Thank you so much. I would appreciate any contact for this. I sent you a private message. Kankanio: Thank you.
Sole guardianship is a document which allows one parent (single parent) who has sole custody of a child to travel with him/her with no recourse to the other parent.
The document can be gotten from the High Court. |

Oh! my! God! I’m in utter disbelief !!!! Thank you so much, I’m still shaking reading your message. Someone just told me and I took the next availability bike to nairaland because it’s not April else I would have dismissed it as April fool. God bless, protect and reward you immensely and may your pocket continually over flow with abundance. You are the best Joseph and may you always find help when you need it. Will reach out to either and let you know. Kind Regards ! JosephYemsol: I'm rooting for you. Please contact justmellow and/or frankrobbn.. I believe they will assist you as they've had lots of testimonies on similar rejection cases.
Your words touched me... If you don't mind, contact me. I'm willing to pay for the charges of whosoever (justmellow/frankrobbn) you have chosen to assist u in your reapplication. This is my little way of support

The only family member I have in Canada just went in April and is actively studying. In Nigeria I’m leaving behind family 2 kids, my widowed mother, A property.. Purpose of visit I’m a Health Care practitioner and a manager in an Eye clinic going for Post Graduate Baccalaureate in Health Care Management. Where did I wrong these people? Stephblues: Oh dear, this is sad. Sorry about your refusal. To refire, you will need to order another gcms notes to understand their final assessment. I watched a former visa officer talk about the Canadian ties, she mentioned if you have jumpers in your family, it might affect your application. By jumpers she meant people who travelled for one purpose and went on to do something else. That even if they are now legalized, it might still affect. If that’s not your case, you can tackle it head on. |

Coincidentally @EmeeNaka and I got correspondence this Friday and refusal on Sunday, we both submitted on the 30th of April, with same refusal reasons, obviously same visa officer. Now tell me why I should not be mad, you put everyone in a box and issue same refusal reason, I feel cheated, robbed and unjustly treated honestly. This is more painful than I thought, actually woke up again to cry it’s 2:20am. Any suggestion on how to tackle this will really help... |

Dont’ loose hope! Judicial review will fix this First I heard you mention my husband, but the notes says male? Is there a mix up, Secondly did you provide a salary statement ? This will be a quick approval soon, just make sure your admission remains valid while fixing this. You will soon laugh don’t worry RollyA: Personal Assets & Financial Status
My first preassessment notes were vague, in fact i still don't understand it till today as attached.
I did a lot of things differently despite that in this second application:
I paid 28k out of 33k of my tuition through my mum, she gave me 7m which i immediately used to pay 20k cad (in my first application i paid only 7k) I showed 10.3m in bank account (MBS) (my sponsor gave me 6m since last year Nov and still standing in my account, balance of 4m was my savings) (funds were still intact) i had mutual funds of 1.4m (since first application) I had 2.4m in pension ( got a letter from PFA 25% is immediately accessible) also since my first application i attached gift deeds for both my uncle and the new funds my mum gave me My uncle showed over 18m in his bank plus introduction letter showing his net worth My mum attached a retirement letter and stated that she had funds from her 32 years of working, she also had a balance of 4m left to show she will be fine I included study leave and evidence I got a promotion last year and commendation for stepping in an acting position as MD. My husbands business docs, showed also 2.3m in his account, he had 2m as fixed deposit (same with first application) I attached his land docs and added the survey in the second application i bought shares almost 500K to establish assets (new)
I have ordered for my first and second notes, maybe I should have ordered final notes from my first application because i used preassessment notes while my application was still in progress to apply.
I am numb, I am sad, I feel like all my efforts were in vain.
I had ordered my notes last month to see what was happening and they are only due tomorrow, i guess they dished out the refusal today so i wouldnt have time to ammend. |

Thanks Dear, This is clear enough lawfree638: Hi Iphiegrace,
Good evening. Qualification for PGWP is at least 8 months in total duration.
Also, your bolded statement is very correct. You need a serious convincing LOE in your PGWP application as to why the change. If not, V.Os will flag it as an inconsistency in your application. Your Yes is not yes, No is not No! (Defeating your initial study permit plan of studies).
Please see below for major reasons why PGWP is refused after studies - I have seen a few in Canadian forum discussions groups. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Iphiegrace(f): 6:51pm On Aug 08, 2021 |
Sorry please what has changing DLI got to do with PGWP? Does studying the full duration of the course not qualify one for PGWP. Most people change DLI from inside Canada as long as they inform IRCC, and are enrolled and studying before changing. Please correct me, if I’m wrong... lawfree638: For reapplication, all document submitted for a new application applies. Exact same process. The difference is the TAT in completion on processing.
Changing DLI is the number one reason why PGWP is usually not always granted. Those V.O likes consistency. |

Congratulations Dear I tap into this testimony #April30Applicant Teenie19: Dear Nairaland family,
It has finally dropped ooooo! Glory be to God Almighty!!!!
Sister's application AOR: Feb 11 2021 Program: Practical nursing May 2021 (Sheridan college)- clearly can't go for May 2021 anymore due to delay, will go for Jan 2022 session! Upfront medical : April 28, 2021 ( we said let's do medical to see if it will speed things up, lol jokes) Medical passed: June 14, 2021 (just see how long it took them to update medical!) Eligibility started: July 23, 2021 PPR and correspondence letter: this morning July 27th @ 4:34am!
What a wait! Basically this application took 5 months and 16 days. I remember I considered withdrawing the application at some point, but you all encouraged me to hold on! During this waiting period, 3 gcms notes were ordered and the fourth one has been ordered as well. All the gcms notes received didn't have much info as eligibility was blank. Each time I got the gcms notes, I was always disappointed that eligibility was blank. Now that I think of it, I guess it's not a bad thing...
I just want to use this medium to thank everyone for their support through out this journey! This is a wonderful platform and we all draw strength and hope from one another! One thing that helped me during the long wait was seeing other people's approval postings. I was always encouraged by those success stories. I remember telling myself that my testimony was near when DD097 and demure got approved as we all applied around the same time and faced this delay..
In short, this is a wonderful platform and I hope more people get to know about the wonderful support we have here! Thanks to all the gurus and everyone that tries to assist others with their questions! If you have any questions for me , please feel free to ask here so others can learn from it ! I'm rooting for all my co- February applicants and any one with a delayed application and of course everyone on here , that you will all get a favourable response soon in Jesus name!
Cheers to more success stories ! |

Thank you so much.. On it now kunbeeee: Both paper based and computer based tests are the same (I.e same type of questions). The only difference is the way the tests are administered. So for computer based, the reading, listening and writing tests will be administered on the computer. Each test will be timed and will be automatically submitted when the alotted time is exhausted. Then the next section will be given to you. For the listening test, you will be given headsets. The writing will also be typed in the space provided on the computer.
I suggest you check youtube and also take some practice computer based test to get yourself familiar with it. |

I have seen a refusal that resubmitted after 2 weeks and got an approval within a month.
