I don't think some mothers are doing enough really, there are always stories of children violated in situations that should have been prevented if much attention was given to that child. The truth is that a mother will never be 24hrs tied to her children but she should be doing her best in ensuring that her kids are in safe hands. It is also good to help female (and even male ones because they get violated these days) children develop such awareness (a kind of sixth sense that alerts them) that should make them be very careful whenever they find themselves alone with strange males (and weird and unscrupulous male relatives too). Young female children (and male ones nowadays) face lots of dangers growing up in the society. I came face to face with many of that growing up, the good news is that God carried me through it all. The sixth sense kind of alertness helped/and still helps me a great deal, it makes you suddenly go "okay now I may not be very safe and before a predator can swing into action you have already made a way of escape. |
One thing we have to know is that "terrorists" derive pleasure from "terrorizing" people. We mustn't give such the satisfaction they seek by talking about them non stop, we are letting them terrorize us by so doing. Let's stop magnifying these evil that is rearing its ugly head in Naija, the government should get up on their feet and do what they are being paid to do which is to protect the citizens. I am getting tired and sick of hearing Boko this, boko that, Wetin? Mtcheeeew, Excuse me biko. |
Poster, how can we know if you don't first find out from her. The only certain thing here is that whatever makes her cry is a feeling deep enough to draw tears, it could be any of the things some have mentioned here or it may not be. Find out. U-u-u-u-h-h she seems to be overwhelmed by you, I bet you are one hell of a hunk. I hope you are feeling good sha. M M M:MMM help us ask him whether im remember floss sef Poster, I didn't say anything-o-o-o, no vex for me. Donlittle:MAN MADE MUMU?? Chei, Mr. Donlittle you dey vex-o-o, how you go call man pikin dis kin name sef I no fit laugh-o-o. |
andromida:There seems to be no good communication going on here really. Wifey cries and gets moody in the other corner and poster gets unhappy and sulks "I gotta divorce this petulant child" at the other corner and none of them knows what is worrying the other. Poster (I know who you are(your family friend) and you may not know this is me) Abeg cool down marry your new wife make we hear word, wife wey you just married the other day person no go hear word. ![]() Look at his petulant mouth "If marriage is like this I better divorce her" mimicking you Abegii. How many months old sef is the marriage, you should still be honeymooning, hugging up and kissing up. I agree that it may not be easy for two persons getting to play house together for the first time but be talking more to your wife, find out what makes her cry/moody and be patient with her. You are sounding like you have no time and patience with which to look at her face. Let me not hear you sulk one more time like a baby-- , big man like you! |
I agree that men tend to have less control of their urge than women but we all were also given self-will with which to exert control. The only difference between a man that chooses to exert control and not cheat and the other men that have no control in their dictionaries is INTEGRITY same with us women. |
2makesense:He doesn't contribute to the upkeep of the household, collects the little you make and if he is having an affair on top of it all your hard-earned money maybe part of what he uses to make another lady out there happy. You can continue giving him all you have until you wake up one day and your children have nothing to eat. How about that? You can also keep your arms akimbo and not take his unfaithfulness serious until he brings in HIV na umunne ya (and its brothers) home to you? You seem to be working hard for all of you and he isn't appreciating it, hope you don't forget to still look good for him? You must let him know that you ain't finding his cheating funny but don't be confrontational or belligerent. You should make out time for good communication sessions with him, that may help you know what you may be doing wrong and why he is straying. He should also know that you are feeling cheated in the financial aspect too, he seems to be cheating you from all angles here. Huh! You can't be keeping quiet and getting lovey dovey when he is taking all of that from you only to come and tell us what he is doing to you here. Tell him that the money he is collecting is affecting your business and that he needs to help out too for you to stay in business, you both can devise a way/method through which your bills and family upkeep should be attended to. In the olden days men do all the upkeeping in household, these days that women work hard and contribute he shouldn't be ungrateful and selfish cheating you like that. |
190: Lol |
190:You think say Babe go gree you, she seems to me like a heavy chick-o-o. Okay I will see what I can do and find a way to talk to her for you. I can't believe that you are chickless now with all these NL chicks tripping all over you Nnaa we must stop chatting away here, this is somebody's thread before Mukina and them will get angry. Oya modify and delete that ny*shy thing you wrote up there if you don't want me to be very angry with you right now. S.tupid! |
Where is that "all-over-the-place" boy they call 190? whoever sees him should tell him to come here before I count 3. |

kandiikane:Chillax Girlie! 2buff: kandiikane: LOL at both of you. What with all this kissing up going on here? Does somebody want to convert Kandi into our Naija wifey? |
monosetale:Glad that she is getting over it and has hold of herself now and you next time make up your mind well before you start a relationship with a woman, don't get all the intimate with a woman and start shouting "I ain't feeling her no more". Mtcheeew. Hey, if you don't like her very much at first keep things cool that way nobody gets hurt. |
PAGAN 9JA:How about we experiment by euthanizing you, I mean if the reason is right and valid, it is not murder. I'm sure it won't hurt one bit besides we too in Obodo naira are against homicide. ![]() |
@Monosetale Some Nairalanders may not like what I am about to say but I don't care what they think, it's what came out of my mind. Can you send me her phone number and e-mail, check my profile and send it to me through mail. I want to talk to her as though I am your elder sister or something just to make her get a grip on herself. You musn't desert her like that, remain on talking terms with her. You can see her when she is in the company of others as in avoid being alone with her. It's okay if you don't want me to call her. Whatever you decide, send me a mail on it okay. |
kandiikane:Hush Kandi! You better behave now, if you diss us one more time we will package you and send you back to Gambia through the cyber space and you will have to miss your nairaland. How about that? Just kidding |
Quote by 190Chineke Nna which one is mourning moon again 190, what are we not going to hear from you?? All those facebooking madness sha, methinks that there should be a limit to that. |
I see. So what would u give him? Your father threw away a teddy? Oh my!!! I would report him to PETA ooo ![]() |
Hug it of course, what can you do? H-e-e-e you guys are just reminding me how my Popsie threw away my teddy that I brought home from school when I was schooling. I had to pick my poor Teddy and hid it out of his sight. Lol What was he even thinking?? It could be that he couldn't stand that. Do men hate Teddies or what? Don't mind my sweet Pop. ![]() |
I only logged in to say "Big Ups" to lady Okonjo Iwealla, it pleases me endlessly to see women contributing to their society, making changes and affecting lives. Alleluiah! |
If you have no feelings for her, you have no feelings for her and nothing changes that. You are doing her a big favour in being honest to her but you know what? You can still quit the relationship in a way that she will hurt less by being there for her. Let her understand that you are being honest and truthful instead of pretending , lying and wasting her time. When she understands that it may hurt her less. You can still chat her up on the phone, have a platonic relationship with her and get to take her out to watch games or chat over drinks and laugh and discuss. Your innocent friendship may do her good. It is not a good feeling on a human being to be abandoned by another which is why she is hurting so don't abandon her and leave. I mean you can leave without abandoning her by showing her the agape love of God we are supposed to have for our fellow beings, showing concerns in what she does. Calling once in a while to know how she is faring etc. |
I am always touched and humbled each time I come to this thread. Abby4life and Pslm23 and others that are waiting on the Lord, I am moved by your plights. May God hear your prayers and let your cries come unto him, may he bless you as he has blessed others in Jesus name. May he bless all that comes here to share their problems and seek help , meet us all at our point of needs and cause us all to smile and dance. Alleluiah, Alleluiah! Amen. |
I am waiting to see more views of others on this issue because I am a bit surprised that the lady is being blamed for putting a lil break at s*x as she just conceived. Didn't she make a good decision in giving her foetus a little break to settle in first, I have read that s-e-x-u-a-l thrusting is not good for her at this stage which is the beginning of the first trimester especially women that have had miscarriages. Should a woman that newly pregnant be thrusting away to the detriment of her newly developing foetus. I mean does a woman allow her man to "thrust-all-the-way" and "thrust-all-he-can" at the onset of a pregnancy? Is a newly formed foetus not too delicate for that? In a situation like that though the break should not be too long methinks and a woman in that position can still express love to her husband through other ways and help him climax through other means that does not include him thrusting away.It seems to me that such break is needful between two weeks to a month after conception. The husband is being very immature, childish and wild. Is s*x all he thinks about? Does it mean that he breathe in s*x everyday so much that he can't give his wife a little support and understanding. Shouldn't he be putting heads together with his wife while they plan their family together. Having a mature adult talk to him may bring him back to his senses. Check your relationship and see whether you ain't overdoing "the break thing" by emotionally breaking away from him too and letting him drift away without knowing it, also concern your self with his feelings and s-e-x-u-a-l satisfaction even while the break is on. A break does not mean a total-hands-down-no-expression-of-affection or no other forms of lovemaking during the short break or no s-exu-al intimacy till you give birth. @kandi Sweet Girl I'm surprised that you are telling another person to abort (kill another human being) after you earned some respect from me during our discussion the other day in which you exhibited some spiritual depth. Okay let us switch places between you and that baby in the poster's tummy for you to take the child's place, what do you see? Will you be happy to have another person persuading that you be killed in that womb? This lady is newly married and having some problems that needs solution, it is not the end of the world for a child to be killed because of it and for her to abandon her husband and run just because others caught his attention. I hope you understand my drift girlie, now don't be mad at me okay. All the same, I am telling you the same thing I said the other day we discussed "You are entitled to your opinion". |
kandiikane:You sure know what I mean. I first tear out tissue paper with which to hold the bolt and close the door or even open it when I'm leaving the t*ilet and I mustn't touch the flushing grip handle, I use tissue paper to hold it before pressing it down to flush. You are even adviced to use paper when closing the tap on t*ilet sinks after washing your hands. Many hands handle these things and you don't want to pick no germ. Washing the hands before starting the whole process is also a good habit, that dude/chick whose hand you just shook (before proceeding to ease yourself) may have handled his/thing after peeing without washing his/her hand. This is not about acting up "neaty-neaty", it's seriously about controlling the areas (that you can) through which one can easily pick these things. |
2buff:My dear, my office isn't a dirty one. There are shift hands cleaning around the clock as we work 24 hours weekdays. I even see some of the female cleaners eat in the ladies but you know what? However clean a public t*ilet seat is looking even if it shines more than the ceramic plates on the dining table, I have no faith in it because it can still harbour millions of germs. So you mean that in your place of work you walk into the gents and sit on the same t*ilet seat that persons that probably have STDs may have transfered germs to (through one way or the other)? You can chill and do your thing on such, he-he! |
