Hummingbird: its not easy oo...cnt wait to av dat cute little angel in ma armsNne you better not say that loud enough make brother Davidylan no hear you -o-o. Shaking my head He will not like the sound of that at all at all. Hahahaha. This is one area I and him end up at two opposite pole and it does get a bit unpretty when we disagree on this topic. Hahaa. |
All in all there is nothing like closing those legs and being very very careful with these things. We are not supporting that young women should carry pregnancy o-o when they are not married, I'm only being happy that you are getting supported and understood with your decisions over it. |
@Buugz You may benefit from this thread https://www.nairaland.com/1191865/pls-advice-me-losin-it/6#14570022 Keep your head up. |
Hummingbird: I left them there..I went indoor, slept, then woke up..was doing everything just to keep me busy..I want him back but I doubt his love for me..I can force a baby on him..I dnt want to let him marry me out of pity..I dnt want that..I want a genuine athmosphere of love for my baby..not one out of pity..so I made my conclusion..I really need time..I love him but this is an innocent child am about to bring forth here..he/she deserves the very best..so I sent him a text that all I need is time..nothing more....so on Monday,I woke up feeling pain all over my body..went to tje hospital with my dad(he called ma bf)he came around..the doctor gave me some drugs..and we(jst my bf n I) went home(ma dad traveled)he took me home(prepared food for me)ws suprised cos he's not the type..I ate and slept for what I thought was a few hours(twas actually 5hrs plus)..I stood up to go to the toilet and I felt faint..al I knew was that I woke up in the hospital to see him beside me..he was there(spent three days)he was there all through..even when I got admitted the second time(5days)he was there...he seems to have changed BUT AM NOT LETTING MY EMOTIONS CARRY ME AWAY...my mum,his friends, his sibling..my sister everyone are just begging on his behalf..but I just need time...hope am not making a mistake...please help me...I need more advice now like never before...thank you allGirl, you have such a sweet sweet tolerant, exposed and mature father. I feel like giving him a big hug for the way he is handling things. Some other fathers would have not only chased you away and threatened to disown you, he would have broken the neck of your boyfriend as soon as he stepped into your house. Hear now, I was told how a cousin of mine threw a boy that impregnated his sister down from their two storey building. I mean their family was that unhappy, ashamed and traumatized when their sister got impregnated. Hope all things work out for good for you. You seem like a lucky person, some other Nigerian girl will have been going thru triple hell with the pregnancy morning sickness and tribulation from family and the shame-shame look from the society. In your case your father shielded you so much that you don't even know how much our people look down on this case. Abeg make una follow support the other girl for the other thread make she no dey feel like the world is ending around her. I will refer her here to this thread to come and get educated and enlightened too. Wait o, Hummingbird are you sure that this kind of understanding is happening in our Nigeria or are you merely painting up a story for us that will have us cooing aw-aw-aw-aw. Make I dance Azonto for my country -o-o abeg, Naija don dey sweet o like obodo oyibo and Ndi ocha people. hahahahaha ![]() |

Nikkykay I'm sure that you will do a great job with this other girl in this thread https://www.nairaland.com/1210012/im-pregnant-what/1. Your warmth is amazing, I'm warm too but you are simply great with this type of case maybe it's because you've felt the feelings of disappointment and despair that they are feeling now. We should still be our sister's keeper Ojare even when they make mistakes. We all make mistakes in one way or the other. |
Big hugs to Nikkykay, Dyt and others that are being a great support system to this young lady. Nikkykay you are indeed a special lady with a sweet/good heart. People like you are hard to come by. One almost wants to get angry with her on hearing her say that she already aborted three times for the fr*aking boy, that had me wondering why these young ones will just be opening their legs for young, irresponsible boys to pour in their stuffs just to make a fr*aking boy (that can't even man up to his responsibility) happy. I remember shouting in a thread telling young ladies "that these boys you all abort for will end up finding you disgusting" and that wasn't an empty talk. Poster hummingbird ndo, you have learnt your lesson. You are very lucky to still be able to get pregnant after 3 abortions and you are even luckier to have a supportive family and find supportive friends online to chat with and educate you too. I wish you a safe carriage of your pregnancy and safe delivery. |
@Saheed You may need to open your mind and accept mathematics especially if you need to pass it to get through your IT course. I wanted to say that if mathematics gives you headache that it may be that you don't like it but our views towards some of these subjects are sometimes affected by what friends/peers say. You may be in an environment where some students detest maths and if you imbibe their talk that mathematics is hard you will definitely be getting headaches when you want to do mathematics because you may already be having fears about it. I had school mates then that say all sorts of things about subjects, one of such is that "physics and mathematics are hard" yet you may get to a stage where you will start enjoying them if you put your heart to it. You may have to put a little more interest in it, get somebody that knows it more than you to guide you. You can also check them out in the internet, you may come across some good and very easy explanations about whichever maths topic you may be trying to understand. What makes mathematics stick is frequent practice, solve many examples and you will get used to it--- some people will even say that it is the easiest subject because it has formulas and all you need do is put in your figures in the formula and work it out. It's not that scary. Is it only mathematics that you get headache when you want to read it? If you get headaches too when you want to read and understand other subjects too then talk to a doctor please in case there's more to it okay. |
@naza You have to be very very very very careful dearie (especially if you are a young lady) in as much as you are looking for a job to do your safety should be priority. This is because some of those that will call you and want to meet up to see you or hire you may not be genuine people that really needs your domestic service. Ensure that you meet your callers in a public place(where there are many people) and go accompanied by somebody if possible. Be alert and check whoever employs you out with your head, don't be too trusting. Just make sure that it is a person that really needs a domestic help and not other dishonest services you didn't set out to do. Don't fall into the wrong hands okay. |
The artificial lips of that lady below is so annoying. . The skin above her lip region/below her nose was sacrificed/cut away in order to give her more anu mpama(abi na anu kanda lips abeg-o-o). Tell me what she is doing with that annoyingly ugly upper lip in the name of looking sexy and tempting to kiss. I so pity her. We humans sometimes overdo this artificial thing really, why will i start cutting up my facial structures in the name of beauty? The skin above the upper lip region, whole area below the nose of these women that do plastic surgery always look funny to me. I see that & I already know that is plastic surgery. It's beginning to look like a different specie of animals seeing them in the television and with your eyes trying to piece in their faces together, makes one's eyes hazy watching them and you just give up--sighing and wondering whether the person isn't getting close to looking like an animal .I am yet to fix some funny looking hairs on my eyelids in the name of elongating it, Ridiculousness! we get ridiculous with some of these things. Right now I'm growing my natural hair to get real thick and I will lock it into very natural dreadlocks and I am not gonna give a damn about what anybody says when i start rocking my ras/dreadlocks---somebody already told me "You know how we look down on people with ras/dreads as irresponsible and dirty in Nigeria" ----mtcheeew, who cares? I need me some good looking natural African hair on my head for a change.

Nice song but at some points the combined instruments were sounding like kids were merely striking metallic cans. She needs to find a good producer that will help her make a great hit which i am sure she will make in no distant time. Her voice was quavering at some of the keys as if she is afraid to ride that key and the next moment she takes on another key. The song lacks confidence and good combination of synthesized musical instruments. Hasn't somebody else sang "Jeje"? Her take of the "Jeje" is nice but not excellently organized. |
So what can make young adults like that so unhappy and tired of living as to kill themselves that brutally. They were wicked on themselves, why give yourself great pain throwing yourself down from that great height of a bridge? If many young people are committing suicide in China then the government needs to look into their society and figure out what is depressing the young ones to that extreme. People should be doing good things that make them happy and be living happily biko. If you are done with your work of the day, you can go learn swimming, go exercising, go out and lime/mingle/have fun with friends, go to clubs and listen to music and dance, go to football fields and watch matches, go watch movies, go watch comedy shows, go fellowshipping in good churches,go to beaches and have the sounds of the waves unwind/unstress you, go and lime in a music studio and feel like a star-to-be lol, go to isi ewu joints, write books, write songs, browse away in the net, go nairalanding (but avoid E-bullies & sadistic tribalists while u are at it--lol), go LIBing(view Linda Ikeji's blog---she adds colours and fun to your day), learn plenty things in the internet, think, think think just think of things positive and creative not depressing thoughts. Go do something nice instead of depressing, let no thought of suicide enter your heart----Amen, Alleluiah. |
I contemplated commitin suicide last week but i changed my mind. Trauma can make 1 tink upside down
Is it not better that you discuss out what was traumatizing you and have others comfort you instead of dying in silence and contemplating suicide. Thank God that the devil did not work havoc in your life and push you to act out that thought you had last week. I hope you are better dearie, now don't think suicide again, okay Baby? Say "Okay" ![]() |
Is voting on. Sorry I haven't the time to read through well. I am voting Onlytruth and Mannylife as his assistant. Manny sounds like he has a great carriage, i did want to check more of his posts to validate but haven't the time, the few posts of his I came across here showed "maturity". So make una carry on and get somebody to replace "Odumchi's post" maka ndi ochi achigbua anyi bikonu. |
Why does he need to tell the wife and turn things around into "Our maid is a d*vil trying to break me and you and apart" when he is the one that barged into the lady's room without knocking. Yeah he shouldn't fall for temptation and should distance himself from anything that will make him ere but not by painting the woman he offended as bad. He should call her and seriously tell her in a stern voice not be frequenting his room unless she is invited to sweep it that way she will get the message that he is not flowing with her guiles. If she continues he can find another good excuse with which to dismiss her but not make her out as bad. A 20 year old lady shouldn't be living with a married couple acting as a maid, she should be in school or a skill acquisition centre learning a skill and should she need a maid job to put body and soul together ---it's better done as a come-in-the-morning-and go-in-the-evening day job job arrangement that won't get her too close into the life of the family. High time govt/social care/welfare made a law about parents making money with their teenage/twenties female children in the name of maid job. |
That first page fr*king made me laugh seriously. What are those? The season break one is something else. What manner of human beings got that wickedly creative? |
Why is our Ijoya lady looking like that, I like a bit of masculine free jeans and top on the-move-look but I don't end up looking like a man. She shouldn't hide away all that sweet feminity unless she is just acting out the he-female for a partner somewhere, na them sabi. lol

hpk: there's sumfin abt goldie's marital life we are yet to knw, only time will reveal dat. He was excluded on the "Survived by list" on keke's press release.I agree, there may be more to it than met the eye. I already said that but that Andrew man still showed that he loves this lady. My assumption is that they may be separated but if they are truly having a peaceful marriage and he gave her all these understanding and even excused some stuffs in his interview then he is one hell of a mature man that loved a woman selflessly. It's so sweet the way he was holding her hand tenderly even in dead https://www.nairaland.com/1207061/picture-goldie-harvey-coffin/5. Did you see any of those people around her holding her like that? Only a man that truly loves a woman will not mind holding her dead body. If the girl dey alive dey distribute money, every body will be hugging up and getting close to get their share but there in her dead coffin only the one who truly loves her is touching her dead body that lovingly, na true love be that -o-o. |
I am surprised that the Denrele fella has this depth of feelings. Great Tribute there. Deep and touching. |
The picture of her husband in the page 5 of this thread holding her hand in death had me pondering what a wonderful man she married, that man showed many men how to love a woman selflessly. He allowed her fly her wings and go and be what she wants to be, he also allowed her make the friends she wants (like her friendship with Denrele,Prezzo), he simply gave her freedom to live unlike some men that shackles up women preventing them from making a step without proper explanation of where they are stepping to or even living their dream---after she died and he posted pictures of their marriage, mouths wagged and I was also baffled that a married woman could be frolicking with another man as she did in the BBA show and thought that there's no way she can be happily married to a husband and still be doing that. Some other men would have publicly shamed a woman that acted like that and even thrown her out of the marriage but Andrew Harvey's interview where he made excuses for her behaviour at the BBA and dismissed it with his reply that ("People fall in love and it’s not impossible to love more than one person, but there are different levels." )showed a different kind of mature man. There may be more to their marriage than met our eyes,a lot we do not know but I do know that this man displayed some mature love in the one or two pages of their lives that we were shown. May God comfort his heart and give her rest. She goes to rest with my respect for having the courage to live her dream. Reference made to this interview https://www.nairaland.com/1197682/interview-andrew-harvey-goldies-husband |
I think that they should remove that her picture there. |
