The Spirit himself testify with our spirit that we are God's children.

When your desire is to see the kingdom of God establish on earth.... it's a sign you love him.

If it pleases you to do the will of the father always, through witnessing and evangelizing, it's a sign that you love God.

If your desire is to serve him and to be in his presence always, it's a sign that you love God.

If you feel sorry for your sins and errors and you are remorseful just to settle with him. It's a sign you love him.

Your love for God should not be conditioned to location or circumstance.

I asked a friend that traveled abroad when he told me about the decline in his spiritual life.

"Or is it that they don't allow you pray over there? Tell me."

The abroad guy responded, "No, it is not so. You are allowed to pray here.

But when you get here you will realize that a lot of things that we perceive to be spiritual are not.

They are a product of failures, from government and ourselves.

You will meet a system and an ideology that will challenge your previous beliefs.

Imagine that here, you don't pray to fill gas, own a house, a car, go to school or have your children attend one of the best schools.

But in Nigeria, sometimes you even pray to have your three square meal per day."

"The thing tire me." I replied.

Then he continued, "You don't even pray to get a job.

There are agencies saddled with that responsibility and they do their best to get you a job in 2 months.

And once you get that job your life becomes a product of leverage, the one we acknowledge as grace in Nigeria.

But this grace doesn't come from above, it comes from the government.

Your child can even go to university and graduate without paying a dime.

As the child begins to work, the government will gradually deducts his fees from his salary in a way that it won't even affect the child.

Under such atmosphere, if it's you, you will change and behave like me.

You won't even suspect your uncles, you will know they have no hand in your failure or success.

I don't suspect my uncle's anymore. Infact, I even call them on phone now.

We are closer than before. Life is really a mystery.

A traveller is wiser than a gray-haired man.

But I will advise you, you know the government we have, do your best and come to this place.

You will thank God you did."

At this instance, I was weak. " So our government had made us to hate our uncles like this when we should have loved them.

Oh! As I have become an uncle now, tomorrow my nephews and nieces will hate me thinking that I'm responsible for their failures.

When I'm innocent. God forbid! Some of our uncles may be dying in silence of their innocency.

God will help them.

So, our government made us pray about every issue of life no matter how small and jump from one prayer house to another.

It shall not be well with them." I concluded.

I was in deep thinking of what to do.

"Should we all leave this country and runaway? No, all of us aren't meant to travel overseas." I muttered those words.

If you suddenly loose your fellowship and relationship with God because you traveled to the west, then you never really loved God.
Seeking God should not to predicated on certain conditions. This has been my burden.

Uterine fibroids are common solid tumors in women. Estimates of the prevalence of uterine fibroids vary. They range from conservative estimates of 30-50% of women around the time of menopause to more than 80% of African-American women by age 50. It is crazy how few people asked why uterine fibroids are more common in Black women.

Fibroids result from an overgrowth of muscle cells in the uterus. Most are harmless. Approximately one-third of uterine fibroids become symptomatic.


Hair relaxers contain hormonally active and carcinogenic compounds, such as phthalates, known to cause endocrine disruption, are not listed separately as ingredients but, instead, are often broadly lumped into the “fragrance” or “perfume” categories.

Phthalates are particularly harmful to the human body because they are endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs). The endocrine system is involved in the production and circulation of hormones such as estrogen. EDCs interfere with the normal activity of the endocrine system. EDCs disrupt the endocrine system and interfere with the body’s hormonal homeostasis in various ways.
This study looked at health records from over 23,000 pre-menopausal African American women from 1997 to 2009. The study results clearly showed that women who regularly used chemical hair relaxers (particularly beginning at an early age) displayed a significantly increased risk of developing uterine fibroids compared to those who did not use relaxer.

You see, I once had a friend back in my university days. He told me about a conversation between himself and his dad who was living abroad that time.

Dad: Ola, you know what, there are lots of things I could have done in this country to make money but I can't do it because of you and your sister. I have seen how people make fast money.

I understand that whatever I do would have consequences and you and your sister will reap of these consequences.

This taught my friend a great lesson and he stopped puting his dad under pressure for money.

Few years later, before we went for our NYSC Ola won US visa lottery. Today he is a Pastor in the US and he is doing very well by God's grace.

We all know our leaders have failed us. But our youths that are into cyber crime and its accompanied fetish practices are only incurring courses on themselves and their children unborn.

Please quit crime, work hard and trust in God. All will be well.

We all thought it was all over. Her chances and hopes of ever reproducing must have been over when she reached 50 years old. She must have accepted her fate. But alas, God had different plans instore for her.

My aunt gave birth to a bouncing, beautiful baby girl last week. Surprisingly, at the age of 57!

I use this testimony as a point of contact for a couple with this age rage. May God surprise them soon.

This should be a project for poverty alleviation. An average Nigerian home can not buy a full bag of rice.

I really pray Obi wins and when he wins, I also pray his administration will not be sabotaged by the greedy politicians.
