Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Who Should Have Money First Man Or Woman? by InkedNerd(f): 1:38am On Nov 16, 2011
There should be a healthy balance. Being the "head" doesn't mean that you should make each and every decision in the household. Last time I checked, marriage was a partnership, not a dictatorship.

I'm not sure if I can say it is the most exciting but I will admit, it's quite entertaining grin

coogar:
how's he in the same boat with a hooker? is the man getting paid?
the only LovePeddler here is the hooker using what she's got(body assets) to get what she wants.
It's a business transaction. Someone paying a prostitutë for sex doesn't make the person any better than the prostitutë. Your making claims that the prostitutë is using her body to get what he or she wants is no different from a John using his/her money to get what they want so ultimately, they're in the same boat. Neither one is any better than the other.

Inky I find it hard to believe you are the one saying abi writing the above, jeez!pro sti tution and promiscuity are two different things, there's no way a man who patronizes a prost* tute could be called a pros*ti tute, true it involves two people but its a profession\business just like buying and selling, the man paid for what he bought for God's sakes, she didn't pay him,we are not talking about morals or standards here but the simple definition of the word "PRO*S*T*ITUTE*i can't believe this is so hard to understand.
I didn't say that a man or woman who patronizes a prostitutë is one as well but he most definitely is in the same boat with one. I was agreeing with the point that he was trying to make about people having a one sided notion in society.

Inks nerd na wa for u oh, how many beauty queens do u see on nairaland? We r talking about a beauty queen here, beauty queens must always posses some trace of physical beauty.
To you she may not be beautiful but to someone she is. Because you don't see it doesn't mean its not there. Last time I checked, these so called pageants included personality, talent, and answering of questions by judges. It's not just limited to looks alone. Suppose they chose her because all of the "beautiful women" in the pageant had no personality, no talent, and gave horrible answers in the Q & A? Suppose they chose someone else and the person has no personality, no talent, and gave horrible answers in the Q & A? You all would have been here complaining that the girl was an airheard or that she was pretty but had no brain. Like I said, athough I think pageants are complete bullshit, you need to keep in mind that the supposed intentions were to have someone who symbolizes their nations' virtues. If none of the so called "beautiful women" possess ANY of the qualitites that was required or expected, please tell me how is it fair for them to win just because of their looks alone? The whole objective of the pageant would be defeated.
RomanceRe: Who Is A Prost.itu-te? by InkedNerd(f): 8:14pm On Nov 15, 2011
Why are some people getting on the OP's case? He made a valid point. Prosititütion is not something that limited to just women yet people stupidly associate it only with women while forgetting that there are two people involved in the equation. The only thing I don't argree with is the comment that anyone who has slept with up to five different people in a year is no better than a prostitüte. That is where the OP is dead WRONG. The thing that makes prostitütes different from people who just sleep around is the exchange of money, something of monetary value, or something that is seen as of importance to prostitutë and the person patronizing a prostitutë.

RomanceRe: Based On Different Religions, Is Marriage A Must? by InkedNerd(f): 8:02pm On Nov 15, 2011
@OP: The answer to your question is, no. Marriage is not do or die. I really don't understand why people think that if they don't get married that it is the end of the world. It's sad to see people stupidly marry others just for the sake of saying that they are married. What is in a marriage if you do not even care or love the person you've committed yourself to? I have seen a few Nigerians who for whatever reason subject themselves to the pressure their families try to impose on them and to be quite honest, that is both sad and pathetic. Although I don't think my parents would do such a thing, I did hear my father jokingly tell me to go catch the bouquet while we attended a wedding over the summer so I could get married. I looked at him and the only response I that came to my mind was →  huh then → tongue then → undecided

But I figured, what the hell it's just harmless fun.

Although I find beauty pageants to be a complete load of crap, even though they all claim that it has to do with more than just beauty, I wouldn't be surprised if more than half the people here making negative comments on the girl look any better than she does. I have come across my fair share of profiles on Nairaland where people have professed their beauty YET when you look at their profiles, its nothing to speak highly of. When you all can confidently post your own ugly pictures on Nairaland for the whole world to see then we can see who it truly beautiful and who is wor wor. For now, those of you who don't have a pot to piss in need to just sit down and be quiet.

LMAO. The dumbest posts so far(no insult intended) grin . Why don't you say the same of Angelina Jolie, Jlo, Jennifer Aniston, sofia vergara and all the older actresses? when you see them on screen you jump around and call them the best, but when it comes to your own who is much younger, you come up with the retire line? undecided How dumb? cheesy
Dumb is an understatement. Excellent point though. I see Africans do this all the time--praise others and beat down their own.

Orikinla:
She looks like a school teacher in that dress.
School what? I've never encountered any school teacher whether in Nigeria or the US who has dressed like this for class lipsrsealed
-- This is the best I've seen Madame in 20 yrs (lol). She's not looking bad.

Couple of notes.

1) It's too much! She's making too many "statements". The dress is loud as hell, the last things needed to complement it, is that pair of shoes, and excess jewelry.

2) The dress itself is "young". She's too old for that kind of dress.

3)The hair; Apparently, her 2-yr old child styled it. Cute, but not appropriate.

Good Improvement. I hope to see better coming from her.
Oh BABE!, you comments on fashion are always entertaining. I agree with ya though grin

There are these things about animals that have always baffled me, and  will need you to help me unravel these mysteries,  abeg nor vex ooo! cheesy cheesy

1.Do animals fall in love?

2.Do animals propose love?

3.Do animals have boyfriends and girlfriends?

4.Do animals suffer heart break?

5.Do animals get married?

6.Do animals chat?

help now! cheesy cheesy
1) I really have no idea if animals fall in love. At times, I feel that humans always try to apply human characteristics to animals
2) Propose love? Hmmm, can you elaborate on that?
3) I don't know about referring to themselves as boyfriends or girlfriends, but there are animals who stay with one another for life but they are few though.
4) I would think so but not in the manner that you might think. I once saw footage of a mother gorilla who's baby had died and the mother refused to leave the baby's side even though the baby had died--she petted the baby and continue to wait on her child. I watched that footage with my mom, and honestly, it brought some tears to my eyes. I have seen the same thing among other animals as well cry
5) I doubt that they get married but like I said before, there are some that stay together.
6) Yes, they communicate.
