Sports › Re: Who is The Greatest Nigeria Super Eagles Player To Wear The Number 10 by Integrafamoo: 9:02pm On Jan 05, 2024 |
robosky02: COUNTDOWN TO AFCON: 10 DAYS
Would it be a funny question if I ask who the greatest Nigeria Super Eagles player to wear the number 10 jersey is? I believe nearly everyone would chorus Okocha. But what if you are wrong?
What if history and stats say otherwise?
Today, we'll explore the greatest Nigerian players to wear football's most iconic jersey number; 10
📌Jay Jay Okocha 📌Etim Esin 📌John Obi Mikel 📌Henry Nwosu
🦅Etim Esin: Nicknamed "African Maradona" because of his exceptional talent, Etim had one of the shortest period with the Super Eagles but cannot be ignored. He's seen by international media as one of the most gifted players Nigeria has ever had.
Etim made just 8 appearances for Nigeria, 6 of which were World Cup qualifiers. Etim's career was cut short because he was reportedly banned by FIFA on accusation of raping and impregnating a minor during his playing days in Belgium, something that was later proven false after the Belgian girl gave birth to a child with no trace of black blood. Despite being vindicated, the incidence, coupled with his other past discipline issues had already dented his football career badly.
Late Stephen Keshi has this to say about Etim Esin "We had Etim Esin and relied so much on him. The team was built around him because he had so much skill and had so much to offer. So we said this is our “Diego Maradona” in Nigeria because he can do anything with the ball. It was like he was born with the ball.”
Etim's International stats are: 📌Debut: 1987 📌Position: CM 📌Appearances: 8 📌Goals: 1 📌Assists: 0 📌Trophies: 0 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 1 year
🦅Jay Jay Okocha: If Etim Esin is known as one of the most gifted players from Nigeria, then Okocha is one of the most gifted the world of football has ever produced.
Okocha was never named after anyone like "African Pele" or "African Maradona". Okocha was simply Okocha, and that name was and still is a BIG NAME.
Okocha represented Nigeria at 4 AFCON and 3 World Cups, winning one AFCON and being included in a World Cup Best 11.
Okocha left Super Eagles as Nigeria's best dribbler, best freekick taker, best passer, and most entertaining player.
His international stats are; 📌Debut: 1994 📌Position: CM, AM 📌Appearances: 75 📌Goals: 15 📌Assists: 2 📌Trophies/Medals: 9 (1x AFCON Title, 1x AFCON Top Scorer, 2x BBC African Best, 1x Olympics Gold Medal, 1x AFCON Silver medal, 3x AFCON Bronze medal) 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 12 years (1994-2006)
🦅John Obi Mikel: Stepping into Okocha's big and heavy shoes almost immediately was young John Mikel.
Fresh from an outstanding U-20 world cup where he was second best to Leo Messi, Mikel caused a transfer tussle between Chelsea and Manchester United before arriving at Nigeria's senior team
His arrival was highly anticipated as he had already shown his calibre at the U-20 World cup.
Mike represented Nigeria at 5 AFCON, 3 World Cup, 1 Confederations Cup, 1 Olympics, 1 U-20 World Cup and 1 U-17 World Cup.
📌Debut: 2005 📌Position: DM, CM, AM 📌Appearances: 91 📌Goals: 6 📌Assists: 12 📌Trophies/Medals: 8 - (1x AFCON, 1x Olympics Bronze, 1x U-20 World Cup silver Ball, 1x U-20 World Cup Silver medal, 3x AFCON Bronze medal, 1x CAF Most Promising Talent) 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 14 years (2005-2019)
🦅Henry Nwosu Henry Nwosu is remembered as Nigeria's youngest player among the AFCON 1980 winning team. He represented Nigeria at 4 AFCON,
His international stats are; 📌Debut: 1980 📌Position: AM, RM 📌Appearances: 60 📌Goals: 8 📌Assists: 0 📌Trophies: (1x AFCON, 2x AFCON silver Medal) 📌Duration with Super Eagles: 11 years (1980-1991)
Between Etim, Okocha, Mikel and Nwosu, who is the greatest player to wear Nigeria's number 10 jersey?...©PBP wrote it
inkfallartsacademy.com This question is highly disappointing and denigrating, comparing Okocha with any other midfielder ever in Africa, let alone Nigeria. |

Politics › Re: Trending On Quora: "Why Are Nigerians Fleeing Nigeria" by Integrafamoo: 5:56pm On Dec 29, 2023 |
KingOfAmebo: Here's a trending article I read on the world's most popular forum Quora.
"Opportunities once flowed in Nigeria as abundantly as the Niger River, but that narrative has long changed.
Nigerians, known to be resourceful, educated, and fueled by ambition are leaving the shores of their motherland in droves, not in a casual drift but in a frantic exodus.
They're running from a crucible of crises that boils and overflows, leaving a residue of despair with no extinguisher in sight.
A country of numerous resources has become a labyrinth of misfortunes. Governed by the worst of leaders who have weaponized poverty for their selfish interest—that is, when patriotic Nigerians rise to question, and fight, the government, their opponent would be fellow poor Nigerians, fighting tooth and nail for the same politicians who have kept them so.
Nigerians find themselves locked in an ever-intensifying cycle of multi-dimensional problems. From economic chaos to sometimes, unbearable insecurity, the nation's woes accumulate like sediment, each layer more crippling than the last.
The government that the masses put their hopes on as custodian of public interest, has turned the country into a family enterprise, brokering ill-advised deals that mortgage the country’s future. Deals that have dwindled the Naira's value like melting ice.
Petrol prices have soared skyward to three times what they were just months ago, pulling along dreams and ambitions into fury flames.
And yet, our leaders plead for patience in a land where patience has bled dry. With this reality, the rich find their escape routes, seeking refuge in developed countries that offer a semblance of stability, leaving behind poor Nigerians tethered by financial constraints.
The only thing that seems permanent in Nigeria has become the disheartening truth that our yesteryears often outshine our tomorrows. This mass migration of Nigerians isn’t just alarming but frightening—a "brain drain" as it's called, because it's the middle class and skilled Nigerians who are leaving the country in droves.
Those who can no longer wait for the dawn are chasing the sun elsewhere, hoping to find what has become elusive at home— a life of value, a life worth living.
Nigeria has, year after year performed below expectations and for every emigrant, the implication is clear: faith in the motherland has eroded, leaving behind only the skeletal remains of what was once a thriving belief in a shared future that Nigerians can unite and make something out of themselves for the good of everyone who calls Nigeria home."

HighTableVoice: This no be bush meat. That’s a rat.. which we call Okete, na small small pikin beat. But as for the question I think it’s a matter of personal preference, for someone like me who grew up with a solid food diet I will always prefer bush meat to chicken. My dad is very big on bush meat and we always eat together while I was growing up even when the rest of the house hold may be eating rice, beans and all that imported food, he is always eating from him farm harvest. Steady pounded yam almost on a daily basis even Eba or Amal’s he rarely eat And me being grown up I still find chicken not too much of a delicacy, most of the time I opt for goat meat or intestines. Even fish I rarely eat. My woman likes cooking fried rice, Jollof rice and all those style of food, but I always make sure I stick with what I enjoy. So as I said it’s simply a matter of personal preference. I can buy the whole thing, give you food allowance to stock all those but what I enjoy to eat is what I enjoy and I am grateful she understands that part of me. Show us your bush elephant |

No he copied the acct no. And sent the money (to another person, the wrong acct. No. I provided)....
Now we had a discussion which lead to analysing the situation and I told him we both have blames on this transaction, but he doesn't want to acknowledge his fault.
Now the main question is If you sent money to a wrong bank acct, who is to blame
Maybe the sender was drunk. Every transaction pop up the account name before sending. He have known the bearer is wrong |

Health › Re: Anti-malarial Medicine Blocked My Hearing by Integrafamoo: 1:17pm On Dec 23, 2023 |
Whizzdom: On Tuesday (21-12-2023), I was having serious fever, so went to buy an over-the-counter malaria drug and one flu tablet. The lady chemist told me to use 4 tablets in the morning and 4 in the afternoon for the malaria drug, but for the Flu medicine, I should use 1 tablet in the morning and at night. I took 4 tablets in the afternoon that day. On the next day, which is Wednesday, I took 4 tablets making 8 tablets in total plus 1 Flu tablet, A few hours after I took that medicine, I felt a sharp pain in my left hear, after which the pain subsided.
I am Welder by profession, I went to work that same moment, at work, I was using a grinding machine to grind iron to make iron smooth, the machine makes noise, but this day, as I was grinding, I could feel something in my brain or inner ear bringing buzzing sound or noise into my ear, after grinding that iron, I couldn't ear anything, all I was hearing is just noise.
The next day, which is today Thursday, I could hear people speak but they have to be loud, and my ears can't tolerate noise at all.
To go hospital hard me because I no gallant because of the series of test they will have me run which will expend my money I don't have.
My question is to the learned health practitioners in the house, should I give it time for it to heal on its own or I should go to the hospital for doctor's opinion on the matter.
Attached are the medicines for your scrutiny, I hope it is not one of those fake drugs. We may likely go back to herbal medicine soon. Most drugs are fake and the available doctors are no longer competent or committed. Everyone is waiting for the next available flight. I took my child to a teaching hospital, I observed a wrong diagnosis and wrong prescription. There was only one Dr in the children's ward. He felt like crying and he transferred the aggression to care givers. I had to fight him before he could visit my child after 48hrs. I later took my ward to a private pharmacist who rendered perfect service. |

He said the fastest route to pov£rty is marrying a woman who believes her family is also your responsibility. From time to time, you can help only if you can afford it. But, accepting a duty to look after in-laws is not responsibility. It is stupity! Any girl with that type of mentality is a liability. And her family will result in your instability,

I stayed with my sister and her family in Manchester, I was treated like a king with so many delicious Nigerian food.
I took pictures of some of them and here they are. These food might look like no big deal to many on here, but it is for me, since I don’t know how to cook and I live in Las Vegas where it’s very expensive to eat Nigerian food at a restaurant.
I’m in Edinburgh, Scotland at the moment, will make my way to Glasgow, Scotland tomorrow, and then board a bus that will take me to Northern Ireland. The bus will drive onto a Ferry to cross the Irish Sea. I will stay one day in Belfast and then jump on a train to places I don’t know yet, but I have to be at the airport in Dublin on Monday the 23rd of October to catch a flight to London, where I will stay with Dj Douglas for 1 week. He’s is a childhood friend of mine. He’s the one who taught Dj Neptune how to Dj. The last time I saw Douglas face to face was back in December 2005, when he went to the airport with me when I was traveling to Amsterdam from Lagos, on vacation. Before I got back to Lagos in January of 2006, Douglas don japa go London. Lol
He’s established now with a wife and kids.
I will post more as I go about my journey. Stay tuned. While some relatives would keep discouraging others from joining them |
