Happy Birthday Sweetheart! |
@The blessed Abeg no vex too much for the boys, they are cracking me up seriously. I am beginning to see different new species of Nigerian men. Let the babies be dearie, some are just sweet big babies throwing tantrums in Nairaland, ain't they cute and adorable? |
Posted by RichVkuntI don't see the need for us to waste energy on this poster because after expressing himself, he declared that the RANT is over. The dictionary describes the word rant as: RANT means (n.) High-sounding language, without importance or dignity of thought; boisterous, empty declamation; bombast; as, the rant of fanatics. (v. i.) To rave in violent, high-sounding, or extravagant language, without dignity of thought; to be noisy, boisterous, and bombastic in talk or declamation; He even knew he was making declarations that have no importance or dignity of thought and to think that he also called himself a K*nt----OMG! ![]() Let's declare the thread closed, shall we? End of Discussion !Richie K*ntie don't be mad at me Sweetie, we are all having fun okay. |
odiaero:OMG!, I no fit laugh abeg! Bu ha ha ha--- I am not laughing at you Boo but that part that read "all that on me alone" cracked me up real good All that on you alone? Poor you Baby ![]() Did you say to get the ladies out of you guys life? You are lucky you have already been born to life by a lady and that somebody else didn't enforce that notion of yours on the human race before you were born or you wouldn't have come into existence. You sure don't know how much we ladies mean to the masculine world: WE ARE YOUR INSPIRATIONS, YOUR MOTIVATIONS and YOUR LIFELINE in LIFE. It's a pity you can't do without us yet you keep denying us. Sorry, YOU ARE STUCK ON US BOO Somebody make some noise there for "the women" khutdrseszfdxgfvn,km.lm.lnkjvhgcxfdzdszcbmjnm.lmljkhcgfxzzfdxcvnbbmjbjf Don't I feel like hearing Shaggy's "Strength of a woman" right now? That our girlfriend must never slap you again, wetin? And she went ahead to hit your head with a notebook? Me I dey seriously vex for her right now She better watch herself, white or black o-o-o nobody treats our Nigerian men like that for us please-o-o M M M:Are you Serious? tEsLim:Unbelievable! pro01:One more reason to love Naija the more, our Naija is now full of gentlemen Gagas. Isn't "Gagaricious" variety the spice of life? Where the fr**king h*ll did these fellas spring from with these out-of-this-world notions? ![]() Anyway, I love you guys all the same! |
Stotle:Old boy you and your wife need to sit down and settle the differences that made her want a separate room in the first place. You should have left her fan for her, she needed it for comfort and was angered that you did not consider her comfort which may be why she meddled with your Telly. You two need to curb such violence before it becomes a habit (I have seen this very volatile couple that break up their stuffs when they are quarrelling only to make back up and spend to replace them), that is not funny one bit and to think that she did that in front of a child. Let her know that you are not going to tolerate that in your union and you yourself should man up and work towards clearing the air so that you can have peace in your home. How long do you guys plan to carry long faces and the wait on who will eat the humble pie? You can as well thaw the ice now and find the remedy to the problem that existed beforehand. You may need to mellow down a bit on her because you had me wondering whether you are not being too authoritative, you said that the fan has caused serious quarrel when she wanted to mount it before and when you refused she obediently packed it in her sister's room. If there were no quarrel in the first place here and your wife wanted a separate bedroom, shouldn't you oblige her her room before thinking of a library for yourself, here you prefer to have your library and asked that she put up with her sister. You may need to be giving her more consideration dearie, It is true that you are her man and she should be respecting you but her opinions matters too. She is your wife not the enemy that you two have suddenly become and are wasting sweet bonding times carrying face for each other and bickering over fans and TVs. |
I'm disgusted by this couple, their marriage is like a political field with each trying to outdo the other in order to draw pity from people. I mean there is an atom of truth in the man's side of the story because the woman's face actually looks like the blood was deliberately smeared on the face before the pictures were taken. It does look like the marriage of 2 aggressive persons and in the other side of the coin like a case of a woman trying to get some revenge on her husband or why will a marriage degenerate to the point where bloodied face has to be splashed on the newspapers? I ain't justifying the man for giving her those injuries though, a man must never hit a woman. Just wondering how two adults that made kids together can be undressing themselves before the whole world in the name of hatred, the acquisition of properties and power. What a big shame! I refuse to take sides with any of them, theirs seem too ugly to handle. |

Neutrogena transparent facial bars control Pimples, It is a kind of facial soap that you can use only on your face when you want to shower. If you were using it weeks before now I am sure your face will not have that now. I am not sure whether that can remove the ones on your face already within one week but you can get on Neutrogena products, they can give your face a good effect within a week. Just make sure you have the product that matches your skin type and that can give you what you want. You can google and check whether thay have a particular distributor in Nigeria that must have been schooled on the products (just like Clarins has) so that the person can prescribe for you. Get concealers to use underneath your make up on your day if the Pimples remain there till that day. It will be nice to have a pimple free face on that day in order to have great looking pics for keeps but if you are unable to get that, don't sweat the small stuffs. It's only pimples for goodness sake and not the end of Life. Smile! I forgot to add that you be careful when choosing the Neutrogena facial soaps one of them tones like crazy (just like the cleansers too), so if you don't want to tone you must avoid that particular one. It is lighter in colour and more transparent than the one that has no toning effect. I saw this link online to show you how the package looks like. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000052YLF/ref=asc_df_B000052YLF1561025?ie=UTF8&smid=A1GZ11YP7MKSC3&tag=dealtimemp2-55-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395105&creativeASIN=B000052YLF Neutrogena products are great effective products, their creams are one cream I know that you can rub today and see the beautiful effect on you the next day. If you were using them you would have been looking sweet and chewing gum by now. Just learnt online now that the Neutrogena Emulsion now goes by a new name "Intensive Moisture Wrap Body Treatment". Little wonder I don't see it anymore, I will ask around too. It's a lovely cream. |
omg! |
kandiikane:Yeah yeah I read about his claims to having a cure for HIV too, how come you did not hear about his threats to gays in Gambia. I got to know about it when he and his entourage were banned from attending the Commonwealth Heads of Governments meeting because of that-----never mind. I like to meet other Africans, I heard that your country is really making a great stride towards development and soon will no more be referred to as under-developed like most African countries, that is applaudable. Good to have you here in a Nigerian forum. Do have fun. ![]() |
I was very touched by this video, these are no new things to us Nigerians for sure but when complied up like this, it brings it home to you how much people are suffering in our country. Dear Lord! It just dawned on me that those people living inside that water have no solid ground to match upon and play and live, how can a person live like that? You come out of your home straight into a boat, How do those school children live above water like that, and the population therein is even much, those people should not have all that many children, 3 kids at most in that circumstance should do. It's not fair bringing in lots of children to this world and have them suffer------that is just too much abeg. |
kandiikane:@Kandikane What is the name of your country again? Gambia? Was it not your Controversial President Jammeh that ignited outrage across the world when he promised to cut off the head of Bati boys. Lol ![]() Different Folks with their different "Boom Bye Bye to the Bati Boys". I mean a black man is too gorgeous to wallow in that. Why is it that some men that are in the hair salon business like our Mr. Chika Wify come out weird like that especially the ones that are into female hairdressing, is it the exposure to all manner of people that they get in their work place? |

@Poster Nne if you know what is good for you just lock this your thread before the insults will give you and your unborn child hypertension or do you want more to be thrown at you? I think you have gotten good advice so far, you guys are already planning to marry so you can as well marry now, summer wedding or no summer wedding. People hardly support couples to marry just for the sake of pregnancy nowadays but here you guys are already at the verge of it. Where did you even get the courage to come and tell Nairalanders that you are pregnant and unmarried? You want make Naijas finish you? It is true that the world is changing and people are getting bolder but don't forget that this is our good old sweet Nigeria, the other worlds may change the ideals of marriage but we rock our own dearie. If not for any thing it keeps the family unit together and makes a saner society. The only part of that ideal-marriage-situation equation that I don't agree with is for a woman to allow that notion to make her childless, if marriage does not happen to a lady and she is approaching menopause, I believe such should have her children if she wants, your case is different here girl. It's a free world for us to believe in the ideals we like just remember this is a Naija forum and most people here will frown on that, for the sake of your health I advise that you lock your thread. Now I hope you are already getting ready for that wedding, we won't mind getting invited. |

Omo come see me speak in tongue, I know say when some people speak in tongue I dey here something that sounds like "senteribobosente". I don't understand the hardheartedness of some of us, a brother is going to the warfront and he is getting hatred spewed on him. Africans spend time ranting about the inhumanity whites did to them but here in Nigeria people are full of hatred for others that are of different tribes as they are. Some Nigerians are indeed disgusting! I hope this poster is okay wherever he is now. |
naijangel7:Did you say operations as in surgical? I was touched, I feel for you. May God be your strength. |
Do let go of the thought of him taking your child away from you, he will not. A man that does not care enough to know where his child lives may not want to be bothered with the burden of rearing a child. Should he come close to mentioning it, tell it to him as it is in your heart, I mean shine your eye and let him know that you will not hear of that. I am not saying that you be rude to him, when something is important to you----you don't allow others push you around and take it from you. You have to take such a stand that nobody will even dare think of taking that from you and that is the stance I am talking about. What kind of inhumanity will make it right for a man that abandoned you with your child to come years after you have grown very close and attached to that child to take the child away from you, no woman deserves that and he cannot do that dear. You seem like a very good and quiet person, I am not saying that you start going against your grain and nature but never allow the people around you push you around or dictate your life for you. I know how our society looks down on an unmarried woman with a child, don't allow what people around you may be saying distress you and have you living an unexciting dull life and perhaps be thinking that your own is finished in Life. My dear look forward to life with gusto, move with vigour. Don't allow anybody bring you down, live and love. Things can turn around for you, happiness and prosperity can come to you tomorrow. Amen, Amen Alleluiah! (Now don't mind that Alleluiah part of it, that's just me and my spontaneous exclamations. Lol) |
Poster's hussy comes across to me like an impatient person with bloated ego. A self contained and wise husband that brought his new wife abroad will not be ashamed of her speaking with her accent and will be patient for her to organize herself and start working. Girl, you may have a handful of upheavals with him so you need patience, understanding and endurance to overcome his excesses. I don't think that these weaknesses of his are enough for you to up and leave your marriage, we all didn't come packaged perfectly, we have our weaknesses. He may be having it tight taking care of you two which may be why he is taking out his frustrations on you. You can look around for an honest menial job like (helping out in a salon/shop/restaurant) which does not require papers to do so that you can be contributing to the upkeep of you two, that may decrease his outbursts & discomforts. agabaI23:Innit! Now that's the joke of the day. |
Some parents spoil their children in the name of loving their kids very much. GODSON2009:I thought I was the only one that has noticed how very homely the indians are, very family oriented, teach their children good moral and they can be very warm and hospitable. An ordinary "good morning" greeting from some indians can come out so warm that it can make your entire day, some indians can be very warm and sweet. |
Isn't it high time our legal system got serious with child support? The poor lady is not supposed to be taking care of the child alone, the man is supposed to be playing his part by paying a good amount every month. I am wondering what type of a person has a child somewhere, is putting up with his own family and feeding his children from his present marriage (if he has children now) without bothering whether his other child/his own blood eats or not. He doesn't even know where his son lives! OMG! tomorrow if that child becomes a DBanj he will remember that he is the father. Naomina When he comes to Lagos, encourage him to take his son out and spend some time with him, it will do your child good. Wherever he (your child's father) ends up putting up. It is important that he knows where you and your son live so that he can be visiting him from time to time and start being there for him. Discuss finance with him too, he should get responsible and start caring for that child and paying his fees. It is also important that you make out time for yourself to relax & unwind okay Baby. |
macjive01:Not to worry sweetheart, how can I blacklist you my paddy? Hope you are doing great? |
macjive01: @Macjive You have this way of making great sense sometimes have another way of having it disappear with other things.. The bolded statement you made above is very true, I thought about that too, now let me rephrase it the way it passed through my mind " What you (the poster Naomina) think is the best (career/education wise) for him may be different from what he(your son) thinks is the best for himself. I don't agree that he should be allowed to go and make mistakes, we all made mistakes and matured from the experience but nobody should leave his/her child to go and make mistakes. Children need direction and guidance. @Naomina We are all oriented differently, we all grow into the goals, aspiration and dreams we set for ourselves which is why I mentioned that the child needs a role model to look up to and learn from. You may be wishing and dreaming all kind of career and education for him while the career appealing to him may be different, this is why it is important that you strive to surround him with people and friends that can motivate him good things. Some great people of today were motivated by the positives in their environment and in the people around them. I read in the paper today where Obama was narrating to graduating students "How education made him what he is today and how his single mother motivated him greatly after his father left when he was 2 years old" Find ways to motivate him, what are the good things and subjects that interest him, buy books and videotapes of that for him. Keep motivating books around him etc I agree that he needs education to be able to socialize good in our world but if he has skills and wants to develop that, you should let him do that in technical institutions, schools or universities and not try to stream line him into what the children of others are doing. Don't alienate yourself from him, you have to be friends so that you can be getting through to him easily. I hope you have cheered up dearie and is smiling some more now. Plenty hugs and kisses to you. M-u-a-h,m-u-a-h, mu-a-h. |
Naomina You don't have to feel like you have the world on your shoulder because of the stress your boy is putting you through. First of all it is a beautiful thing that you have a 15 year old son, the problem here is directing him aright. Andromida is actually right, he is going thru puberty, at that teenage age the hormones rages indeed and such a boy is developing feelings that are strange to him and may be making him put up all kinds of behaviour. Children need the friendship and understanding of their parents the most at adolescent age, don't make the mistake of warring with him or not being in good terms with him or he may end up heady and revolting against everything that is right. Check out the scenario for yourself and see, if there's no harmony at home because you are always rebuking him for doing many things wrong and there's no adult role model in the home from whom to learn what it means to be growing into a man, he will get confused, angry and unhappy. If his father does not care about being in his life, look for a responsible man known to both of you (you and your boy) who you are sure can make positive impact on him so that he can be giving your son attention from time to time. It is important that he be taught discipline at this stage because if you give up on him and keep bemoaning that you can't help or control him anymore, he may get too independent and get out of control. Discipline is one of the virtues that can make him take his studies seriously enough. You have to make time for him, show him much love. You need to have a beautiful relationship with him, also watch the company he keeps and curb any influence they may have on him in good time before bad association corrupts him for you. Adolescents fall prey to peer pressure very easily because they are struggling to find & understand themselves and longing the appreciation and admiration of their friends. A family friend once narrated a story about his son that gets me cracking all the time when I remember it, in the story he said that his boy who is now in his mid twenties was behaving good as he was approaching puberty and by the time he reached puberty he started getting influenced by his peers at school so much that then when he(his father) is going to drop him at school in the morning, the boy will tell him to drop him on the way before they get to the school and will be quarrelling "This old car, old car----I don't want my friends to see this old car" and the car wasn't even old just that it wasn't the spec his friends parents rides. You can imagine such influence by peers! On your own part, let go of those suicidal thoughts and smile at life because LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL! Wake up everyday with the determination to be happy and you will see things working positively, don't remain depressed because a man left you with a child. The man is somewhere having fun so you can as well be happy okay, such inspirational words from the works of Norman Vincent Peale like "You become what you choose!, You choose/decide to be happy or unhappy" etc are actually true. It is true that as humans we are sometimes overtaken with some things but come to think of it, why worry much over some things? refuse to let it bring you down and get your "happy" on. Get in the dating scene, make friends, do things that make you happy. You only have one life to live, enjoy it Sweetie. Never think of ending your life again please, p-l-e-a-s-e. It is not the end of your life and you are still young and can even meet another good man, have sweet children so why waste your life? Lots of hugs to you. |
