And why did Odumchi resign, anyway?? He's the best Eze by far...

However, I nominate anyone whose surname is NWAFOR - that should be the real Eze... cool
Wishing most tribalists will emulate your open mindedness to the Igbos. You don't come insulting and tribal bashing. You did hate on Achebe but I understood that you were mad at him for what he wrote. Peace!

He knows that his mum has never been nice to his wife for the 4 years of their marriage and he had the two living together that long. It looks to me like a case whereby the MIL was being eaten up daily by jealousy over the presence of another woman in her son's life. I mean she is so attached to him that for 4 years she couldn't let him leave her apron and live with his wife.

There seems to be more to the story than met the eyes, all that "she took her pictures and he asked wifey to ignore her" are not making sense. What is he doing with her DIL's pictures? She must have been boiling up in that home until whatever ugly feeling that made her do that tipped her over the edge. It's so ugly.

richfaxy: You can read similar stories of mourning or faithful dogs on http://theweek.com/article/index/217815/the-phenomenon-of-grieving-dogs-the-ultimate-loyalty
That was awesome. I almost teared up after reading that and will find time to watch the video of the kindhearted dog that was dodging traffic whle pulling another dog off the road.

The story of Hachiko too is heart touching as well as heart rending. Blessed be Hachiko.grin and the other dog that was attending church alone after his/her owner who used to attend church with it passed away.
All these stories almost have me thinking that we humans are eating poor animals that have warm feelings of the heart. Chei! Na wa o.
When God gave Adam the power to dominate the earth, did he ask us to be eating animals. I dunno-o-o, Who knows?
I mean look at the story of that Gorilla Gana, if to say that man eats Gorilla just like we eat cow meat. How can a human being kill such a loving mother Gorilla Gana to eat. Jeez!
LOSING YOUR BEST FRIEND

The bonds a human can form with a dog are deep, and research indicates that canines feel them too. Studies show that dogs can feel grief, especially after the loss of an owner. The pets will react to their emotions by not eating, sleeping more than
usual and generally being lethargic. Some dogs will also show a lack of acceptance that an owner has died, and will try to stay with him or her. This was seen with a dog that belonged to a slain Navy SEAL. The dog, Hawkeye, refused to leave the side of his owner's coffin during the funeral.
I was very touched by this incident when it was first reported. The teary eyes/sad look on the dog's face melted hearts then.

The mother dolphin and Gana the gorilla gave me that same feeling all over again. Animals do have beautiful tender warm feelings. Poor poor animals.

Foreign AffairsRe: Oscar Pistorius Granted Bail by Ivynwa(f): 9:11pm On Feb 22, 2013
Are they freeing him for him to go get enraged and shoot down another?
Read from somewhere again, that this is not his first shooting incident---that he shot out of anger while in a restaurant and the bullet almost came close to hitting someone. Trigger happy hand + Lack of self control= Lethal

They should tread with care yet who will not pity him and his leglessness?
They should device a means of testing the degree of self control a person has before giving out gun license? grin Really.
Any with out a good degree of self control should not be allowed to own a gun lest they go blasting people's head when they are angry/mad mad crazy.

Now that picture below is funny.
How do you hold down a man that incapacitated? Wish he never committed that murder.

mofolorunshoabi: Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this piece. I have been following this thread as if my life depended on it. This is no superstory neither is it fake. Infact I had to leave out some facts to shield identities because he is a known face. At a point I was almost at the point of giving in to pressures on me releasing the kids to him but u know what; it is ibo men that I sought on advice that told me that in the present circumstance, the kids are better of staying with me. Coupled with various opinion of wonderful people like you, I have resolved to stop 'seeing him' and fight to gain custody of all that is left of the marriage. Our next hearing comes up on monday. Thank you
Yeah, stand up for yourself. If you are not good enough to live with anymore and he is cohabiting with another woman---you should leave some dignity left for your shoulder to stand with. What is all that talk about if you have given him one more male child? Don't be surprised that tomorrow if he does not get his one more male child from any other woman that he will be running across the world looking for you and will appreciate you and the son he has now more. His only reason for wanting to separate the children from you is for them to go to his people and understand his language. If he is serious about that , he should have been teaching them all the while.

Grow some confidence and have mercy on yourself dearie, don't have him pushing you around and playing with you while chilling with another woman. Where did you get the heart to be tangoing with him while he is living with another woman blatantly. You accepted his maltreatment and made him think that it is okay to play God with your life, until he realizes that you are not allowing him treat you like a piece of rag anymore he may continue bringing out new ultimatums over your life(that he doesn't even want to share with you). Good that your last post showed that you are beginning to keep your head up. I have read that divorce is a traumatic experience. You alone feels the pain but if your fellow human being rejects you---- cry/despair all you can, wipe your tears, have some mercy on yourself and stand strong. You may even meet another man that will love you better.

tope33: They drink, smoke and hang around carelessly where you live? Somehow that description matches an ashawo joint! Lol. Where is this place you live?
Ivynwa: Where I live their ladies do plenty of that. Their beer bottles are smaller though and you will them standing by a bar or something drinking straight from the bottle like Mgbekes. The one I can't wrap my hand around is when they stand like that too and smoke like crazy and blowing out smoke like they don't care . I mean do your thing (drinking & smoking) if that is what you want but don't guzzle it straight from the bottle abrasively or don't stand around doing that like men like they can't sit down and do that. It is among such ladies, you here loud loud noise making like they don't give a damn----it just takes all the feminity away from them.
Where I live means the part of the world I am, you "bad-hearted never-seen-any-good-in-others" fat f**l.
I was tempted to call you a fool there but couldn't let my self do that. Friend, free your heart -o-o shooooor.

ufotuko: ok.I only use the macd,I use the 30 mintutes,1hr and 4hrs time-frame,for example when I get a buy signal on 4hrs and 30mins and 1hr is giving me a sell signal I will wait for them to become a buy signal that the 4hrs time-frame is telling me or I will just stick to the sell signal I get from the 30mins and 1hr time-frame but I will not target very big pips because the market may change on those time-frames very soon,I only trade the uj and sometimes eu,uj is a slow pair but it also has some benefits and also what matters is knowing a pair that suits your strategy and not trading on a pair because people are saying the pair is good, every trader has a pair that suits their style of trading,I hate trading on the gu pair because it does not work for me and I have a cousin who only trades gu and he is making his cash so it all depends on your style of trading and strategy,I do not like to trade with trend following indicators but I love to trade with indicators that act as oscilators, examples of oscillators are macd, rsi and some others.I hope this tips helps you,and will be happy to see you come back to live trading and make ego(cash).

I am trying to see whether I can learn a thing or two in what caused the GBP pairs(GBP/JPY,GBP/CHF,GBP/USD),EU and AUS/USD dippings today? Was there a piece of news that affected GBP or was it simply GBP being oversold. All in all my eyes were opened more by these movements, I was impressed by the strong affiliations these pairs showed and kept imagining what a good opportunity they presented for any expert that swooped in on 3 or 4 of them during the dippings and made great kills. I did read that trading strongly correlated pairs together increases risks but these pairs also showed how much such pairs can be used to leverage profit in one swoop. Whew!

Foreign AffairsRe: What Do You Think Of Oscar Pistorious' Explanation? by Ivynwa(f): 4:23pm On Feb 20, 2013
The pistorious's defensive story may have an iota of truth (I'm only giving him a benefit of the doubt) but all in all what is certain is that this young man is trigger-happy. His likeness for shooting/marksmanship is his undoing. I heard a journalist or something narrate in CNN how he once visited Pistorious and accompanied him to a shooting range and how he was telling the journalist "You can be dangerous(as in shoot accurately)with so so and so gun-----blah blah blah" while they were doing their marksmanship thing. He is trigger happy, he likes to shoot gun. Could be he was crazily angry with the girl and shot her in rage as trigger happy as his hand is. I am only giving him a benefit of the doubt in saying that his defensive plot may have some truth.

This craziness to shoot guns in real live, in movies etc is spoiling things causing the loss of lives. How on earth did they allow the careless shoooting of guns in movies just to excite human beings. 4 year old baby boys will be wanting toy guns to shoot as they see it done in movies, teenagers shoot off in computer games, adults (film directors(fathers and even female directors) play their own gun game in the movies they are directing. Why are we all being made to watch people shooting away at others in movies when us humans know that guns kill. Who is the fella that recently shot a woman that jilted him in lagos https://www.nairaland.com/1200597/jilted-man-kills-lover-family. The culture of "I-am-mad-mad-crazy and want to shoot everybody" don dey enter our Naija too. We need to lessen the shootings in movies and ban video games of gun shooting. If we all weren't being exposed to all that from birth, people won't be running amok with guns.

BTW This picture somebody posted here gave me a thousand laughs. Our sense of humour is out of this world(very rich) really.

Sold { Eur/Usd 1.3412 - closed out 1.3406, Gbp/Usd 1.5437 - closed out 1.5432, Gbp/Usd 1.5337 - closed out 1.5323} Bought usd/cad 1.0126 - closed out 1.0130.

I'm just a lil' stubborn on the AUD/USD. wink I may just close that out if it dangles for long and call it a day.
I wanted to trade that your gold thingz (Aus/Usd)downward as it descended a lil bit but I saw that it's positively correlated to Eur/Usd. EU seems to me like it will head back bullish so I don't think that AU will continue on that downward movement if EU heads back home unless EU descends more.
Good pips there, keep smiling. I like it when people make money in them betting things. You need to see me rejoicing for others if I am in them money game place grin and somebody kills it good.

Know what? Take a rest and feel your dollars today and continue another day unless you haven't reached your target for the day.
