It was all publicity stunt. Why would anyone believe that politicians who love money so much will forego their salary without a loophole to make more? |
toscolom1:If his family can't locate him, no stranger can. Suspects usually have one family member they trust the most and would know their location. Look inwards and you will find your answer. |
The fraudster should rot in jail but the act of trusting strangers with huge money is foolish. |
You are asking strangers to help you locate a family? Quite strange. |
Patrioticman007:Religious tolerance is irrelevant in many cases if the government is sincere and people use their head. What stops Kwara state from establishing more schools or even completely taking over those missionary schools? Even in marxist China, there are religious schools and you don't enrol there and start complaining of unfavourable rules. Mary mother of Jesus wore hijab as against the half unclothedness displayed to day by the Antichrist. So much for your tolerance. A person either wears hijab or they are naked and anti-christ and you wonder why religious tension is rising everywhere. You can tell if a person is a devil just by the presence or absence of hijab, yet you are a preacher of religious tolerance. Today's churches are Antichrist if they hate covering of ladies unclothedness.I am not a christian, so I won't waste my time trying to defend a position that I don't subscribe to. |
jumper524:Perhaps you need to check the meaning of hypocrisy. I know several government grammar schools and not once has the hijab issue come up there because the ownership is clear. If you choose to be an ostrich like the government rather than facing the real issue, that's your decision. |
jumper524:They are not government owned schools. They are hybrid. No government fully-owned schools can challenge government rules. When the British withdrew from Nigeria, the government decided to start funding the private schools left behind by the missionary instead of building its own. Some of the schools were total takeover, in others, there were agreements that the management control the schools while they receive some funding from the government. Some muslim schools were also partially taken over by the government. It is the schools where the management remained intact that are having this running problems. But our government refuse to act appropriately. A simple bill will solve these problems but they won't do it. They prefer to leave the problem unattended so as to pretend to be working whenever the issue arise again. In a perfect world, parents should be able to enrol their wards in any school they like but the reality is different. |
Tranquility4u:You are missing the point. This issue is simple. The government should either totally take over the schools or stop giving grants to them. That is how it is done in many countries. The government will make rules and only give grants to schools that will follow them. No need for fights or threats. Personally, I see no problem with mixed school hijab but the Nigerian government seems to hate good solutions. |
jumper524:Which western world? Some of you guys would just create fiction in your head and think it is reality. There are private and public schools and parents know which one they should put their kids. No muslim will put their kids in a catholic school and start complaining that they are being maltreated. I know of several government schools where hijab has been used for years with no one complaining. This is because the ownership of such schools was very clear. What a sensible government will do is only fund schools that will follow its rules. It can also seize all hybrid schools and expel their current management. No need for threats or court cases or yearly media war. |
This won't change anything. |
Eriokanmi:It is only in Nigeria that a judge will free a rapist on health grounds and that is why rapists are so bold. If this were to be in any state in the US, he will die in prison. A rapists on his death bed would be sentenced to prison and be held in a government hospital. Shame on rapist defenders! |
I won't be surprised if that judge is also molesting someone in his household. Why would he discharge a rapist who pretends to be sick? How would the victim feel now that her oppressor got away with rape? What's the point of going through all the trial just to be slapped with injustice. Shame on that judge. |
Let me assume you are not one of those heartless fellow paid to defend killers online. Sultan confirmed it. https://www.nairaland.com/6391025/seven-out-every-ten-kidnappers Ask yourself why herdsmen are not the suspect in drug trafficking, car snatching and burglary? I find it hard to believe that after how many years of grazing they all of a sudden turn criminals destroying farms and killing the owners and sometimes kidnap.I didn't see this part before replying: Did you also find it hard to believe that Boko haram members are Nigerians and not some people disguising to distract you since Bornu have been very peaceful for decades? How about Yahoo boys, could some group have been impersonating our youths given that these fraudsters weren't that numerous in the 70s and 80s? |
Monogamy: Odua1stson:The seriki is lying. He didn't mention that anybody died when they were expelled. Now that Ogun villages are being raided by bandits, he needed justification and sympathy so he cooked up the figures. His idea of peace is that they decide who live or die while the victims should never complain. The governor is busy sympathising while villagers are being attacked and expelled. |
Japz:Shameless criminal. Your day of reckoning is coming. |
BigDick70inch:Tbh 6sta........most of those guys ain't just scammers as u assumed..........but big time drug addict and cultist too..........better u sort things out talking to them dan snitching on them........ The appointment letter is authentic. They are just shocked that it leaked out. |
happney65:Because Ajimobi did not once show favoritism as Makinde did with the criminal Wakil. Even Akeredolu who is an APC man is not pampering bandits. Tell your boss that Oyo people have a long memory and they know their true friends. |
Malami wants to legalize open grazing through the backdoor. Nigerians should brace themselves for another Ruga-like fight. If an agency is created for herders, all their activities automatically become legal. Herdsmen are causing serious problems now that they are not legal, imagine what will happen when they openly have federal law and security behind them? |
Your useless boss allows bandits warlord to operate freely in Oyo instead of making a stand. Nobody trust him again, that is why the Sasha incident happened. |
thebosstrevor1:I didn't know you had a solution, now advise Buhari to solve the problem bedevilling the peaceful North-western states where parents now donates their daughter to apease bandits. Oh, you really didn't have any solution, you want a media blackout while your brothers kill unrestricted in the name of peace. Many death would have been avoided if the press didn't first create the impression of so called killer herdmenMany deaths would have been avoided if the criminals behave. |
Hotbutt:Don't mind those asking you to leave them alone or issuing threat. They are Yahoo boys too or benefitting from them. Yahoo boys are dangerous criminals to have as neighbors. Don't make the mistake of talking to them, they are unreasonable and will mark you as an enemy. Go to Twitter and DM EFCC. You can also go to their website and email them. You can do it anonymously. Go here and choose the location closest to you: https://www.efccnigeria.org/efcc/contact-us-2 You deserve peace in your house. Don't die in silence. |
All good. He was killed by the good bandits who are being pampered by Northern governors. |
SmartPolician:Tell us how you, your family or community benefits from these appointments. We are waiting. |
IamAtikulate: ![]() The same way Kanu is dishing out unbiased "truths". |
This is the accurate story of what happened because I was thereFake story. Anyone who started their statement with such a line can't be trusted. How do we know she was even there? This is like interviewing only of the parties in a conflict, of course they would paint themselves as the saint to draw sympathy. Whoever conducted this interview need their head examined. A Yoruba man just slapped a Niger man while he was pleading, tell that story to fools. Even a mad man wouldn't react that way. |
All deaths could have been prevented if the man who killed a pregnant woman and a shoemaker has been promptly arrested. |
Actors everywhere both North and South. |
