@Poster How long do you and your husband plan to be living in different countries like that? It is understandable when couples are living apart just for a while, the one I don't understand is people getting married to be together and living apart for a very very long time thereby giving rooms to the cracks in the marriage to explode. All the while the man is living in another country alone, what does he do when he needs you? What do you yourself do when you need him?----it seems to me like frustration is one of the causes of the abuse however abuse/violence cannot be justified. Your post does not exempt any of you from contributing to the problems in your marriage, you have a mindset that he alone must bear the financial responsibility of your home which was why you were extolling yourself for the percentages that you have contributed. I agree that a woman should have some freedom to manage some part of her finances after supporting in her home yet supporting in the home should come first. Your home should be important to you, there are times that husbands don't have and some wives carry the greater financial responsibilities of their home till things turn around. Your husband seems to have his own "dominate her by all means even cunningly" mindset that is also contributing to the problem, what was that cunning mathematics he did by making himself look good before his MIL and taking the same money he gave her away from you? He overstepped boundaries by beating you and that you have to address seriously by confiding in one of your parents/families, he has to be made to realize that he must not beat you. Keeping quiet and taking the beatings is dangerous. Most of your misunderstandings are rooted in finance, you are not coming together at all in financial matters. He has a home somewhere which may be one of the reason he wants a cheaper home for you and the kids so that you guys can manage your finances better, it is a matter a husband and wife should come together, deliberate and agree upon not when issues of money arises he maps out your percentage from a distance and you start sulking in your own corner. You can easily discuss these things in love and none will feel cheated. Your marriage is getting stressed from some angles, bring it all together and hold it up girl. If there's a way things can be organized so that you live together and no more apart, that will be nicer. |
webdezzi: those are my boizYou mean my Baby boys? Ain't I proud of my Babies? |
Are you cheap? No, you are expensive. ![]() Sounds like a lady business Magnate/Amazon dealing in the importation and exportation of d*ckies. ![]() I'm still trying to understand how a 23 year old was able to be rock'n rolling 4 different d*ckies in one year and counting 15men in 4 years. I appreciate your honesty though but you need to slow it down girl. |
Financial restraint isn't the only reason children are dumped, the chief reason is that these ladies don't want people to look down/castigate them that they are single mothers which is why I am of the opinion that we should let up on the views we have of females that have babies out of wedlock. When I see people preach "damn the single mothers" in the forum, I can't help being defensive of these girls because looking down on them is one great reason the younger ones look around and prefer to kill off their babies and hush matters so that that way nobody will call them evil and bad. |
@Jallow The daggering thread is really crazy, if you have noticed it is only ladies with no behaviour that don't mind getting that daggering in the full view of others, some countries actually banned that mode of dancing----that is way over the top especially if children are out there watching that craziness. I am still surprised that you know all these Jamaican songs and is even familiar with the lady artist Cecile. Girl, you are an amazing mix. 50% white and 50% black I must say--- .@Mrs Chima The white girl in the "Britain's got talent" is surprisingly flexible, more flexible than the fat girls that danced "put a ring on it". The 3 girls that danced Beyonce's song had me saying "Oh no, some fat persons just can't help being clumsy". They were moving so sluggish like their arms and body is too heavy for them to carry around. ![]() |
gnchetts: Please house I need an advice for this.@Poster I am just seeing the part you said that you were asked to greet his younger sisters and brothers in the morning. Wishing a person a pleasant /good morning is just about being cordial and saying something nice to a person, it is a pity that he is using that as a tool of domination & a way of forcing in unnecessary subservience on you. In as much as I don't agree with calling your juniors Aunty (as referring to people as "Aunty" is a kind of respectful way of calling an older female) yet there 's nothing wrong with greeting your juniors in the morning. It is true that most of us are brought up to greet our seniors with such greetings like "good morning" etc in the morning but that should be a greeting for anybody irrespective of the age. It can be irritating to meet very young people that do not have that habit yet I still greet such people without minding whether they greeted me or not. Greetings should come from a heart that truly wishes good on another. If your hubby decides that because you are his wife that you have to be the one greeting his younger ones, the joke is on them---you can be greeting them and wishing them a nice day when you meet in the morning and other times of the day too someday they will realize how funny they are making themselves look. What you have no business doing is calling a young girl Aunty because she isn't older than you to be called that. Keeping quiet and not talking to him is not the best way to stand your ground on that, let the issue be sorted out with another mature adult if he is refusing to see reason with you.
ok why would you call your sister in law aunty though?
Kail you may not understand that, in truth Aunty is supposed to be a word used to refer to your father or mother's sister but somehow we use it as a respectful way of referring to older females even if they are not related to us so yes! It is a Nigerian thing in the context being discussed here. |
The fact that this is an Igbo couple made this "call my younger sister Aunty" thing ridiculous because there ain't any rules to that in Igbo land. Respect your in-laws yes, nothing was written down on paper as rules for you to address each of them by. E be like say the man has some commandments and rules in the offings with which he must make the wife he marries abide by and now he is bringing them out of the oven one after the other. Is it only to call the young girl Aunty, you fit shower her and towel dry her when she comes visiting and get on to serve her food after which you can carry her to her bedroom as she don become her majesty because somebody just got married to her brother. WTFr*ak! ![]() Abeg no keep malice with your husband o biko, find any understanding parent of either of you to speak to him, why is he belittling his wife like that? What will he ask you to do next? Him think say i m marry slave enter him family or what? Abeg. |
Wife was pregnant for a baby that should be fed every day as soon as it is born. Cars and land are good but having something that will sustain the baby and the couple are the most important thing here so I think that he first needs a good source of income. Most people in the thread mentioned the importance of buying a car as baby is arriving. If I were in their position, I will first use some of the money to ensure that the sources of income into the family is well ensured and will go for land next before considering a car. Having a shelter over the head of his family, a house to call his should feel better than having a car. A car can always come later. We all have our priorities all the same so we are all right according to our priorities. |
There is no justification for a man or a woman to present themselves to their spouse for what they are not before the marriage. I have heard that such lies are bases for divorce. I have read another one here in NL where a woman deceived her 3 years younger husband into thinking that he is older than she is (she even used fake certificate either passport or birth certificate---can't remember which to deceive him)only for him to discover the truth after their wedding. How can one begin to forgive and live with such manipulations? I have seen this kind of case before, a school friend of mine did that to her husband too. The man found out after they had two kids that she has no degree after all and was deeply hurt. I was actually called upon by the man to come and confirm to him as we were classmates (she had incomplete papers which were discovered years into the degree program and instead of leaving when expelled-----she stayed on living a lie. She never even told me about it, I was hearing others mocking her behind her back then but did not understand clearly. She only mentioned it to me after we left school). I refused to confirm when confronted by the husband as I shouldn't be the one telling him the truth. At that point I persuaded her to be truthful and come clean to him after the husband talked to me and I realized that he has found out the truth by himself and she was still covering up everything. The intervention of one of their parents is the reason they did not part then because the man was very disgusted by that. We all know how it is in our country with most people trying to maintain and act up levels by marrying graduates etc so you will understand how disappointed a young man will be when told that his highly esteemed graduate wife is no graduate. He may feel like he has been played and a person that is not deep rooted enough to look deeper than a certificate/graduate may feel let down among his friends who may all be married to graduates too, Lol. In other words such manipulation can generate much pain in a spouse. It's an unfair thing to do to one's spouse. If as a wife I wake up and realize that the man I am married to is fake (not what he says he is) I will be so angry and disappointed that I will just want to be out of it all the next minute. Why cook up stories for a spouse to be interested in one, he/she may lose interest when it dawns on him or her that some parts of the picture/notion they have of you are cracked/false. Love is deeper than mere certificates and levels yet we can't deny the truth that some men consider such standards like level of education, financial and social status before getting married to a lady....for example... A lagos big boy (moving with the shakers & movers of the Naija society and wishing to marry into a big name family as his friends) that marries a woman thinking that she is Dangote's daughter will be shattered if he realizes that his wife is actually a poor daughter of say Dangote's sister who lied that Dangote is her father----such a man that "maintaining levels" matters much to will not want anybody to remind him about love at that moment because he will be feeling fooled and made caricature of among his highbrow friends . All in all one should look very well and understand the partner well during courtship. |
Wow! Jallow are you sure that you are not a Jamaican that mistakenly landed in Scandinavia. Lol Lol The way I love Soca music I use to joke "are you sure I am not a Trini that mistakenly landed in Nigeria". Lol. I mean I even love Soca more than the West indies themselves. Jallow thanks for bringing on that Chaka demus old school, you and Mrs Chima are making this thread fun. I must confess that I didn't have enough time on my hand to enjoy all the new videos you posted cause I have to be at work very early morrow so I gotta run. Will watch all tomorrow and comment. I can as well pep up our thread with some Soca music. Goodnight ladies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94jLajyMzyo This is one of my favorite songs, favorite soca artist and the video was shot at my favorite club too. Hahaaa! Check out that "drop down" style at 2.02 and 3.19 of this video, I can make effort to be able to dance some of these dance moves but I don't wannt to have to try doing that "drop down" thing WTF*reak, I can't handle that----you have to be super fit to be able to do that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT3d6JMTH0E I think that some of these girls crossed the line in this particular video, I will remove the video later ....just showing you. I detest that shooking thing the men does on some of them when they are dancing. Nobody does that wining thing on me. I almost get into trouble rejecting anybody trying to come wine on me, lol lol. I guess it's that Nigerian modesty in us. I have heard some Nigerian guys say that when they saw this kind of dancing for the first time they were like "Jeez, they are almost making love in the club" lol, lol. I just saw another video of some white girls(names sound Russian) dancing the same song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehrQB-_7zGQ&feature=endscreen&NR=1 Where are the moderators of this section? I have asked one of them to move this thread to the se-xuality section and I got no reply, we don't want kiddies clicking on this adult thread please. |
This is a cute video fo married couple doing the Wobble with their wedding party and the funny White guy stole the show! ![]() Watch the White guy in black suit looking all confused and happy! He was having a blast!
That was a lovely wedding dance. The white girls tried at that but they were not ferocious as the Jamo girls yet I don't believe that wining is a black thing. I think that any woman of any race and colour can wiggle and wine if she takes time to get it right. The Chinese ladies in the video below were wining away happily, huh! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twxf2LraoEE |
pDude: Smoking PCP can greatly retar.d mental function. Drop the pipe.
what do u mean by dat?
He means "Drop the damn pipe" ![]() How can you open a thread shouting "Help" and make fun of the people that answered your call for help? You smoking orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what?? |
Ehh-e-e-n so he let her "slurp on his liquified dopness and disappeared like hocus pocus" (according to the lyrics of a song)? She should go make her child as that is what she wants, the man can find another woman to "dey maga and maintain" face with. Shioor |
The tone of your wife shows that you are being too aggressive in your home. If you are not doing that she won't be talking about things that are not there. You don't really need to be aggressive to show that you are a man and that you are in control. If you cut that out things should improve. We are not in the marriage with you as to know the extent of her exaggeration but she stated how she wishes to be treated and how you are no more close to treating her like that. Shouldn't you be discussing these points she raised with her so that you guys can clear the air. BTW, A mail from your wife shouldn't be splashed to others in the internet to read. You sure can sum things up in your post without the letter and still make people understand your problem. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3JvLLXNAeQ I like this party music too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g5MuCVCHes I like this song not what the lyrics is talking about. I just like it whenever it's playin but the video is a bit unruly, Koshen should have organized a better seductive video for a song like that. |
hakuna matata: ** Coughs# sneezes & comes back to life**#%~!Thank goodness. ![]() |
@Jallow Just watched the songs, I have heard Chams' song play before but I am seeing this videos for the first time. The Jamaican ladies are something else with the flexibility of their waist line. I will post more later when I have the time. Do have a great weekend. |
are you mad, and if so, run to your family members with your madness. dont display it here. i wont derail this thread sha, if you like, meet me on another one.
You dey mind that Azpekuliar person, his posts made me want to use the "F" word on somebody(him) for the first time online. I will behave sha. Why are people so quick to believe the worst of others, even if they were told that this Cynthia Lady has P-orn movies which she participated in inside her bag when she got murdered, they will still wave aside the important matter at hand and go singing "Hey, she is a P-orn star"----A helpless young girl murdered, buried 6ft in a casket and they can still find it in them to call her names---bad-hearted human beings! |
