Are we that forgetful as Nigerians? what does the law say concerning political heads and apparatuses when the president is declaring a state of emergency? can someone please go read the Supreme court judgement in the case of Dariye vs FG when a state of emergency was declared in plateau!!! just astounded at the ignorance exhibited here tonight. |
The girl is a part 4 law student in Unijos, she is no dumbo and should know the father of her baby unfortunately for P-Square his PR will go down whichever side this story falls. Sleeping with 17 year old girls shows no responsibility on his path. |
Best ke? none but if a knife is put to my throat to choose then Gowon. Worst? by country mile clueless Jonathan and is band of Otuoke drunken fishermen and sailors. |
Ile-Ife thanks for putting them right, i was astounded at the ignorance exhibited on this thread regarding Tinuade's surname even Yoruba contributors were off the mark smh!!! thanks for letting them know. Kai!!! Her forefathers must have been ironsmiths, they are the ones that bear that type of name. |
But why will anyone want and pray for PDP to return in 2015? It is only in Nigeria a man with no electricity, good road, hospitals, job, proper roof over head, line up on election day and vote for the government that has failed in nearly 16 years to provide such basics. It is disheartening seeing guys argue for PDP on this forum just because GEJ is from their tribe or of the same religious inclination, all over the world parties retain power based on performance but sadly in Nigeria we are suckers for punishment and pain hence come 2015 people will come on this forum to argue that GEJ has tried blah blah!!! This really is a backward nation. |
Oyo State had Perm Secs who could not send emails under Akala and please this is not a joke but absolutely truth, Ajimobi had no choice but to let them go and as at last count 17 obsolette Perm Secs have been let go. |
This list confirms what some players expressed privately that tribalism has crept into this team and I am ready to bet that we will be knocked out at the quaterfinals stage. Taiye Taiwo, Raheem Lawal (especially) Lukman Haruna, Sone Aluko, Obafemi Martins are far better than the junk players Okechukwu Keshi is taking to afcon 2013 but they are all Yoruba players who keshi had previously said "are trouble" and won't touch them some of our players in RUssia know him very well and expressed the tribalism fear his final selection has prove |
There will be no PDP in 2015 anyway so this topic is moot. |
Is MMA on fire? |
Take care of your siblings now and delay marriage, you will be a lot happier for it in future when they are all in good positions and you don't have to feed them. I am the first of 6, lost my dad at 16 when i was going into second year in university i completed my degree course and by 20 i had finished my NYSC. My immediate brother is 5 years younger so u can imagine the ages of the others however with the help of God almighty i was able to get a job immediately in one of the Merchant banks then in 1990 and went on to finance all my siblings. 2 medical doctors, an investment banker in New York,Chartered Accountant and Lawyer, they are all very successful now that if i need anything from them and thankfully i don't, they are ready at the drop of a hat. I did not marry until 34 and that is late for someone who graduated at 20; but it was my choice to see the last one finish law school before marriage. Help them now, yes it is a sacrifice but it is better now than to ignore them and carry all your life. |
Hmmmmm!!!! |
I have seen him in real life a few times, trust me this picture is photo-shopped he is far far uglier than this pix. If you wake up and see him all you want to do is go back to bed. |
I am surprised that no one on this thread has noticed the glaring error on the supposed Ekiti state first lady, two different people were presented and they sure don't look alike; does the lady in the first picture look like the first lady to you guys? Anyway that is Mrs. Funmi Olayinka a 53 year old former bank GM. Now go and find out who she is in Ekiti state. SMH. |
Did you say my BOSS? nuff said. |
Geez that $300k figure is wide off the mark though but you make valid points. Do you know that $1m or N160m can empower 3200 petty traders in a large church if distributed at N50k each? The pure water seller, the barber, soft-drinks seller, the lady selling yam in the market, the palm oil seller etc. do you know that if you inject N50k into some of those businesses it will take them to anothet level. 3200 congregants will as a knock on effect empower other people on a smaller scale!!! State of Osun governor employed 20,000 people in one fell swoop in 2010, paying them N10k each, opponents sniggered saying what is 10k blah! blah!!! do you know that recently World Bank in Nigeria rated the economy of that state as one of the fastest growing in Nigeria? all because N200m is circulating at the lower level on a monthly basis. 10k x 20,000 people is N200m. It is not rocket science how to eradicate poverty and it makes me a bit uncomfortable as a pentecostal christian see the recent jet acquistion rush among our pastors. There is much more the millions of dollars can do. |
The Okoro haters can go skydiving without parachute. ![]() |
Rossike are you for real!!!!! Tribune ACN supporter!!!! I laugh in Turenchi. Indeed the present editor was Oyinlola's press secretary for 7 years in Osun. The Awolowo clan turned against ACN years ago and pitched their tent firmly with PDP this happened round about 2003 when the old AD governors lost out to PDP. Tribune and ACN is like oil and water bro, they don't mix. |
The crying shame is that the honourable thing to do by any self-respecting human being is not in the Nigerian DNA. So i don't expect Abati who is now more of an Apati (ignored)in the statehouse affairs to do that anytime soon. |
they are going in their old age so what i the problem? |
Eminent jurist and one of the most lucid minds the legal profession will ever see in Nigeria, passed on at 87 years this morning. May he Rest in Peace. |
I have lived and worked in Lagos indeed my family still lives there, i presently work in Abuja been here the last 15 months i can confidently say that Abuja drivers are lunatics on wheels and as one poster said the sad part is they actually dont know how to drive. When i first cam here i was so sure Abuja taxis in particular were designed without brakes and this can easily be attested to by the number of accidents in my vicinity on a daily basis. I live in WuseII and accidents, usual fatal happen nearly everyday at the junctions on Ahmadu Bello way weekends is something else when more people are drunk on kainkain and all sorts i wonder why the national press has not deemed it fit to report on the rate of accidents on Abuja city roads and to think Abuja has the best roads in Nigeria!!!! Just can't wait to get back to Lagos and abandon these abokis. |
A prat, twerp, head full of white fibres and no gray matter. Finally executive buffoon. Baale awon dindinrin. |
Maintaining a jet is not cheap o. I just hope they are prepared for the cost of keeping it in the air. |
The road was meant to be four lanes either side why did Babalakin reduce it again, originally it was 5 lanes then Yar'adua agreed to make it 4 lanes to sagamu and 3 lanes to Ibadan so why is he reducing it again? what purpose will 3 lanes serve when the intention was to have dedicated truck lanes? Babalakin is a fraud who has no money to do the road and i can assure you that in 2015 we will still be here. |
i tried it and worked perfectly |
This girl sleeps around, i can count at least 7 guys she has had liasions with in the last 2 years including my friend here in Lagos who took her to Dubai last year September for 8 days. My friend was on his business trip to Dubai and India, Bisi joined him in Dubai all expenses paid for. I remember my friend telling us that she is extremely good in bed and that she only wore clothes when they went out to eat; she was stark naked throughout their stay tgder and they were always doing it anytime anywhere in the hotel room. The girl aint no saint abeg. |
The day the building was commissioned i was coming in from Lagos and i remembered saying that the person who approved the building should be sacked and that if any govt decides to add just an extra lane to that road, the building will go. I am the least surprised and kudos to the state government. If he got approval legally he will be compensated if not he is in O-Y-O literarily and figuratively. O-Y-O (on your own). |
Guys for the first time i think Mimiko is rattled and he might be in for a shocker in 2 weeks time. I think the tactic Akerodolu adopted is indeed working, campaigning from ward to ward and this was evident in the turnout at the 3 mega rallies particularly in Ondo Mimiko's hometown. No one should assume it will be a walk in the park for Mimiko and expect more shockers before election day. |
Oba Adedokun Abolartn, Doxy to some of us one of the most brilliant and lucid minds i came across as a student. |
Was in the office at Hammersmith borough in London, think i was on tea break that morning when the first plane struck and my wife called to tell me that a plane has gone into the WTC a place we visited on vacation less than two weeks before. Scary though. |
Breaking news now in Nigeria, Power Minister Barth Nnaji dismissed for Fraud. |
