The danger in the book is that certain people that just read it for the first suddenly feel like they are all knowing and wouldn't want anyone close to them to have that kind of feeling . The truth is that that book is like a Bible , it can be applied in different ways by different people ie the way I apply it would never be that same way u apply it but the fundamental principles are the same. True , the life of the court is still at play today but the motivation to succeed is slightly different , u need to understand what motivate people (that thumbscrew) to be able to successfully apply the laws |

The most complete statement that described 'Free Will' in the scripture is Deuteronomy 30:11-20 (vs19). From there , you can understand pre-destination more clearly . Yes , God has pre-destined certain people for certain things but man's greatest attribute which makes him peculiar to other creations is free Will which enable man to decide whether to allow himself flow in the path God has chosen for him or chose another path to destruction. If it was content , it may be overlook being that some judges may have in-born favor towards one topic already, maybe due to orientation or belief but grammar ?
