FamilyRe: UK Court Allows Nigerian Couple To Keep Stolen Baby by Ivynwa(f): 9:58am On Oct 21, 2012
THIS is ridiculous!
Seems to me like a modern day slavery thing in which a woman cunningly confuses others with false pregnancy and jets off somewhere to return with a baby. It could also be that this couple adopted a baby and covered things up to make it seem like they had a baby. In one of the streets of Lagos I lived in, a woman faked pregnancy and later brought home an adopted child, I was surprised when her only child/daughter who was like 13/14 years told me that her mummy just delivered when I never saw her mummy with pregnancy. I later learnt from the woman's flat neighbour that it was all a ruse to cover up adoption.

The judgement delivered by the UK court may have been arrived at out of frustration on how they will start looking for parents of the child that they do not know and they just decided to let the couple take care of the Baby. I only hope it was a baby adopted clearly and rightly and not someone's child illegally and secretly taken away.
CelebritiesRe: Rita Dominic To Tie The Knot...it Has Been Difficult Getting The Right Man by Ivynwa(f): 1:14pm On Oct 19, 2012
eric1960: Nollywood diva Rita Dominic granted Femi Oyewale of Encomium Magazine an interview recently where she revealed that she would soon tie the knot. Excerpts.........

.............When are you getting married?
Very soon. You guys would soon get IVs. Sincerely it’s very soon.
Has it been difficult getting the right man?
Just leave it like that. Maybe, But I am not answering. You are trying to push me.

http://.com/2012/10/maybe-it-has-been-difficult-getting.html
The way that her "very soon, You guys will soon get IVs, Sincerely it's very soon" sounds like she is running to meet up with others and saying "you think that the others will leave me behind? Dey there grin grin, better believe it, sincerely I dey run behind them o-o" Hahaa grin

Music/RadioRe: Hilarious Reactions To Tonto Dikeh's Songs by Ivynwa(f): 3:28am On Oct 18, 2012
pDude: Hmmm! This song is terrible o!!

But lemme tell you guys something. The song will generate so much bad news on the media that many people will want to listen to it, hence it will receive a lot of popularity and be a very very big (terrible) hit song. Just like the kind of press the ALUU 4 received. A negative thing but with a lot of popularity. grin
You are right about your first sentence, I have a feeling that her next song will be a hit sha.

Please can somebody tell Taribo to close that River Benue wide mouth nah. WTFr*ak is that? Jeez! grin

The producer of this song did not even listen to the song with his heart. There is nothing about the "get hi" that appeals to the heart enough to make it want to sing this song again and again. The "Get hi" is a good hook phrase that would have made a great party/club jamz and have everybody singing along if it was utilized well but it wasn't. I have no song out yet but I can do better than that, the melody of some songs I wrote are sweet on their own even with no beat yet.

Sing another song girl. We can't wait for that great song of yours Babes.

Funny write-up.
Great writer that knows to make words move!
Why do I love to read stuffs that people that make words move write? I should coin a name for such pips.
Music/RadioRe: Tonto Dike - Hi & Itz Ova by Ivynwa(f):
I am not trying to hate at all, I like to appraise the efforts of others. I looked forward to hearing the new song but was disappointed. The first one "Itz ova" I was only hearing a masculine voice. Is that not supposed to be her song? The second song I was only hearing some techno sounds, shouldn't she let her fans hear and get used to her new voice first before using auto tune effects to kill off her own voice. She didn't give me something to appraise and love the songs with, I will listen to the second one completely when i have time for that to see whether there are some fun somewhere after all.

She didn't waste her time in the studio without bringing us some sweet sweet songs, girl if you are reading better get back to the studio and do up pretty songs that naijas can be singing along with. You can do that, you know that. I know that we will soon get great songs from you sha. I mean you gave us no hooks here and you know you gotta HOOK them with that song. You didn't work on your hook, you saw how D'Banj had everybody singing Tongolo/di koko.

CrimeRe: Arowolo: Murdered Banker Was Stabbed 76 Times – Pathologist by Ivynwa(f):
76 stab strokes of jealousy, ignorance and trying to live up to the expectations of societal norms.
There is no rule that says that a man must earn more than his wife so a jobless man or a low earning man need not feel inferior, intimidated and jealous of a higher earning wife.

Let us be thinking twice when we do things because the society/our people appreciates it when it is done like that even when it is a wrong notion. There are many things the society expects from us that are senseless and wrong, a man does not need to beat his wife or be aggressive to show that he is the man of the house. A woman does not have to be dominated and treated worthlessly because she has to be that submissive wife. A woman is not only a baby factory and beast of burden for the family, she needs her husband's help at home too.etc

Jeez, that man vented the frustration in his life on the poor woman. He simply lacks self control and should not be let into the society lest he kills another.

I so don't like that her skullcalp, it didn't do justice to her beauty.
I like Skullcalps but Skullcalps look better when the front hair hangs down a bit close to the eyebrow.
When it hangs up at the tip of the forehead, it doesn't give a good look.
Yeah that publication seems a bit weeks or a month old.
FamilyRe: My Wife Is Pushing Me To Do Things I Don't Like Please Advice Your Friend by Ivynwa(f): 12:56am On Oct 16, 2012
Abuja1: I am a Nigerian living abroad with my wife,we are blessed with kids,I have a good job here, take care of my family, but my wife want us to be sending money every month to her mother, which I tell her is not possible if not we can't take care of our self anymore, she will start complaining that in Nigeria men open shop for there wife take care of there Inlaw and so on, now she is saying many men take there wife like slave here in Europe, i was forse to tell her if she feel she is been treated like a slave that i can afford her flight tickets to 9ja,have i said anything wrong, coz i do help her mother in many ways
Wondering whether anger did not cause her to voice out the feelings she is experiencing and some other things she is wishing for (in the bolded). Could it be that she is longing for a business of her own too?
Isn't this one of the reasons I think that a woman should be allowed to follow her goals and aspirations even while married, only a lazy woman will be happy to lose her financial freedom (and her ability to do sweet and great things she wishes to do and achieve) after she got married.
Music/RadioRe: Genevieve Nnaji’s Younger Brother Music Video by Ivynwa(f):
By the way that "se-xy-and-slow-stand up" dance move of 0.33 of the song is one of my favorites s-exy dance style.grin

Who was that last person that rapped in that video, that sounded like P square's voice and that rap is so nice----that artist is good with his voice.
These dudes are ones to keep an eye on, they sure are heading to the sky!

Good rapping there----I love it!
The rapping is better than the hook, the hook is not bad though just not very very catchy as to have everybody singing along.

The guy can rap good and he has got some rapping Swags there. Biggups to the fellas.

RomanceRe: Can You Tattoo Your Lover‘s Name On Your Body? by Ivynwa(f): 11:28pm On Oct 15, 2012
It's all hippie and a sweet love thing but only for a soul mate that both of you will be there for each other forever and ever and ever.
If not what happens when he/she leaves-----you may become the dumbest man or woman walking around with the tattoo of someone chilling with another unless you find a way to erase or coin it into another different tattoo. Again the tattoo of another person on a man or woman may irk/piss off a new lover that he/she is starting a new relationship with.

I saw a lady with a tattoo of her babies on her feet and that was cool, real cool. I can have that of my children but that will definitely not be for the eyes of the whole world, it should be sensibly located.
FamilyRe: My Wife Is Pushing Me To Do Things I Don't Like Please Advice Your Friend by Ivynwa(f):
You and your wife can reorganize if she isn't working and you don't want to be sending stuffs to your MIL every month. She can start working (you may have to start paying housekeepers/nannys) and be able to support her mother every month or you can be giving her allowance from which she can send money to her mother without it getting on your nerves when she has to ask every month.

It's natural for her to have thoughts of the welfare of her mother at heart and if she is a stay at home mum taking care of your family there is no way she can send stuffs as she isn't making money. If it gets on your nerves let her make her money or if you both agreed that she stay home to care for your family for you give her the ability to send stuffs to mama by giving her an allowance that way it doesn't get on your nerves and you won't know how often she gives stuffs to her mum. You don't expect her to be living in comfort and not bother whether her mum eats or not, you definitely send stuffs to your own people for sure. It is mostly men who are sure that they can provide every needs of their wives and children that ask their wives(if they are the kind of women that gladly prefer not to work) to stay home while they work for the money. If you asked your wife to stay home while you work---your irritation here shows you that you can't provide all her needs (which includes taking care of her mum by her) so let her work and hustle for the money too.

Abuja1: Thank you all for all your advice, but my last baby is just 2years, and if she is working the children will be paying more than what we are paying now,and the children will not have anyone to look after them, when they misbehave because the two of us are working the government will tax us the more coz we have much income, and I have just started our house plan in 9ja,with the little left after our expenditures and she knows all
It is good to help in-laws yet you are not obligated to take care of your in-laws. Her having to stay at home to care for your family has taken away her ability to care for her mother as she will like to so you need to be more understanding. You both agreed that she look after the children and you go making your money taking care of your needs & hers, she will definitely feel unhappy that she can't attend to all her responsibilities too which was why she felt enslaved. Give her the freedom to hustle for money too or if you prefer to hustle for both of you then you gotta really hustle for the two.
PoliticsRe: Bisi Ibidapo-Obe Is Pregnant For Dino Melaye, He Wants Her To Abort It” by Ivynwa(f): 10:13pm On Oct 14, 2012
I thought that the Dino guy is a single man, Bisi's side of the story made him out as a single man----why will a married man take a woman he impregnated to meet his parents unless he wants to take a second wife? What was she doing cosying up with a married man in a relationship knowing that he has a crib full of children and a wife.

She painted him out in her story as a man she has the right to be with, pick up from the airport, jive around with to the support of her friends----surprised to read that the man so painted is the husband of another woman. Ouch! Sorry Miss Bisi. The pregnancy is still yours whether anybody like it or not, so make your baby as that is what you've always wanted. It's a pity you got played at it.
FamilyRe: Pls Help, My Marriage Is Killing Me. by Ivynwa(f):
Why do I have the impression that your husband is maintaining a second family in that neighbouring country------
It also seems to me like he has another woman(not necessarily a second family, could be a girfriend/womanfriend/s-exual partner) in his life that have him comparing and feeling dissatisfied with his wife for him to be telling her (wife) that she is not valuable to him and that he doesn't gain anything from her. Living in different countries/living far apart permanently isn't the best for married couples.
