geeljiire: alot of insecure people in this thread.
personally, i like all african features, particularly ivorian/mali. i'm somali and i'll tell you guys something some of these western somalis or anyone has mentioned. somali's themselves are different. there are 2 types, northern somali's(consisting of 2 clans which share close common ancestry, isaaq/dir clans) and southern somali's( who have intermarried, throughout the generations with people of west african descent). northern somali's or somalilanders/djibouti tend to be lighter skinned and have more indigenous features, similar to that of ethiopian/eritrean('tigreans', the light skinned beautiful ethiopians being posted. majority of ethiopians are 'amhara' and look nothing like the ones being mentioned. i don't want to be racist but southern somalis are generally darker skinned and have nappy hair. southern somalia is the somalia the media usually portray. war torn and desperate. most people don't know this but we somali's don't even mix. we look different, have different customs and cultures. blame the british and italians for colonial segregation.
i've lived in northern somalia for 2 years. and although it's true somalis are generally 'pretty', they are just that, pretty as in they have delicate features. i personally don't find them attractive(although you'll see the best looking somali girls not in europe or america, but in hargeisa city at sunset), it's like finding my mother or sister attractive. it's the features,
blah blah, sorry for bumping dead thread but what i'm trying to say is, we're all different and it's time we stopped arguing and celebrated are differences(cliche). i find west african girls got more sex appeal if you know what i mean, Interesting. Where you born in Somalia? |

nice4life: there is this popular believe that ladies are move by words more than looks. However based on my own experience I think the reverse is the case.I dont waste so much time talking to a woman trying to convince her, it is always instant even before I open my mouth.I've lived in Nigeria and now in the states and my experience seems the same.ladies everywhere seems to like handsome men at first contact. If they cannot control themselves they may end up doing the toasting. Does anybody here agree with me? What's that supposed to mean? Sine you're talking about looks, would you care to post your pic, so I can what exactly it is that's supposedly making these girls not control themselves? |

@OP: Hmmm, good question. For now, I'd have to say no. It's not because have anything against individuals who are trangender/transexual. Doctors today have yet to actually create a functioning pënis for women who want to become men so sadly, they cannot produce spërm of their own, which means if I/we wanted to have a child of our own [a child that possesses both our DNA], then that would be impossible. It's one thing if we wanted to adopt or have a child that has half the DNA of us. . . The idea of dating a transgendered/transexual individual isn't totally out of the question I suppose. I can't predict the future so, who no. I know transgendered individuals, both friends and acquaintances and for the most part, I've never had any attraction to any of them |

sleekch1c: @michelin, Aren't U̶̲̥̅̊ d sweethrt who was rumoured to look like GEJ and needed a nose job badly?oh well! @inked and babe! Hahahahahaa, high fashion indeed.honestly, I do think dat those two women have got very hot bodies, abt them being fat, anyone who says so need glasses sha. Abt me ŋ☺† exercising and being obese? Looooooooooool,I'm ₪o where close to dat, I J̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊t̲̥̅̊ believe curvy women look better in almost anything they wear. By d way, simce wen does being curvy=being fat?If I had to pick d body type I wanted,I wld pick a well curved figure over a pencil and skinny one. babe and inkerd once again a̶̲̥̅♏ very disappointed in U̶̲̥̅̊ two for dat comments U̶̲̥̅̊ make.maybe nairaland its beginning to take its toll on U̶̲̥̅̊ guys.an apology wld be in order! How wonderful. . . So not only do you not possess comprehension skills, you lack basic knowledge as well. Not once in my statement did I mention "high fashion". I pointed out something to you which you obviously failures to understand and realize. If you've got a bone to pick, do it with someone else because I never asked nor mentioned you not exercising or being obese. That is none of my business if you're out of shape. Take that up with the person who made those statements about you. Also, I never said that being curvy meant that one was fat. The fact that you keep using the word "pencil" demonstrates that your response was made with malice. Is there a reason for you to be referring to someone as a "pencil"? If someone is fat and someone else uses the word fat to describe them, then what is there to be getting upset about? Let's call a spade a spade! I personally NEVER used the word fat on this thread to describe anyone. If you're going to make that remark, then direct it to the person that remark specifically came from. You can be as disappointed as much as you want for my remarks. You pointed put some things which you failed to mention or even understand, so if anything, you owe the people of this thread an apology, not me apologizing to you! I have nothing to apologize to you for.
http: How i wish we can deports all the obese ladies here to naija for the men over there
I don't like skinny girl cos am slim, not skinny but love moderate lady, not fat, not skinny, jus right in the middle, the front intack the defender all right
Being fat, i mean FATTTT is physically, mentally, emotionally, securitically sustainably not okay, research show that.
The problem is that most of these ladies are moderate before marriage, after that, the BIG slam THEORY set in motion in their bodies, ladies please work out pleeeeaaaaassssseeeee. And what about men? I don't see you complaining about fat men, so why do you feel the need to speak of women in such a manner? |

michelin89: Typical of a/an fat/obese girl to call slim girls anorexic. If you have failed to have an attractive body, blame it on yourself not me! LOL LOL LOL
sleekch1c: @michelin, Seriously? Me thinks that curvy girls can go wrong in anything! Can someone like kim kardashin or beyonce ŋ☺† look classy in anything?pls dnt give urself hope if U̶̲̥̅̊ re anorexic, balance your diet and U̶̲̥̅̊ will be fine! No, Kim Kardasian and Beyonce can't look "classy" in everything. Anyone who opens their mouth and says that a person can look good in anything has only demonstrated that they know NOTHING about fashion. Because you favor curvier bodies than slimmer bodies doesn't mean that they are better or worse than someone of a slimmer physique. Also, who said anything about being anorexic? Just because someone is skinny doesn't mean they are anorexic. Learn to separate those two things. If I look at a curvaceous woman, should I just say she is fat or morbidly obese? You can keep thinking till thy kingdom come that "curvy" women can't go wrong in anything but that doesn't make your statement true. What a slimmer person wears will not look the same as a person a curvier physique, and vise vera. And telling an anorexic to simply "balance their diet" just goes to show how much understanding you lack of the disease. How can you even sit here and tell someone not to give themselves hope?!

Look Men are Guided by what they see, women are Guided by what they feel,
A man is first attracted to he sees then the rest is secondary, so if you look like FREE_WILLY well
Well what? Just because you may not like someone like that doesn't mean someone else or everyone else won't.
michelin89: If you can call Nollywood actresses attractive, sexy and curvy, why hate on skinny girls?
Oh! Maybe because most of the girls posting here are just like those actresses and the guys are dating girls with that same physique!
Sleekch1k, work out and you'll also have that flat belly you have always wanted and stop hating on slim girls. I also like food (just ate rice and stew, banana, yogurt and chicken nuggets ) but I have chosen not to make it an addiction like you did! Good question. I understand that for years, we have been bombarded with images of skinny women being beautiful but that doesn't means because things have changed a bit that it should be a free for all to bash women of a smaller stature. People shouldn't be trying to uplight others and in the same process put others down--it does nothing but create a unnecessary riff. Skinny can be beautiful and so can curvy. I don't see people in society all being so critical of men and their bodies. No one complains when a man gains or loses a few pounds but when a woman does it, all hell breaks loose. |

Sometimes they make sense but most times they comment solely to be seen and heard without anything objective to say. These are the ones i can remember for now:- bLefulefu ( creates senseless threads and silly comments and he derives joy in bashing Naija girls.), Mr. Cork ( just because he claims to be in the UK, he thinks he's in heaven sitted on the left hand side of God.), Freecocoa ( seems intelligent & at times sounds polished but most times, talks like a tout. She's got the tendency to ecome a female thug.), 190 ( Most times, appears very dumb and silly but since he went off some weeks ago, he seems to have matured since his return.) Im not dissing these people but truth be told, they just love seeking attention and they seem to have made nairaland their Living room. Though they are more than these.
