Maestro21: You lot are funny but it is allowed. If you know the person you are talking about, you would get his messages and give them to your pastor. The revelations from him don’t seem ordinary. He talks like one who hears directly from God.
You say he hates Fasting and Prayer but you lied. Only last month for most of the month of February We were praying and fasting. We also do it every first Sunday of a new month.
Since I am in the mood, let me also correct some of your false teachings. We are not told anywhere to fast and pray. All over the Bible, the apostles of Jesus always PRAYED and fasted.
Do you see the order? It is the praying that you would be doing that would cause you to fast. Any other order na just pure hunger strike.
The second false teaching; that we fast to make power available. That is a false teaching. Power for service already came when Jesus gave us the “great commission”. What prayer and fasting does is it sets you attune to the leading of God. It raises your spiritual atenna if you please.
If you see people getting things done more when they pray and fast it is for that very fact not that power was missing. That is why the Holy Spirit told them to separate Paul and Barnabas at some point, yet just earlier they had selected Matthias (who may have not been Gods choice). Lol......God will deliver us all from false teachings... |

Johncuppa: Bros, I'm paying for it now. I could have handled the case successfully but I was believing what my denomination believe even when I was told to deal with it. Now, I have to pay higher price to get rid of it. I think deliverance have to do with personal experience, those who never had the experience, find it difficult to believe those occurrences. Do you know someone who understand this topic? I need complete knowledge of it. A lot of Christians are suffering but are not speaking out. I want to undertake "understanding Spiritual warfare " It's a pity,it was not included in WOFBI curriculum Brother, God would deliver you IJN. I know what it is not by reading about it but from experience....being fed in the dream by agents of darkness is an indication of spiritual weakness. It is a pointer that the person (if Christian) has no fire of God in him....The bible says, when my people slept, the enemy came and sowed tares and went his ways....it is one of the ways of witchcraft.....the solution is deliverance.... But note that the type of deliverance the person will do, would be dependent on how long the person has been eating in the dream. If it's been long, that means stronghold and covenants have been built...then the person needs special deliverance... But if its still at an infantile stage, say it is still ocurring once in a while...then a general deliverance would do.... Like a lady said up there, we can not all agree on this because we are different and to add to that, we all come from different background and families. Some people do not have battles to fight maybe cos their fathers have fought and won while some are expected to be the pathfinders for their families...one should know where he belongs and act accordingly. ......... Any form of eating in the dream that is from the devil should be fought through : 1. Faith displayed by confessions of bible verses to counter the intent of the enemy. 2. Prayers and Fasting....3. Seeking and acquiring Spiritual power through genuine infilling of the Holy spirit evidenced by speaking in tongues. Even Jesus said: this type won't go except through Prayer and Fasting.....he never said just have faith it has gone....naaaa..no matter how the merchant of faith tries..they can't substitute the place of prayer and Fasting especially in the things of the spirit. |

However, know this, Pastor Chris and his Pastors know the truth. They know it. But they don't want to be bothered with things such as praying for Christian that are under demonic and witchcraft afflictions because it's a lot of work. The work can only be done through constant fasting and praying. And Christ Embassy Pastors don't like that at all at all. They just wanna swagger and sweet talk, look smooth and suave in their designer suits. Wow!.....Men of God indeed....how can you be in the work of God and hate fasting and prayer, like seriously? People should stop attacking personalities but face issues squarely. Are you saying that those points raised are not valid, trance or no trance, dream or no dream? I'm sorry Bros if I attacked his personality, I tender my unreserved apology. But my point is, his standpoint isn't accurate. There's a difference btw eating in the dream and having a vision telling you to cook something to eat....I'm saying this cos I have a first-hand experience of the 'subject-matter' bn discussed. It was this type of teaching that made me ignore it when it started until it became a serious issue......Pls if you see anyone that it is eating in the dream, tell the person to run and look for solution, it could be deadly. As for the bible verse he quoted, pls open Acts 10 yourself and read it. His interpretation isn't accurate...... The bible says "my people perish for lack of knowledge" We need a spiritual understanding of the devices of the enemy so we can stop the enemy from winning against us.....it is not a case of wishing it off...it is a case of having knowledge of the problem and the solution to it. I wish I could share my experience. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Eating In The Dream – Pastor Chris Oyakhilome by Intrepid01(m): 3:31pm On Mar 02, 2018 |
colp2015: Pastor Chrisis is misleading millions of ignorant Christian youths with his perverted and uninformed interpretation of the Bible.
First, let me say this: the Lord Jesus is aware of destruction that satan and his demon slaves and human agents are capable of; hence the Lord promises that if believers should eat or drink any poisonous thing, they shall not be harmed by it. This truth underscores the fact that humans can be harmed by eating, either in the physical or via dreams.
There is no reference in the Bible where God fed anyone in his or her dream. Pastor Chris is not thorough in his exposition primarily because he does little of meditation, but relies on concordance. The effect of his erroneous teaching plays out in falsehood as evidenced by the life of many of his followers. Their confessions and affirmations are not translating into realities.
What is Wrong With Eating in the Dream?
Before I state the effects of eating in dreams, I wish to draw the attention of believers to an interesting observation about satan..
In the book of Genesis, the Bible presents satan as a serpent, but in the book of Revelation satan is revealed as a dragon with seven heads and ten horns. A serpent is no match for a fire, even water, spitting dragon. The implication and the message therein is that satan is getting more vicious and sophisticated. Satan is becoming a dangerous being that humans cannot match in wits, tricks and operations.
The Lord Jesus knew this and thus remarked that there were yet many things to teach His followers...but when the Holy Spirit comes, He would guide us into all truth.
There are many aspects of spiritual life, especially wafare, that the Bible says nothing about.
For example, the Bible does not tell us the implication of having sex in a dream. We are not told about eating in dreams, or what it means to fight animals - reptiles, dogs, etc. There is no where the Bible mentions the effects of seeing and pickiing snails in a dream. All these activities are satanic operations against humans to achieve certain goals.
However, the Bible tells us that satan is getting more sophisticated every day. Years ago, no one knew how to combine the name of Jesus with satanic powers to heal sicknesses and diseases as evidenced by the practice of human agents in shamanism. But now, such practice is common place.
The Body Of Christ as a whole owes the Holy Spirit much gratitude for arresting human agents of darkness who confess and reveal their practices against mankind. Without the confessions of these ex-occultists, many believers would still be stuck in their minds, pushing intellectualism.
So what are the ills of eating in dreams?
1. Human agents of darkness use the craft to afflict their victims with sickness.
2. Eating in dreams can be used to plant depression and discouragement to make their targets prayerless.
3. Sorcerers can drown their targets in the sea of near success syndrome. They usually do this when something good is coming to the oerson.
4. Eating in dreams can be used to initiate humans into withcraft. This class of witches are known as 'blind witch.'
5. Generally, eating in dreams is used to pollute believers and thus disqualify them for spiritual promotion. But this rarely works against the saints who are prayerful, because believers are not defiled by eating.
But careless and worldly believers are mostly affected by this craft. This plays out when the believer stops reading the Bible, stops relating with other believers, and inability to fast or stay true to his/her resolutions.
In conclusion, eating in dreams is bad. If the believer cannot reject foods in his/her dreams, it is an indication of a weak and fireless spiritual life. My God who dwelleth in Zion will bless you richly for this comment. I feel terrible reading that position of Pastor Chris, it is so flawed and incorrect. But I feel worse for some gullible people here who would be misled by this wrong teaching. ... Bros, I have experience in eating in the dream, I know what it is and the effect in the life of a human being. The Pastor did not even note that Peter was hungry before falling in to trance. The demonic eating in the dream we are talking about has got nothing to do with whether you ate before sleeping or not. If you like eat till you drop asleep. Truly, My people perish for lack of knowledge.....I know when the coast is clear by God's grace I'll document my 10 years experience of eating in the dream, maybe it would help someone one day.... That Pastor needs serious training in the things of the spirit. His answer was so ordinary with no spiritual knowledge. .....'ll stop here |

Yea true....but the Nigerian definition of Feminism is the ability of a lady to initiate confrontation, exhibit over-confidence and show huge disrespect on every subject matter of discourse with a Man....just for self satisfaction, thinking antagonism is tantamount to Independence. onlyme07: I don't subcribe to your submission with lots of reasons.
First, presently in Nigeria, the labour market is saturated with Bsc from all corners and in order to have an edge, you need to proof you're still learning which Masters can do.
Secondly, some Universities in the labour market are not well recognised, hence some applications not attended to. I have witnessed tbis a number of times. The moment your Uni is not UI,Lag,Convenant,Babcock,Afe and the likes, you can only proove your worth with a second degree from all any of these Ivy universities.
Thirdly, very soon, Bsc will turn to SSCE since you can obtain it,if you have money but Masters Cert o)is a little bit difficult to buy (not saying you can't buy it) because all those Drs and Profs will make it difficult.
Furthermore,it takes the grace of God to combine Masters and work together especially if you work in a private coy. You should go for your Masters the moment you grad,it will show your employer you will require to leave office and attend classes.
Finally,go for your Mastes if you intend going into academics. It is the best edge over others.
I have lots but let me stop here and advise those who intend doing their Masters . Make hay while the sun shine. Bros, your points are so flawed....since have been working for like 8 yrs now...inhave never seen anybody asking for Masters degree as an added advantage...even if it was obtained from abroad....you can ask experienced people around...so going for Masters does not in anyway boost your chances at all..intact it reduces it. You also said some universities are not recognised at all, maybe those universities are not accredited by N.U.C....the moment you have a university degree with a minimum of second class upper you have a good chance , like others to get a job. I do tell people that to increase your chance of getting a job in Nigeria, just go to a university and graduate with 2:1, the course of study does not matter and you'll get a job. With your third point, I can safely conclude that you are one of those carrying masters around thinking it gives you an edge...go and ask, it doesn't in anyway....you said B.Sc. will be like WAEC, for real? do you even know the basic qualification for getting a job anywhere in the world?.....you are simply a joker. |

Thanks for your feedback on this topic. The biggest problems we get in life come from the younger generation who may not have paid attention to the history of their parents... and end up making the same mistakes that their grandparents or great-grandparents made.
But just as you have said, the Japanese teach their pre-WWII and post-WWII histories in schools and via national monuments, so the their elite and politicians have learned a big lesson from the horrendous nuclear strikes on Japan!
