Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Catholics Pray With The Rosary, And Bow To Mary's Statue? by italo: 8:12am On Dec 14, 2015
brocab:
2 Thess 2:15 "Talks about the traditions of the word of God-that was taught by the disciples, not your old pagan traditions.
And their is no part in scripture, where Jesus talks about the rosary's.
Your worldly God gave you permission to pray the rosary's. Not the heavenly God.

Luke 1:42-44 "Mary receiving the Holy Spirit, later she had visited Elisabeth was also with child, said she felt her child leaping up for joy inside her womb, as Mary entered her home-Elisabeth couldn't believe her eye's that the mother of my lord should come to me.
So this scripture isn't about Mary, its all about Jesus-Mary was just the carrier. Look what happened when the birth of Jesus had arrived-3 wise men and the shepherds-weren't interested in Mary they were sent by God to see Jesus.

Lets look further into Luke 11:27-28 "As Jesus was saying these things a woman in the crown, called out saying blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you. Jesus then said: bless are those who hear the word of God and observe it.

So really-Mary didn't receive any credit here, not even a blessing-Jesus made a point of saying blessed are those who hear the word of God and does it.
Jesus never mentioned Bible.

Jesus never condemned Rosary.

God of heaven told me the Rosary is from him.

It is your worldly god that told you the Rosary is not from God.

my comment is harsh because u are lying and u have refused the truth,
Prove that I'm lying. I also think you're lying.
EMILO2STAY:
God has spoken to us through the bible, and there is no where in the bible u can find support for the rosary.
I have listed bible verses supporting the Rosary and Church Tradition above. Please show me a bible verse that condemns the Rosary.

EMILO2STAY:
U cant claim the rosary is from God when even ur church admits they adopted it from paganism.
Lie! Show us where the Church admits such.

EMILO2STAY:
So tell me how can God speak to only italo and shun the rest of christians, God did not speak to paul ;peter, john, mathew , mark, philip, luke, jude and jesus about the rosary it is italo he has choosen to speak to. U are a lier and u have intentionaly refused the truth because of your bias towards the catholic church, sorry u are lost.
1. How many Christians have you spoken to before concluding that God told only me that the Rosary is from him? Did you speak to the over 1billion catholics?

2. Did God speak to Paul, Peter, John, Matthew, Mark, Philip, Luke, Jude and Jesus about writing and compiling the Bible, Church wedding, Christian funeral etc?

If Yes, show the verses.

Do what Jesus would do?
You know you are disobeying the word of God. You know it wasn't God of heaven speaking to you-but the God of this world.
And If you were to obey God's commandments-you would follow after His words true and true.
The only reason you refuse to obey God's commandments is because you would be disqualified from the Catholic Church. .
You keep saying I'm disobeying God when God never said "don't pray the Rosary."

I already told you that God himself has confirmed to me that the Rosary is from him.

So the God of heaven cannot speak to me abi?

He can only speak to you?

He is in your custody? You own him?

You're God's lawmaker?

I am sure you can think for yourself-and if you knew God as you say you do-then you wouldn't go out of your way and disobey Him by praying the rosary's when you know, it isn't scriptural.
Even when he confirmed to me that the Rosary is from him?

And he never commanded me not to pray the Rosary...so I'm not disobeying.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Catholics Pray With The Rosary, And Bow To Mary's Statue? by italo: 6:42am On Dec 14, 2015
brocab:
"No" I am surprised that God even spoke to you about the rosary's that's not even scriptural. See the God we know, speaks to us-backing up His word with scripture.
1 Corinthians 2:12-14 "Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit, who is from God, so we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining with spiritual thought with spiritual words.
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to Him, and He cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
This is why we are confused with your idea-I honestly believe you don't know God, let alone' God told you to pray the rosary's when it isn't scriptural.
What does it matter that you're confused with the idea of the Rosary?

Hundreds of millions of people are confused about your own anti-Rosary idea...and they consider it scriptural.

Luke1:28 And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Luke1:42 And she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

Matt6:9 Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil.

Etc.

And the Bible also said we should hold fast to both Scripture and Church Tradition. 2Thess2:15.

And no part of scripture says "The Rosary is bad."

And billions of people also believe you don't know God.

And God has confirmed to me that the Rosary is from him.

This is a common case within.
1 Timothy 6:5 "Men of corrupt minds destitute of the truth, who think that godliness is the means of financial Gain,
From such withdraw yourselves.
These are false prophets. Test the Spirits behind these men, don't forget Its the word of God that saves us.

I didn't compare anything.

I simply asked you:

Are you free to go without water for days? Yes or No?

Does it have grave consequences? Yes or no?

My question isn't outside the premise of our discussion because your questions suggest that you think freedom is devoid of consequences.

When you find the courage to answer the questions honestly, you'll realize that your understanding of freedom is wrong...if you haven't already realized that by now.

A SPOKESPERSON for the
Vatican (Roman Catholic)
has officially announced that
the second coming of Jesus,
the only son of the God, may
not happen now after all, but
urged followers to still
continue with their faith,
regardless of the news.
Cardinal Giorgio Salvadore told WWN that this
years 1,981st anniversary is to be the Vatican’s
last in regards to waiting for the Lord to return to
Earth.
“We just feel Jesus is not coming back by the
looks of it.” he said. “It’s been ages like. He’s
probably flat out doing other really good things
for people somewhere else.”
Nearly two thousand years ago, Jesus promised
his disciples that he would come again in
chapter John 14:1-3 of the bible: “There are
many homes up where my Father lives, and I am
going to prepare them for your coming. When
everything is ready, then I will come and get you,
so that you can always be with Me where I am. If
this weren’t so, I would tell you plainly”
The Vatican defended Jesus’ broken promise,
claiming “he was probably drinking wine” at the
time when he made the comments.
“Having the ability to turn water into wine had its
ups and its downs.” added Cardinal Salvadore.
“We all make promises we can’t keep when
we’re drunk. Jesus was no different.”
The church said it will now focus attentions on
rebuilding its reputation around the world, but
will have keep an optimistic mind for the savior’s
second coming.

The Catholic Church never said that. There's nobody called "Cardinal Giorgio Salvadore."

It's just one of the many lies peddled by devilish protestants against the Catholic Church.

what it has got to with belief is that is seems as if God was waiting for them to sin. Come to think about it God is omnipresent he is everywhere so he sees everything what a loving does when he sees us making mistake is to stop us from making them rather than punishing us after making them while he saw us making them
To sin is to reject God.

To sin is to freely choose the consequences of sin.

God has given us the freedom to choose.

Do you want to teach God how a loving God should behave?

It's okay to assume, because God never promised that he would give us every detail of the lives of biblical characters...neither did he say that these details should compulsory be known by us.

I don't know if am slowly becoming an atheist by not believing the old testament especially about creation there are just too many unanswered questions

I would like to say that I believe in Jesus Christ
I hope you can help me with answers to this questions

1)were Adam and eve the only people God created in the beginning
2)we now know that there is a new planet that inhabits living things what is the biblical explanation for that together with other planets
3)Jesus is going to prepare a place for believers if heaven exists already what is that place called
4)since God knew that eve would eat the apple why did he not stop Serpent from tempting her despite knowing the consequences and also why did he pretend as if he didn't know what Adam and eve had done was he trying to be sarcastic
5)is there a probability that the 7 or 3½ years of the great tribulation could be shortened
6)Why do we still read the old testament which was gotten from Judaism with so much love for blood even though it contradicts Christ teaching
7)Is it a sin to ask rational questions cos as scientist it is very difficult to close minded

ATHEIST PLEASE KEEP OFF .
PastorAIO SonofIssachar annyplenty OLAADEGBU Ubenedictus
1. Yes. Adam and Eve were the first people created. Cains wife? She could well have been his sister.

2. I don't know the 'biblical explanation.' But if indeed there is life in other planets, they are all a testament to the awesomeness of God's creation.

3. 'I'm going to prepare a room in my flat for my visiting mother.' Does it mean the room is not already existing?

4. God has given man the dignity and freedom to choose. Even your parents at a point will give you the dignity of choosing freely between good and bad. A reasonable husband will give his wife the dignity of freely choosing to be faithful or unfaithful.

I don't know whether God was being sarcastic or he was giving Adam and Eve the chance to state their case honestly or dishonestly. But what has that got do with belief or disbelief in the old testament?

5. The Catholic Church doesn't teach about the tribulation in the literal sense that you're taking it

6. The Old Testament is the pointer to Christ And his coming. It helps us to understand the reason he came.

7. No. Being a scientist with a probing open mind will lead you to God. Just look at the human body and how it releases antibodies to fight diseases. Look at how the blood streams have their own dispensary that administer treatment for impurities in the blood. Look at how violating God's law leads to negative consequences for the human body e.g contraceptives damaging effect on women's bodies, indiscriminate sex and stds, the link between abortion and breast cancer, effects of over-drinking, etc. Let's not even start with the awesomeness of the universe. Can a scientist with an open mind tell me that all these sprang up on their own?

Just to give you a bonus: the first person to propound the big bang theory was a Catholic priesy, Fr Georges Lemaitre. He believed in God more than you...and had a more open mind than you...and was a better scientist than you (no malice intended).

Also, many other pioneer in great scientific fields and strata have been Catholic priests.

There is NO dispute between true religion and true science.
