I gave you one example, are you blind? go back and read my posts. You're a Protestant because you use the Protestant "bible." And you and your fellow Protestants can't agree on the truth. Some of you eat snakes, others don't. Some drink petrol, others don't. Some have statues, others don't. Some say Jesus is God, others say he is man. Some go to Church naked, others don't. Some of your pastors teach your wives/sisters/mothers to such "anointed milk" from their pastors penis, others teach that 'anointing' will come when the pastors penetrate your wives/mothers/sisters vaginas... ...and you want to tell me about "truth." |

Millerz: You are wrong and this verse has absolutely nothing to do with your question. The verse you just quoted talks about when we finally ascend to our eternal home in heaven, not while we:re still on earth. Heb12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. EMILO2STAY: Note: Cardinal Newman, in his book, “The Development of the Christian Religion,” admits that ... “Temples, incense, oil lamps, votive offerings, holy water, holidays and season of devotions, processions, blessing of fields, sacredotal vestments, the tonsure (of priests and monks and nuns), images ... are all of pagan origin...” (Page 359). if a catholic cardinal can admit all this, is it still far fetched that the rosary has roots from pagnism?. All the things in bold were encouraged by God in the Bible. E.g incense is burnt in heaven Rev5:8, God commanded the building of a Temple, Jesus talked about keeping our oil lamps burning, Passover was a season of devotion, etc. So God himself was copying paganism? You see where stupidity and hatred for the Catholic Church are leading you? |

one billion Christians can enter into the presence of GOD at the same time. Not the Presence of saints and angels but of God. So you're saying the Holy Spirit was incorrect in the verse below? Heb12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. |

Mary and the Angels can see us. Obviously as believers, we each have guardian angels. It is God that answers our prayers. The angels are mere messengers who God uses to deliver our requests unto us. OK. So Mary and the Angels can see us. Thank you. Can they also hear us?Can Mary and the Angels carry our prayers/requests to God and intercede for us? Also, you skipped these questions:
Do you believe that we partake in God's divinity?
Do you believe that God's Divinity includes his omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence? |

So who were the Catholic's serving when the compiled and canonized the Bible you're carrying about...when they instituted Christmas and Easter that most Protestants celebrate...when they changed the day of worship to Sunday that most Protestants adhere to? God, Saints or Mary? brocab: The gospel narratives were not written at the time the events happened, like some kind of daily journal entry. Rather, they were put together later, like most historical narratives, based on the memory research, and compilation. Matthew and John were both eyewitnesses to most of the events in their narratives. Mark and Luke had access to the eyewitnesses. In fact Luke mentions that he carefully investigated everything from the beginning before writing the gospel. Luke 1:1-4 "In as much as many have taken in hand to set in order a narrative of those things which most surely believe among us. Just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word delivered them to us. It seemed good to me also, having prefect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus. That you may know the certainly of those things in which you were instructed. Very probably Mark gleaned information for his gospel from the apostle Peter. 1 Peter 5:11-13 "With the help of Silus, whom I have regarded as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it. She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you her greetings and so does my son Mark. Greet one another with a kiss of love. The other benefit he writers had-and this is a big one-is that they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scriptures are breathed out by God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof for correction, and for the training of righteousness. In fact Jesus had promised them that the Spirit would bring to their remembrance "everything" I had said. 1 John 14:16. Now you come up the evidence who told you, you can pray the rosary's? You still haven't shown me where God said that when he speaks, he confirms it with scripture... ...and that Mark and Luke should write anything. johnw74: You should ask those protestants, I have said I don't have a problem with those two Bibles you talk about. I believe the jw bible is adulterated, i don't believe jw's are christians. I haven't read any rcc bible so I cannot comment on that, but by the rcc unbibilical traditions perhaps your bible is adulterated too.
But I will give you one example of what the rcc have tried to prevent people from knowing: The catholic church have tried to prevent people from knowing the Truth of being able to pray to Almighty God Himself, and they taught people to pray before statues, and to Mary the mother of Jesus instead off to God Himself, i think they still do teach that.
rcc even have statues of Joseph, Jesus's step Father in their churches, and statues of angels and so on.
Exo 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me. Exo 20:4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Exo 20:5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,
catholics kneel down and pray before statues, they even kneel and pray before the statues of popes, dead men. they obviously don't believe the Bible(above verses) And you Protestants have found the truth that the bible teaches you to eat snakes and drink Petrol in your "churches?" Meanwhile Anglicans and some other Protestants also have statues in their "churches" like the statues in Joshua 7:6 in their bibles. Are their Bibles (KJV and others) also adulterated by Catholic tradition? Now that Protestants have "found the truth," why are you all teaching contradictory doctrines (even those of you reading the very same version e.g King James)? E.g one "church" say eat snakes, the other says don't. One "church" tells his female members to come naked to "church," the other says don't. One "church" says NWT is adulterated, the other says KJV and NIV are adulterated. One So where is this truth that you claim the Catholic Church was hiding? |

brocab: Of course we hear the claims made by Catholic's that Jesus never told any of His disciples to write anything down, and clearly He never wrote any of the scriptures Himself for example. It is not strange that if Christianity were to be learned from the bible only, that Christ Himself never wrote a line, nor commanded His apostles to write. Only 5 of the 12 did write, for their divine commission was not to write, but to teach and preach the gospel
{Matt 19, Mark 15, Luke 16, Acts 8} They wrote merely to confirm their teaching, and never given the slightest intimation that Christianity was to rest solely on a bible foundation. Of course the Catholic's will say this is a significant omission in the bible, which in their view severely undermines the validity of the protestant principle. Turn the attention of those who are making such claims, of the book of Revelation.
These verses are quoted from the King James. Revelation 1:11,19-2:1,8,12,18-3:1,7,14-14:1, 19:9, 21:5. So 12 times to seven different Church communities, John is directed by Jesus to write what became scripture. Well did Jesus ever write anything down Himself-in His own hand-Yes He certainly did. Exodus 31:12-18 "Written by the finger of God, He wrote the 10 commandments.
John 21:24-25 "This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that the testimony is true. Jesus did many other things as well. If everyone of them were written down, I suppose that even the hole world would not have room for the books that would be written. You still haven't shown me where God said that when he speaks, he confirms it with scripture... ...and that Mark and Luke should write anything. |

adsonstone: For once, THINK!
Those statements were comparisons to you wild assumptions and words, to show you they're grossly irrelevant.
Brocab's 'senselessness' is YOUR own claim, what have I to do with it?!
You mentioned that 'Brocab was senseless,' I replied by asking why you were still talking with him, you said to expose him further...I simply answered that 'keep exposing him!'
Do you have any problem with that?!
For the other one, you said you have the right to condemn whatever you do not like, I answered you by comparing your belief to what the Boko Haram believe; that they have a right to condemn and destroy whatever they do not like!
Is that too much for you to deal with?
Again, I say; I have no obligation to provide any proof for anything, I did not claim anything which requires any proof.
If anyone is to prove anything, it is who should prove that; God confirmed the rosary to you..because you claimed that.
Where are the questions I dodged? Do you mean providing proofs for your own assumptions and claims I did not make?
See, if you cannot be honest and straightforward, it is not compulsory to talk, you have a right not to! Why should I show you where Jesus approved the Rosary? Did I come to you asking you to pray the Rosary or did your fellow Protestants come on this public thread, condemning the Rosary?
Did you ever ask for proof of where Jesus approved the compilation of the bible before reading it?

Seems your dishonesty is driving you to another level. The bold is a dubious claim. Likewise Bokoharam, they believe they have the right to condemn and destroy whatever they do not like. Besides, if you believe Brocab is senseless as you said, why can't you simply ignore? Or is the urge to talk to him just to much to resist? Those are your claims above Go ahead and explain how Boko Haram and Brocab's senselessness are related to the Rosary... But when I ask if you sought/provided proof for the Bible compilation and Deeper life... ...And when I ask if it is hypocrisy (after you had falsely accused me of hypocrisy) to ask proof of Jesus' approval for the Rosary when you didn't ask/provide proof of Jesus' approval of the compilation of the bible and deeper life founding... ...it suddenly isn't related to the Rosary. I said the guy did not mention that all Jesus said or did was in the scripture.
From his post, I can also correctly imply that he's saying that anything that has no basis in scriptures is not of God.
You can imply whatever suits you.
You have been debunked! You claimed that Jesus never commanded anybody to write anything! Jesus debunked that in Revelation 1:19 without hesitation!
Simple! No need for irrelevant stories!
Jesus calls you a liar! Go and fight him!
I disagree.
I believe that a teaching does not have to be explicitly recorded in the to be true or to be of God but it must have a basis in the scripture. If it doesn't, it is not of God.
Likewise Bokoharam, they believe they have the right to condemn and destroy whatever they do not like.
It would be unwise for me to prove what's not concerned with the subject of the discourse.[b]
[b]Yes, I skipped...because I know anyone can lie and claim that "it did not occur to them."
If you're honest that it did not occur to you, it is not a lie, it was a careless and ignorant speech, devoid of proof...but if it did, then it is simply a lie.
However, since I can't tell if you're honest or not...besides, I have known you to be dishonest on so many issues, so I can take it to be a lie, or an ignorant speech if it pleases me.
1. I did not observe the post that said so.
2. What's the proof that he's lying?
3. What's the truth about what he said and what's the proof?
Keep exposing him. As I've said before, I am under no obligation to prove anything, it is outside what's being discussed. There's only one reason you will avoid my queries under all sorts of guises...even though I answered all your initial issues. It's the only way your dubious claims can make sense to you.
