I registered for my PVC in 2018 in Abia state and collected it that same year.

I later left Abia state to Lagos.

I did online transfer of polling units from Abia state to Lagos last year. And it was successful.

But I didn't go to any local government to do any biometric capturing.


My problem now, am back in Abia state and I believed I will stay here till June. I want to really participate on this year election.

You ought to have checked if the online transfer was approved before the closure of the INEC portal.

You also should have checked the local govt in Lagos to see if the PVC arrived there to confirm the transfer approval before relocating back to Abia.

I would suggest you go to your local government in Abia and explain things to them if they can proffer solutions. I think you left it too late

Yes o, collected mine two days ago. It was so easy and the INEC officials were so organized.

Now the bad news is that they want to move those PVCs to the polling units across the country, it may not be looking good for my Igbo friends in Lagos as those touts might prevent them from collecting their PVCs at the polling units so the best bet is for them to go to the INEC office to get theirs before they move those PVCs to the polling units where it may hard for them to get it.
