Exactly...Ladies make it seem it is the Guys responsibility to make a convo flow. If he isn't doing that to your expectation why don't you do it. I have an online friend I met here on Nairaland, we chat on WhatsApp...and i noticed she sometimes bring up stuff just to strike a long convo and from there we go in to banters and stuff...The point is bpht parties have a role to play.

Hmmm...I think it's an expectation gap...which I think is what Laveda intend to address with this thread. Guys need to know what ladies want in a convo and Ladies need to know what is expected of them either. The point is WE ARE ALL MENTALLY LAZY...Seriously, that question shouldn't put you off. BY the time you tell me about yourself...naturally convo will arise from what we've both said about each other. We need to know how much we are alike and how farther we are in terms of likes, growing up and fantasies..It has to come up one way or the other.

Yea, exactly what I told someone now..what I do is to introduce myself first and then ask the lady to do same.

I just think the question is too broad, bland and boring. 3 b's. It gives me interview vibes where i feel like i need to sell myself to you by force. They're so many ways to get to know someone, that once you ask me that question, i'm mentally drawn out of the conversation. Men love the chase, the thrill of getting to know a mysterious lady but i personally feel they should be creative about it. Set yourself apart from all the typical and boring questions that every guy asks, you may be more successful. Just saying

Hmmm, maybe maybe not. The question is...how will there be a convo if both parties, that just met do not open up about themselves?. What I do now, is to tell you about myself and then ask you to do same.

Well it depends on what you want. If what you want as an individual is plenty money at the early stage of your career then the big four isn't a place for you. But if what you want is experience first and then "PLENTY" money later then it is the BEST place for you. So the choice is always the individual......
