Shayee35: I showed a Naira bank statement.
I paid full tuition.
However, I overheard another official asking another student to show evidence of the capacity to pay the second semester and living expenses. So, if you have paid for one semester, you are good. You don't have to pay for the full year upfront. Hi, please can I email you privately? |

maralina: My brother’s Landing gist His program starts Sept 7th He traveled Aug 2nd (4 weeks and 5days)
He Got to MMA, they asked him for: Enrolment letter Acceptance letter Covid test Authorization letter ArriveCan receipt 3 days Hotel reservation Which he provided. The airline staff (Turkish airlines) verified the documents, and said he was okay to board.
He arrived Toronto airport; officer asked for his acceptance letter and letter of introduction. And issued him study permit. He spent over 2hours at immigration because there was a long queue (so be prepared) After immigration, he went to claim his baggage. After that, he went to do covid test, spent over an hour lol. I was outside waiting for him though. When he came out, I drove him to the hotel for quarantine; cooked some food (which I took to the airport) to sustain him for the 3 days, because I’m pretty sure he won’t like them oyibo meals as a first timer Lol. Everything went smooth and I thank God for a safe trip. Wishing everyone coming this fall Safe travels. Hi, please which one is Authorisation form again? And is he vaccinated? |

stevedestiny: Wow!! Thanks a lot.
That means I was misinformed coz someone on this forum said one can go for instant medical exam once the request is gotten.. The person only need to go with the request letter and int. passport, that means it's not true? No, it is not true. The only thing I have heard here is that in event of receiving a medical request which is valid for 30days but you cannot find an appointment date within the 30 days, you can send an email pleading for an early date. However, this is solely at the discretion of the clinic to give an early date. I hope this clarifies things. |

dollymon: Pls help
Pls gurus in the house,
I am in the process of applying for my Student Visa. I got a PGD admission for supply chain management. I currently work with my brothers company as a sales person, hes also the one sponsoring me. Is it advisable I use my mum as a co sponsor ( I plan on doing that) or stick to using my brother alone, since the SOP will state that hes sponsoring me so I can come back to Nigeria to handle greater aspects of the company. Hi, if you mom has a strong bank account too, then why not? The more the merrier. Just get a letter of financial support from her too. The more sponsorship and funds you can show the better. |

Oviebright: Please people don't usually reply me here but this is very important, my mum and dad plan to be my sponsor for my application. Would it be possible to have 2 sponsors? Living expenses is 12k cad. What amount of money would be strong for a decent statement of account for 6 months from my sponsor? Hi, both parents can sponsor you. Provide their letters of support and their bank statements. As regards the amount for POF, you should have your tuition for 1year plus 10k CAD and also have money for your family living in Nigeria. As the VO will not believe that all the money will be used for your Education. I hope this clarifies things. |

Fat112: Hi guys, I’ve something bothering my mind to getting the Canadian Visa and I would need a honest response because I’m naive about whole things. I got a Masters admission to study at Saint Paul University (MSc) since December 2020, but I had my paperwork at VFS since 18th of March 2021. So what is really bothering my mind is this, do I have to get request to do my medical from the Canadian Embassy before I can be get my PPR? But I have scheduled my medical at my own will at the IOM Medical Center. What’s your response about this please? Hi please go ahead and do the medicals, you will submit it via webform in order to save time! Also submitting medicals via webform can be a prompt for the VFS to look at your file |

Please the bank is asking for an account number of some sort and the school said he can only pay via a credit card or an platform call CBC international pay or something like that. WummieWummie: It's easy, just go to the bank where you have a current account. I used my husband's current account with GTBank. You will fill the form A, then write a letter authorizating the bank to debit his account the amount you want to pay in CAD. Submit along with your admission letter, your certificate, your school fees invoice, and passport data page (all photocopies). I think in 3days, they will debit your account with the money. Also call your account officer to make it fast. When it's done the rexiot will be sent to your email, you can print it and keep whenever you need to show evidence of payment.
Hope this helps |

To renew it, I was told it has to be no more than 6month. And we know that study visa does not extend beyond passport expiration. Moreover, I need to start applying for my study visa already. Please what do I do. Thanks. if you find the right plug, you can renew that passport even now. |

EmeeNaka: they're not doing enough. There are many applicants waiting for Decision. It's not more than 2PPRS per day on average bro, I really don’t know why sometimes they delay to give PPR…my visa was approved on 25th June but I got PPR on 16th July….almost a month interval. There is a chance that a lot of visas have been approved already but PPR has not been issued. |
