfortunately, I've never seen a famous model in my life, but Yasmin Warsame actually was in a fashion show in Johannesburg a year ago. That's the first time I saw her (she was on the front page of the paper), and I thought she was so gorgeous.
