Hmmm...what a smart and forward thinking guy you are. While your mates are thinking about sleeping with every lady on your campus, here you are thinking about how to graduate with distinctions. I was like this some 12 yrs ago you know. But if you wouldn't mind, I would want you to re-direct this zeal, positivity and hunger in to something else. Don't get me wrong, it is wonderful to graduate with a first class, I never did so I can imagine how wonderful it could be. But the world is changing, it has become a place for inventors and less of a place for academic. You need to be able to answer some questions before we proceed: 1. Why exactly do you wanna have first class ( if it is for self fulfillment only, like you stated then you need a rethink)? 2. Do you intend becoming a lecturer in future, if yes, then it is a good thinking? 3. What exactly do you see yourself doing after school(this question is key, because you have to start acquiring all the skills you'll need to fit in to your desired future)? I would advise you honestly answer those questions and start channeling your zeal, hunger and energy in to fitting in to what you want your future to look like. Do you intend to be a programmer, software expert or hardware guru? Now is the time to start acquiring those skills outside your formal setting. |
Oga Op, point of correction, they were beaten unclad.....see serious shishi |
what you people don't knownis that the water is flowing from the direction of the woman washin plate to the direction of the woman cleaning the baby. from time immemorial, the direction of the water determines how people position themselves to doing various things in it. |

when I initially managed to read the useless piece, I tot the only stupid person on this would be the Writer. But unfortunately, there seems to be many of sorts in here. When did it become the responsibility of the Senate to make an Acting President a President? Sometimes I do wish we can see the people behind many comments, I bet you see them all wrap up in pampers and being fed with cereal. They don't even know what the constitution of the Country looks like let alone of the content. GEJ remained calm and seem naïve throughout the period the Yaradua was sick but immediately he died and the expected process took it natural course, everybody new there was a new Sherif in town. Some fools here think the legislative arm is that important in Nation. Infact they are the least significant. All you need are the Judicial and Executive arm and all constitutional proceedings will take it rightful course. To the yeebos here opining several stupid things, is it not better to be an acting President rather than being a Igbo that will never, I mean never taste the seat of Presidency. You guys are life miserable already, hence the reason for the noise on Biafra, but watch it, the plan is to make it more miserable through your immaturity and lack of intelligence. |
MrMaestro:Chief, the proposed constitution is the genesis of this constitution but we all knownit isn't in anyway formal. many people have opined what they actuly, hence the reason for my submission. |
Dalek:Exactly the point I have been teying to make some folks here see...imagine someone saying Ooni will be like the Head of State....it's like some people think say n.a. home we say joke...putting cultural sentiments above progressive thinking is a recipe for failure even before word go. |
raumdeuter:Hmmm..you're taking a hardline bro! !! |
deedeedee1:please rephrase or correct your post, it is not clear. |
I don't think anyone's actually saying we have to shut out immigrants -- that's impractical anyway. But the point is that non-Yorubas that choose to settle in our midst must be willing to integrate and assimilate into our society, co-exist in harmony, and obey our laws. Just like the case of the Ibadan chief of Igbo descent you alluded to. That man has been practically Yorubanized, for all intents and purposes. There are many people like that same man already co-existing peacefully in our midst all over Yorubaland even today, and I don't believe anyone here would support deporting them without cause. It's the migrants with land-grabbing ambitions and who are intent on destabilizing and disrupting the cultural integrity of our region and our way of life that should rightly be viewed with suspicion. I.M.O, Yoruba Culture must supercede any other culture in Yorubaland -- we mustn't compromise with that else we'll be setting ourselves up for some serious problems in future. [/quot Hmmm well said, but wait lemme ask you, are you planning on creating a settlement or a Country?..... I think we should be careful about this Yoruba-tradition inclined nation some of you guys are trying to create here. As progressives we should be talking about a nation for all where the rights and privileges of everyone is allowed to flourish. No nation thrives on ethnic sentiment. |
CrescentMoon:chief I feel your pain and I sympathise with you. But you s houldn be pitied but celebrated. Get hold of yourself and go to Prayer city (after berger), you'll pray to God and he will take away whatever is troubling you.. Trust me crying or wailing won't take it away. At prayer city, no dime will be collected from you but deliverance prayer. May God help you brother |
lilyheaven:Lol...but I hope you'll summon the courage to seek medical assistance for sexual drive...Sex n good food strengthens a man's loyalty. |
Some days ago, I dreamt kissing my boyfriend all through the night. When I woke up I was worried . But I remembered I haven't been touched for the past four months. So I had to do the needful to prevent the dream from reoccurring. N I just did [/quote so what did you do, if I may ask? Self service? |
deedeedee1:Bros you have every right to disagree with me, don't forget seeing things in different perspective is the benefit of discussion. To your question on where I am from, you have started acting like our brothers from across the Niger, once anyone disagrees with them he isn't igbo. I am a full blooded Yoruba man. The only way to have a progressive country is to be open minded, you can't have a purely Yoruba nation, it is totally impossible. you can quote me. There are many inter-racial people amongst us, many people who were born n bred in the south west and have lived their life here, you can't possibly ask them to leave. Take for example, there is an Igbo chief in Ibadan, he is a title chief although not on the Crown lineage simply cos he does not have a family house. But the man is in his late sixties I think, was born in Ibadan but his parents are from the east. He's an Ibadan man, he's a well respected chief and part of the decision makers. His children by origin are Ibos but by birth are South Westerners, they don't even speak ibo . are you going to ask them to leave their birth place, ibadan? They claim to be from Ibadan Yoruba as a race, has thrived more than any other in Nigeria cos of our sense of inclusion, sense of acceptance, once loyalty is shown and allegiance is pledged. We will do better by that, I think. |
lilyheaven:Salute!!! |
lilyheaven:I hope you guys are still waxing stronger Doctor! |
Some inexperienced people here are advising you to go stay with her for sometime . Oga you won't notice poo I bet you. You remind me of my nigga like that during my service year, he was kpanshing this babe in his lodge. at a time the babes original guy decided to visit, so my guy just give the babe distance. it was difficult for the guy to suspect anything cos it was a lodge with many corpers; both male and female. Did you know that during the guys one week stay it was my guy that was taken the guy around town and all? At a time the guy for so comfy with my guy and started asking him about the behaviour of the girl. My guy told him he was one of the luckiest guy in the world to have such a babe, that many staff of the school have bn running after her but she kept telling everyone she had a fiance. My guy told the guy we all knew you before you came, cos she was always singing your name.... Meanwhile my guy had almost destroyed the babes p**sy...Chaii wherever Tope is, he can't make heaven walahi. |
lilyheaven:Madam I respect your narration up there and I respect you as a human being. Having said that I can categorically tell you that you were able to do that, if you aactually did for some reasons: 1. The guy was not in anyway attractive to you whatsoever, hence it was easy to reject is advanced. 2. The guy was dump and stupid with tactics he deployed, even if he wasn't attractive to you physically he could have use care, character and gentleman to get you. I know very well that the way we see people change overtime, that guy you felt wasn't attractive at first sight will start appearing attractive with time. 3. Madam, close proximity breeds feelings; either positive or negative...you can tailore it to suit yours. |
Weldone guys, what a thought provoking thread this is...I respect you guys views on having a country that is purely for Yoruba.. but the truth we have to tell ourselves is that we need to use the templates of successful countries around the world in building a new nation. ..example America is successful cos of its diversity. US govt for centuries have realised that creating a country on the basis of common interest devoid of ethnic or racial interest accelerates development. I so much believe we do not plan to have another useless state in Africa but one that will compete with the Asean tigers and European greats like Sweden and Norway in no distant future. in my opinion, I think it will be better if we create a country where any group of people that wants to be part is allowed to join irrespective of race, tribe or ethnicity....i am certainly certain that many people of igbo dissent will even prefer to be part of a country formed in Western Nigeria than Biafra. so for other tribes as well I believe ... Trust me a country of inclusion will better serve the Yoruba agenda than a country of exclusive Yorubas...A country that has a Yoruba man; who naturally is an administrator , strategist and a man of Igbo dissent who naturally is an industrialist will easily achieve greatness than a single one....what I am saying is that we should plan for a country for all willing parties and a constitution that gives everyone equal right and opportunities ofcourse with tested allegiance...some might say we are creating a mini Nigeria again...the truth is there is nothing wrong with Nigeria if not that the participants were not allowed to decide on their participation but forced to participate, hence the reason why we are here today. |
that's what he sells in Dubai. ...how you go travel go Dubai to sell fruit...are you mad? |
Hmmm...the cookers of poo have come again...what propaganda is doing in the problem of Nigeria no be small.....lubbish. |
it is so surprising that all comments here are all based on personal opinion rather than fact...the constitution of the Country is available for all to access, yet we choose to argue using personal views and sentiments. I had to go look up the Constitution in this, according to Section 69, nothing says INEC should verify each of the signature as opined by some people here, nothing in the Constitution says once one of the signature is forged, all other becomes null and void..... the two steps enumerated in the constitution are : 1. A signature of at least one-half of registered voters in the Senator's constituent shall be submitted to INEC with a petition that they have lost confidence in the Senator. 2. INEC upon receipt of the petition, shall conduct a referendum and by a simple majority, the petition shall be approved... please knowledgeable people of the constitution of the Country should comment. |
the reason why people attend church will help you to understand why they change church at one point or the other. I strongly believe that the church you attend is a reflection of your "NEEDS"; be it spiritual, financial , or even social needs. Unfortunately peoples needs do change over time, so when an individual's need changes and realises his present church can't meet the need, the person moves to a church "perceived" to be able to meet the need. For example, many youths would prefer to go to Christ Embassy, Day Star and a few Catholic church when their needs is about social class, personal pride and the likes. But if the individual start having spiritual challenges, he or she will run to Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, a church that teaches members how to fight and war with the enemy through prayers, faith and undiluted word of God...... gracias |
Nigerians are so gullible...so if I go to Apapa and stand beside arranged containers for pictures, I have bcome the owners of the container straight up...I know say one day he go cast!! kip enjoying for now. |
Lies Lies and Lies everywhere...we were served so many poos like this during the build up to the last election. All na lie |
My question is ...where are you banning him to? The second question is do you have any constitutional power to ban anybody? |
thesicilian:See sheer ignorance....just look at yourself. |
Imagining a friend zone situation is so sh**ty men!!!.....Cos how do you keep hanging on when you know that someone else is regularly shagging the babe you're hoping on? some guys are realllllllyyyyy mad!!!! The pain becomes worse when you chat her up and she's like "I'm with him, I'll be staying for the night"................lol, you're dead already. |
hardbody:My friend from across the Niger is here again with distorted history....Abiola ran away you say? will you guys ever speak the truth in your life time?..... Mr Man..what was Yoruba's connection with Biafra....Yoruba sold out? You people will continue to spread lies and live in pain. Was Yoruba part of your miserable Biafra....Your stupid Ojukwu who lacked foresight and vision called for a war Igbos were not financially, militarily, strategically and economically ready. He sacrificed millions of your fathers kinsmen for no just reason and yo are here spewing rubbish. He cam back a hero you say? ......you must be suffering from congenial deformities....Ojukwu that begged and sent many pleas to Shagari before he was pardoned..He was pardoned as a repentant tyrant......he is no definition of a hero...you can google and see how some of yor kinsemen (the few reasonable ones have castigated Ojukwu).... You said Abiola's people abandoned him?.................you definitely inherited lies ffrom your fathers...so it was your kinsmen that were running Radio Kudirat and Nadeco? You and your unreasonable lots on this site can spread all the lies you want, the truth is known, which are: 1. Yorubas stopped Biafra soldiers at Ore via a thorough defeat of deluded men and boys who had no sense. 2. Yorubas led the military army that went in to the inner houses of yeebos in the east and gave them the beating of their life during the civil war cos they lacked sense. IN THE SCHEME OF THINGS IN NIGERIA; YORUBAS ARE NOT YEEBOS MATE.......YEEBOS ARE IRRELEVANT, your lots will continue to be second class citizen and if you try to secede, you know what your fate will be.........unfortunate children of hate and pain. You caused the distortion of the Nigerian political system through that unfortunate military coup of 1966 and for centuries to come you will pay for it. |
softwerk:Look at you.....so calling their bluff to you is a suicide mission. okay I hear you, but I know very soon you will still come here and say Yorubas are cowards...Yet only Yoruba man has ever called the bluff of the military and stood his groumd. The first person(Ojukwu) that tried it ran with his head in between his legs.....lol Chest beaters !!! |
