I have always been interested in feminism. Was reading a collection of short stories by jhumpa lahiri. Too full of american rhetorics. Basically what you'd get from every kind of foreigner raised in america. Richard Dawkins' God delusion, the last book I read, stays better on my mind.

of course, by "they" I meant black american women. Really, it's kinda obvious. Black females always felt estranged by white classist views of feminism. There are only a handful of black women who totally understand this view and like to believe feminism is as universally definitive as atheism, for instance. Moreover, womanism is so american (in fact, north american) that it fails to address the problems of europeans, asians and africans. In my view, this renders it rather weak and unsubstantiated. Okay, I'd rather women seeking liberation embraced a different worldview which tolerates their wishes and at the same time claims global identity. . .just saying. . .you can educate me on womanism, I'd be glad!
