Nigerians are not ready for good governance, you can see many people
wanting to learn Chinese on these thread while some want to migrate
to China, the reaction for a people who really want change is not to run from
the problems or laments, but seek for a way forward.
We love the status quo.

No offence but I think those who cut corners always have it easier in Nigeria. Those who import through the wrong means always know who to bribe and get their goods cleared without much delay but most times, even if you follow the right processes, they will still ask for bribe and if you don't pay, you get delayed.

My point is that one cannot bribe a custom officer to cut corners then turn around
to blame the officer for collecting bribe.

Nigerians tolerate bribery culture then blame the receivers of bribe,
that is nothing but hypocrisy.
Before you claim that the bribe givers had no choice,
please visit a UTME exam centre and see how desperate
candidates and their parents tempt invigilators with various
bribes.
