Uber is extremely useless and they cannot help you in this situation(speaking from experience) I would have asked you to threaten that you have reported to EFCC to see if he will comply but i think thats rather late perhaps. But you can still do the following;
1. Report to your bank and his bank for advice. With visible evidence, Your bank can speak to his bank to lien his account (stop his account from further withdrawals) then put a gentleman across to him to summon him for a meeting. If he agrees to terms peacefully, then no ish, otherwise he will be handed over to security operatives.
2. If this is not working. Please report to EFCC, i repeat EFCC and thank me later.
3. Be rest assured, as he will be made to pay all the money coz he has a job.
