OLUSOLA BABARINSA 12 JUN 2017 Eniola Akinkuotu, Abuja The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has said it stormed the head office of The SUN newspaper as part of routine efforts to ascertain the state of the assets of the publishing company which is subject of subsisting interim forfeiture order. The EFCC said this in a statement by its spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, on Monday. The commission, therefore, denied allegations that it stormed the media company because the acting Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, was fighting the newspaper over a March publication accusing him of corruption. The anti-graft agency said in the course of its prosecution of The SUN publisher, Orji Uzor Kalu, it had obtained an asset forfeiture order which has since been appealed by the company. The statement read in part, “Operatives of the EFCC in the early hours of June 12, 2017, visited the head office of the Sun Newspaper in Lagos. The visit which lasted for less an hour was part of routine efforts to ascertain the state of the assets of the publishing company which is subject of subsisting interim forfeiture order. “Prior to the visit, the commission had written to the management of the company to account for its management of the assets for the period of the subsisting court order. “The commission still awaits the response of The SUN and will not be distracted by any attempt to whip up sentiments by alluding to an appeal which has been pending for ten years. The commission’s action is without prejudice to any appeal and only meant to verify the integrity of the assets.” The EFCC denied allegations that it harassed and molested staff of the newspaper. It further denied reports that some of its operatives accused the newspaper of promoting pro-Biafra and pro-Niger-Delta militants in its publications. The statement added, “Contrary to claims in a statement released to the media by the management of The SUN, no employee of the media outfit was molested or intimidated for the few minutes that operatives of the commission spent in the premises of the company. “The claim that ‘EFCC operatives subjected our staff to crude intimidation, psychological and emotional trauma, even as some of the men accused our organisation of publishing pro-Biafra, Boko Haram, and Niger Delta Militant stories,’ is strange and clearly the figment of the imagination of the Sun.” The commission said Magu was taking legal action against The SUN in his private capacity and he would not abuse his power by using the anti-graft agency to settle personal scores. “There was no reason to molest anybody as the commission has always related professionally with the publishing outfit. The attempt also to link the visit to the acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu’s, threat to sue the organisation over a libellous publication is also diversionary. “Magu is pursuing that option in his private capacity and his lawyer, Wahab Shittu, did write The SUN and his letter was widely published in the media on March 31, 2017.” http://punchng.com/why-we-stormed-the-sun-newspaper-efcc/amp/

1. When he comes home, unbutton his shirt while caressing his chest, his abs, 2. Dress each other too, e.g. when she is dressing up offer to dress her playfully too. 3. When s/he least excepts, give a sudden kiss on the cheek, or neck. 4. During the night when you go to bed, and it is cold, when you find him/her uncovered, cover him/her and give him/her a tender kiss on the cheeks or lips. She/he will feel it in the dream. 5. Old is GOLD. Despite digital life, go analog at times e.g. drop a love note where she/he will see it. Write a simple love letter and place it under the pillow for her to see during the day, or him to see when he returns. 6. Take photos together as often as possible, and have a library of photos of your best moments together. Memories are made this way. 7. Mimic each other while talking, so how you will giggle and laugh at each other for that simple sheer fun. 8. Pat each other as often as you can e.g. when she is passing by, pat her butt, when he is passing by, pat his back. 9. Chase each other around the house, even if its one room, you can still do it e.g. when he wants to take something from you, let him come for it from you playfully. 10. “fight” with pillows, even if its just a few seconds fight. Throw each other pillows on bed. 11. Wrestle each other, compete who is “stronger” (I know men are, but hey, just let her subdue you to bed and let her ‘win’) 12. Draw characters on each other’s back, when s/he least expects. 13. Blow his/her neck from behind when s/he least expects. Watch the reaction. Generally, romance is a lifestyle. You need not do all this in a single day, you need not even set time for romance; just learn it. I wonder people keep asking me, “Where will I get all this time?” YET most get time to scroll their husbands phones for hours looking for nonexistent illicit affair, or spend hours betting for money he will never win! Prioritize each other’s love. |
enilove:Does it mean Adam 'begat' all other sons and daughters before Cain got married ? |
mrvitalis:it is obvious that you are confussed |
Question: When Adam and Eve gave birth to Cain and Abel, as at that time there were only four people on earth i.e (Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel). b Bible said, Cain killed Abel n was cursed by God, leaving only three people on earth i.e (Adam, Eve, Cain). But according to the bible, Cain traveled to a town called Nod and married n gave birth to children with her. My question is, which other human did Cain marry since Adam and Eve were the only people created by God! Was there another creation that we were not told about ?BACK IT UP WITH BIBLE REVERENCE. Please I need your answer. |

An Eastern group, Igbo Youth Movement, IYM, has made a pronouncement that Ndigbo are not afraid of war, which is a reply it is given to an eviction threat by a northern youth group ordering all Igbos to vacate the north in three months or face physical attacks. A statement allegedly issued by the Eastern group’s founder, Evang. Elliot Ugochukwu-Uko, described the eviction order by the Coalition of Northern Youths, CNY, as “childish,” stressing that people of the South East are not afraid of war. Evangelis Ugochukwu noted that rather than issue such threat, the group should write to the National Assembly and other world body to “urgently” conduct referendum so as to secure the future of the country. “The statement from a hitherto unknown northern group is primed to deliver a message to the whole world that some people prefer bloodshed to peaceful restructuring of Nigeria. “The non-existent group merely represents an attempt by the sectional security apparatchiks to intimidate the struggle to reconstruct Nigeria, in their blind and unintelligent attempt to sustain the clearly unworkable status quo. “If they were serious, they would have addressed the FG to grant Biafra freedom to secede, but they are childishly targeting Igbo property in the North, without advancing total complete split of the country. “Igbo property in the North have always been used to blackmailing our people, while the mindless oppression continues. We therefore plead with this unknown group to write to the National Assembly, northern leaders and the United Nations, to as a matter of urgency, grant a referendum on the future of Nigeria. That way, everybody will take them serious. “Targeting our properties in the North do not frighten anybody, we are used to that. We beg them to amend their childish statement to demand for an early referendum. That would make more sense. Our people are living in hell already. We are not scared of war mongering, Referendum is the way to go.” http://www.lavivaafrica.com/2017/06/were-not-afraid-of-war-igbo-youths-to.html

Some think it's a get rich quick thing. Those that succeeded blogging had put a lot of hard work for many years before the success story.
