Crime / Re: PrettyMaa: How I Was Raped At Age Of 8 by Irore: 4:35pm On Nov 27, 2019
mercyefe200:
A Nigerian lady @PrettyMaa_ has taken to social media to recount how she was raped by her neighbour at the age of 8.

According to the young lady, even after she told her mom, her mom never believed her.

Read her story below;

She wrote “You see that picture I was approaching 8 and guess what I already knew what sex was. I grew up in Warri, back of old airport behind winners chapel church.. one of all those computers with 30 tenants, one toilet and bathroom, the building was standing because of God. I was chubby liked by everyone in the compound. They usually call me nyenye that’s like the nickname of my native name “nyenrhovwo”.

“We had this neighbour next to ours, an elderly woman with 8 boys, she fries groundnut so after school I walk to her backyard to help her fry and eat small. One of her sons “samy” was my fav, always buying me biscuits and gifts. If my mum is not around he stays with me and all. Till this very day , I got back from school as usual went to mama’s house to fry groundnut but no one was home except samy well as uncle things I stayed. That was how he carried me on his bed and started touching me. He closed my mouth so I won’t scream loud.

“That was how my favorite uncle raped me after he was done he cleaned me up thoroughly and took me home. After some weeks I tried telling my mum , do you know my mum assumed i was lying? Because she felt it couldn’t be true. That was when my life started. I had to heal up bruises on my own and the thoughts on my own.

“I started developing trust issues, till date my trust issue is bad my previous relationships always end up because I can’t seem to trust a man. We eventually left there to another place that was when i went A wire. I became stubborn ehn as in stubborn. I felt i could do things on my own, i joined the wrong friends. My parents felt then I was possessed or something because i lost control. They did all they could but i was far gone so they left me to my fate. At age 13,14 i leave my parents house without them knowing about my whereabouts for weeks, months to stay in my friends houses.

“Good thing i was still going to school. You see bad friends forget it.. They were wayward so they didn’t advise me to have sense so i was foolish like them so when i was around 14 going 15. My mum had a liquor shop in warri then so she had this particular ijaw man coming to buy things. Well i knew him very well.

“So on that day after school ,i just got out of the school gate and he drove pass and he stopped and offered to take me home which i innocently entered i just thought after all he’s my mum’s customer let me save my tp fare. That was how he got to one house and said he wanted to quickly drop some things in that house and that i should assist him carry some load. I joined him and we carried the things into the house, lo and behold this man locked the door and asked me to strip.

“For a min i was dumbfounded till a blow hit me ,he was like if i dont do as he says he was going to kill me. He was serious because he brought out a knife. I tried to struggle with him in the process he stabbed me pretty close to ny chest,on my left breast that’s y i hv a scar there looking like a tattoo but i tell people it was an operation to avoid long stories. He succeeded, cleaned me up and dropped me half way on the road.

“I got home no one was home i quickly cleaned up so my parents wont notice a thing because i had no intentions of telling them after all the first one happened they didnt believe its now this one? I just decided to keep it to myself. Weeks after my body changes, mumsu noticed i was having awful discharge immediately she took me to the hospital and result came i had a terrible infection. Doctors had to do a vaginal operation. My life then was in a mess but i always wore a smile. Back to back injections, treatment my hands and butt saw shege that period. I finally opened up to my parents ,but by then the man had packed out.

“These experiences created a mental and emotional damage to me. I started life quite early and i learnt my lessons in a very hard way. I had an ex i had the courage to tell my rape experience to,he laughed and told me i was lying, because of this ehn i started some of my past relationships with lies because i felt what was the point of being real when he wont believe me. Those so called friends even ganged up to kill me then because of envy. My rape experience affected my sexual life i rarely hv orgasm during sex, my insecurities became immeasurably high.. then i was strong,my heart was like a rock, you cant fight me oh.

“My growing up wasnt fun at all. I didn’t get to experience those sweet childhood memories because i became an adult at a minor age. No one helped me retrace my steps,God did. We all hv stories to tell in one way or the other. How you make your bed is how you will definitely sleep on it. All these pain formed into anger because i was forced to heal up the hard way.

“Sometimes when i get angry its a different version of me u dont want to see, before i couldnt control it, gradually i started managing my anger issues. It’s dead but its still in me so if you pish me to my limit it will erupt . Sometimes anything that will trouble my peace ,i try to avoid it , i either keep calm or walk away but if you push it well . So thank you for reading…. i hope you learnt from my story .

Be the best version of yourself”

Politics / Re: Atiku Returns To Nigeria After Spending 7 Months In UAE by Irore: 4:54pm On Nov 25, 2019
Ebullience:
By Saawua Terzungwe

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23, 2019 poll, Atiku Abubakar, has returned to Nigeria after spending about seven months in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Credible sources close to Atiku confirmed to our correspondent that Atiku returned in the early hours of Monday.

Atiku, a former Vice President, who jetted out of the country since April, remained in the UAE over alleged plot by the current government “to give him the Abiola kind of treatment.”

Details later…

Abiola kind of treatment indeed. Not when it has to do with north north in a democratic setting. Gullible southerners.

Is it formally acceptable to introduce oneself as Mrs or Miss something when requested?

I have heard some women introducing themselves saying I'm "Mrs this or Miss that" in a formal work place. Is it correct or not to put such titles when introducing oneself?

Any married woman who introduces herself just as A or B is either ignorant or not satisfied with her husband and has her eye for the next available.

Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Is Extremely Stingy. Should I Be Worried? by Irore: 2:25pm On Nov 25, 2019
user283:
There's this lady I've been dating for two years now. We happen to be members of the same church and I ought to have taken the relationship to the next level by getting my parents to her place for our introduction last month but I had a rethink and postponed our introduction due to an issue that might cause problem in the future

I noticed my girlfriend is the stingy type. When I mean stingy, it's on the high side. Assuming she's just averagely stingy I wouldn't really be bothered but this is gross.

I work as a bank teller (contract staff) and my salary isn't really much while she works in Shoprite. Even from the little I earn, I'm always sensitive to her needs and I tip her whether she's stranded or not since I love her but how can I explain being with a lady for two solid years and I've never for once received any gift no matter how little it is? Not even something as little as toothbrush or hair cream

Initially, I didn't see this as a big deal probably because I grew up with the mentality that it's a taboo for a man to expect gifts or little support from his girlfriend when he's in dire need
but I've now grown to realize that "give and take" is one of the key elements of a good relationship

Even if I get stranded or go into debt, my girlfriend acts nonchalant and she'll be the
last person that will ever render a little financial assistance to help my situation. You might say I should sit her down and discuss about it. Yes I've already done that and I made her understand that I actually postponed our introduction for no other reason but because I'm still indecisive if I want to spend the rest of my life with a selfish woman but her response shows she takes pride in being stingy

I even used logic to whine her younger brother recently just to be sure if she's stingy to me alone but the boy confirmed it that her sister is very stingy. I decided to carry out my findings on her brother because I believe he should know her better.

You might want to talk about sex but my belief is that sex is just a mutual pleasure and does not define what a woman gives to you in a relationship especially a relationship that will lead to the altar

What's getting me worried is that we've come a long way but I don't want to end up with a selfish woman because it's written all over her that she cares so much only about her own well being

Please advice your fellow brother. Do I have a reason to be worried? I've been jumping a lagoon for a woman who can't jump a gutter for me especially when it comes to giving. Should I tolerate this level of stinginess from a woman simply because I'm a man?

P.S: I'm still with her because she has other good traits

Please pardon my typos. I wrote this in a hurry

Focus on her good side and take her as she is. If you are actually a natural giver, I bet the word of God tells you that you will never suffer lack to take care of her and the family satisfactorily when you get married. However don't stop advising her on the importance of giving. Find out from her if she gives for the work of God. Caution: Make sure she doesn't infest you with that attitude of selfishness.

I've been wanting to know what women mean by "a God-fearing man".

Most ladies can't even explain what it means but experience has taught me to believe that a God-fearing man to a woman is a man who will shout "Jesus" and "Oh Gawd" during sex.

A man that will be foolish enough to overlook their wrongs.
A man who won't send them packing if he catches them cheating.
A man who will carry her family's responsibility like Chaplet.
A man who will kneel and beg when they hit him.
A man who puts their welfare above his.

In summary, every spineless fvckboy husband is Godfearing.

Why are so many Virgins still Poor.

Why are many carefree philanderers and whores extremely rich?

How many virgins and 'righteous' people are living a comfortable life.

Some righteous people spend days in religious houses on empty stomach and still come out to look onto the unrighteous for favours. while some folks they would rather term as unbelievers or unrighteous spend valuable cash in night clubs and other frivolities yet they never go broke

If you have to sin to get it, then it is no longer a blessing but a curse. Righteously exalt a nation but sin is reproach to any people.

cheesy My favourite parts of the Bible are where a book supposedly inspired by the all-knowing all-powerful ever-present being contains all sorts of contradictions and ridiculous errors...sounds like a book that was written by different authors in the dark ages where ignorance was the norm.

Interestingly a lot of Christians don't even know that such jaw-dropping amount of discrepancies all occour in their "perfect" and "holy" book.

1. Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel?

God did (2 Samuel 24: 1)
Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1)

2. In that count how many fighting men were found in Israel?

Eight hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9)
One million, one hundred thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)

3. How many fighting men were found in Judah?

Five hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9)
Four hundred and seventy thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)

4. God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine?

Seven (2 Samuel 24:13)
Three (I Chronicles 21:12)

5. How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem?

Twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26)
Forty-two (2 Chronicles 22:2)

6. Who was the father of Joseph, husband of Mary?

Jacob (Matthew 1:16)
Hell (Luke 3:23)

7. Jesus descended from which son of David?

Solomon (Matthew 1:6)
Nathan(Luke3:31)

8. How did Simon Peter find out that Jesus was the Christ?

By a revelation from heaven (Matthew 16:17)
His brother Andrew told him (John 1:41)

9. Where did Jesus first meet Simon Peter and Andrew?

By the sea of Galilee (Matthew 4:18-22)
On the banks of river Jordan (John 1:42). After that, Jesus decided to go to Galilee (John 1:43)

10. When Jesus met Jairus was Jairus daughter already dead?

Yes. Matthew 9:18 quotes him as saying, My daughter has just died.
No. Mark 5:23 quotes him as saying, My little daughter is at the point of death.

I could go on to 100 FOR REAL
