There is a growing resentment for the supporters of the presidential aspirants of PDP and APC in Benin-City and other major towns of Edo.
People tend to look at anyone who openly declares support for Alhajis Atiku and Tinubu as enemy of the masses and are currently looked upon with deep disgust; something akin to hatred. We pray it shouldn't get to a point where people start lynching Atiku and Tinubu supporters.
Mind you the growing hatred is for now limited to Atiku and Tinubu supporters. There are limited evidences to show that other aspirants for the various positions available in PDP and APC are resented much like their superiors too– The presidential aspirants. So for now it's a case of personality in Edo land and not party issue.
So if you are in Benin-City and its environs and you are a big time supporter of either of Tinubu or Atiku or both please, be careful where you make this declaration or campaign, especially when in the gathering of youth and young adults. This warning is pertinent so as to avoid harm, whether psychological or physical coming your way.
Finally, note that this is a logical piece arising from careful observation and hence the sincere warning. Politics aside, I am doing this not because I am a supporter of Peter Obi and the Labour Party but for the fact that I am human. I need no harm to come to anyone.
Once again, be discerning of the audience when identifying with Tinubu or Atiku while in Benin-City.
You have been a country that has relatively been good to you compared to your home country just to start denying and waving your smelling country flags when they needed you more to stand by them.
What prevents them from volunteering and fighting for a country that has been good to them?
If I were in their shoes and Ukraine has been good to me then it would be a more honourable course to fight and die for Ukraine rather than coming to Nigeria that has failed me.
My sister was almost kidnapped last week by kidnappers on her way from school, during the process their driver was shot in the arm. Yesterday, a secondary school classmate was shot dead by alleged kidnappers.
Pray tell me which is yet safer, Ukraine at war or Nigeria?
drinoayo: The smart primary school student, Kayode, who wowed many with his campaign speech at a school in Osogbo has suffered defeat, Igbere TV reports.
In an earlier report which had a video of his public speech, the kid presented himself as the right candidate for the head boy position.
Kayode spoke with so much confidence that belied his age as he said that he is ready to be the voice of his peers and listen to their ideas.
The crowd was amazed by his well-crafted words. However, it seemed that was not enough as another candidate got the position.
In an update, a man with the social media handle @dondekojo said that Kayode lost the election.
Another person, @RealOkakah, said he was busy with big grammar while his opponent was busy doing underground work.
The eventual winner Moyosore is “Very social” and a “Known face” with his answers here I doubt it was about a manifesto.
Moyosore already has that dark streak already calling them “Best friends” when Jedediah had already said “we are still friends”. Politician. pic.twitter.com/SzLALlINIx
Calabar man, don't even compare Oba of Benin to your royal clowns you just mentioned. The Oba of Benin is on another level far above any in Nigeria, if not the world.
So be warned!
Oba gha to kpere! Isèè!
DankemzI: Omo royalty is sexy. If only royalty could be bought I'd have gotten His Royal Highness Obong of Calabar that's the highest Royal tool in Southern Nigeria followed by Obi of Onitsha before Oba of Benin! Chai power sweet!
If at this stage Nigeria has gotten to, you still won't defend your own Brother, Family, Tribesmen, ethnicity, or religion screaming bigotry up an down then you are a fool..
Someone confidently tells you a Deputy Commissioner of Police DCP not ACP
, not CP, not AIG not DIG would become your future Inspector General of Police, haaa!!!!
Like making JS3 student head boy over SS3 students
He still went on to tell you how Chief of Army Staff that spent 38 years on a 35 years Job and got Ambassador position immediately was cheated and victimised
FalseProphet1: I see him being released and sent abroad for rehabilitation, I see the government spending millions on him daily on him, I see Nigerians lamenting, I see Gumi defending the government's action, I see him going back to that shop to buy the sex enhancement drug but this time he will be coming there with police escort, I see a trailer load of oloshos struggling to go home with him.
So it's now a sin to say your mind? From personal experience, I know no one is more racist than the one who openly criticizes other racists for being racist.
We keep shying away from the truth. Studies in Sociology and Anthropology show that discrimination is a natural social response. Some of us can not eat in the same plate with a Fura-Dununu-eating Fulani man.
It may be discriminatory, but it's in us. Even in the Bible, (Genesis 30). Laban separated mottled, striped and streaked animals from his flock.
It is a natural instinct to be racist or race-conscious and that's why the half-caste or Lebanese will attract unnecessary attention on the streets in Nigeria.
It's a shame that fellow blacks have not built a thick skin for racist bashes. I have. Why should you thrive in a whiteman's land and still demand equality from them.
We are intruders and that's their land. We belong in Africa and the Carribeans hence should relate to their pain because we've gradually recolonized their land.
Is that not the same reason we're kicking against RUGA in Nigeria? Simply because we don't want a situation tomorrow where one Abdulkareem Wada is a bonafide indigene of Ideato LGA in Imo state.
If you relate to this, then you should relate to why a typical English man should be mad that a Bukayo Saka is playing for England.
The least Bukayo shoulda done to show appreciation to England for being there for his parents was to score that damn goal.
symbianDON: I don't understand o! How were they able still attack villages and even steal livestock while supposedly retreating?? Weren't supposed to fleeing from 'the military firepower'?
No mind them. Lie is what I smell in their statements.
I wonder how defeated, frightened bandits with some of their men killed or injured can still mobilized and attack villages while fleeing. Even at that what prevented the army from pursuing them all along as they flee in a bid to kill them all.
