LadyT:Oh yea, our people don't forget the past and they tend to judge one from his/her past. |
LadyT:Not her picture per se but her future, oh that rhymes hehe. Like i said earlier, it's a small world we live in. Everyone has a past but we don't go telling the whole world about just any how, especially putting personal details along. Our actions today can hunt and hurt us tomorrow. |
@OP, pls do ursef a favor and remove your picture here, hoping it's not too late. It's a small world we live you know and NL is even smaller. You have given out a lot here already and you also put a face to it. Just an advice! |
@OP, is the girl Nigerian? if yes, then you have no problem to win oh sorry, steal her heart. If you buy her a Blackberry torch and dole out enough cash regularly, she will willingly surrender her heart to you, in that case you wouldn't need to steal it, so i heard though |
Good news for my dear state. I hope he doesn't go back to pdp though. Nice, congrats to him! |
edicolove:To your questions, i take it that you are either ignorant or you choose to be. You contradict yourself further with the post above this one (your response to the other guy) but at least i am happy that you are beginning to make sense. You claim that the plan had been perfected before the elections right? so why hinge it on the elections? The issue is not the elections and not with Buhari, the northerners feel it is their right and turn to rule nigeria as had been handed to the by PDP. So even if it was an ordinary Onions-selling aboki that contested, what is happening would have also happened cos as you rightly put it, it had been perfected and they waited for the election period to unleash mayhem to the southerners. This is a south/north issue, a xtian/muslim issue and not Buhari issue, that is what i am trying to put into your head but it seems so difficult to do. The solution is, let all southerners come back if possible, let's see who they will now kil and if they will bring their jihad to the south, or in the worst case, let Nigeria be divided! |
virgo:Oh you are here again! Please read my comments well before you reply. I was responding to the gentleman who said the miscreants were shouting sai buhari and needed their victims to do same. I was only buttressing my point that the issue is anything but political. You say people's comments incite violence, so tell me what are you trying to achieve by saying i am trivializing people's death? Again, read my comments well before posting! |
edicolove:Mr, don't let unnecessary emotions becloud your sense of reasoning and judgement. Who is justifying the killings, i am probably more concerned than you are cos i know someone who was affected. How hard is it for you to extract or discern facts from what we are saying here? I am saying these violence has nothing to do with the elections and there you go contradicting yourself (see the highlighted part of your lines). Now i implore you to bring the links to all those stuffs you said about them asking the people to say sai Buhari, so that means if one said Sai Buhari, he would not be killed right? Who in his right senses will see death coming and what could save him was just mere utter of "sai buhari" and wouldn't scream it? Come on man, you should be smarter than this! The link we all read here weekend of a brave northerner who saved some southerners was that the animals asked them to say some Islamic stuffs and not "your sai Buhari". The whole thing is not political and i repeat it again, it is not political, it is religious and tribalism which was timed with the electioneering period. Now also if Buhari is responsible, is he bigger than Nigeria, this is almost two weeks now, why hasn't he been at least summoned for questioning by the SSS or other security operatives as they usually do? What i am saying and will continue to say is that the government has failed in their duty to provide security to the common masses of the federal republic of Nigeria, if nothing is done and you come here shouting Buhari all day, it will not change anything, let the Government do something and fast for that matter. An ordinary legislator, even a commissioner goes around with about 10-20 fully armed mobile policemen and soldiers, why can't they just make sure that one fully armed soldier is responsible for at least 100 people in that heated region? Think, think! |
texazzpete:Exactly what i am saying(with emphasis on the bolded part). It takes only a not-so-smart person to believe or say that one man is responsible for the violence that has erupted in the North. |
virgo:I knew it was 12 years ago! |
virgo:I see you are in Abuja, you can easily communicate your stand to Aso Rock and Senate. I am far away hence, can do little or nothing, so we can start with you. If you feel the matter is too sensitive for the Government to deal with, then you can help us educate some of them to turn their hate to love, as if you do not know that those animals are trying so hard to make Nigeria be even worse than those countries you mentioned. Let the Government start at all with "soft hand" and we see where it will lead to. Gotta rest and worry less about this failed country! |
virgo:At least i make little sense and if you are smart, you would have understood where i am coming from. What i am saying is no one person can be accused or held responsible for all these, we have had many of such before. We can't sit back and continue shouting Buhari while people are being killed everyday, something has to be done, i can't do it, you can't do it, only the government can tackle this mess! |
virgo:Madam know-all, have you read in the papers or seen on TV that those animals are killing people because of political affiliation? I mean do they ask, are you a member of PDP or did you vote for GEJ or Buhari before they kill? Aren't there PDP northerners? Why are they not being killed? The problem at hand is not political, get that into your head, it's purely religious, sectional and tribalism (which was timed with the electioneering period) and all in all, it's a security issue that falls on the table of the federal republic of Nigeria headed by your president, GEJ. |
fxtopedia: virgo:What right have you got to curse anyone here? I am entitled to my opinions as it affects me as much as you do. It's people like you that are causing the problem we are having in Nigeria. Please next time restrain caution, this is a public forum, don't bring your ill-mannered domestic habits here! Now take back your curse! |
I am tired of reading all these threads about whom to blame for the post-election crisis and even sick of all these people calling Buhari! Is Buhari bigger than a Country of 150million people? Is he more powerful than the Government of the federal republic of Nigeria? If he is then why rig him out of the election, he would have as well be given the mantle of leadership. So if those animals kill one-quarter of people of Nigeria, you still sit here and say Buhari is the cause when the man has told anyone who cares to listen that he has nothing whatsoever to do with the killings which, even if he didn't say it doesn't really matter. Come on, we have a sitting president, who is meant to be responsible for every citizen. Just last week, the minister for interior or so was sacked and that made NL front page and you guys started hailing him saying he sacked him for not performing his duties as regards the security situations and that meant the security issues were going to be tackled, but two days later, your GEJ's goverment said he was sacked for engaging in inter-party affairs, can you beat that? A country is boiling so hot, almost being brought down by some uneducated animals and your president is talking about inter-party affairs. Please, it is shameful and sheer cowardice for people to continue calling Buhari's name in this whole thing. This is a security issue which must be tackled by the Government. The continued massacre of innocent citizens by whatever guise and nothing is still done about it goes a long way to show Gej is not capable of ruling a country as complex as Nigeria and this has always been my number issue against him, he is weak and can only crawl when he is pushed to run. Let him do something and stop all these blame talks! |
You/your cousin should make good research. Europe or any other place is not what we think it is. |
Before i comment, i would like to correct you, it's Igbo and not Ibo. I don't know why you guys see the right spelling and decide to spell and pronounce it differently and it even pains me more when Igbos try to form and also spell and pronounce it as you did. In my land, we do IQ test before we give our girls out especially to non-Igbos, and that may be the first test - to spell and pronounce IGBO! Now to the issue at hand, no excuse here, bros you go pay and for putting her in a family way before bride price, you will be required to do about 100 frog jumps! No Igbo family wants to be an object of ridicule, so be fast in your preparation and go take care of the dowry! |
It seems there are more enemies than friends here. |
Here we go again, a president calling opposition leaders to call their supporters to order in a country he is alleged to be the commander-in-chief. This is one of the issues i raised about this man, he is weak and not capable of ruling a country as complex as Nigeria. What if the opposition leaders he is talking about deny any link with the supporters he talked about, so innocent citizens will continue getting killed. I know the next thing he will say is that Nigerians should pray for mayhem to end. Good luck to Nigeria indeed! |
What a shame! Well good luck to Nigerians, i hope it doesn't turn to bad luck eventually. BB still remain my agents of CHANGE! In my heart and millions of true patriots, you WON! |
I wonder the criteria for placing threads in home page. How can this stupid one be there? |
Buhari means well for Nigeria. It's evident when he speaks, he has plans and knows exactly what to do. It doesn't take a lifetime to put things right, but it has taken PDP-led Government 12yrs to even try to begin, it is totally unacceptable. I was listening to Cool fm online streaming today and heard that the just-concluded Saturday election which was adjudged a bit fair(kudos to Jega and his team) has now become a campaign affair for GEJ. Why didn't he give Nigerians at least 8hrs of uninterrupted power supply a day and then promise to make it 16hrs if elected, do u think i will be here talking about Buhari? I thought they promised 24hrs power supply last year, what happened? I heard it's even worse now. I hope these people being attracted to GEJ and PDP because of tribal and religious sentiments will not run away to Ghana or Togo to live when the hardship and sufferings become" immensely" unbearable. We have a choice to make now, a choice to change our collective destiny as a nation. Change is all we need now, little wonder they say, "the only constant thing is change". |
great match for Liverpool! Classy performance, my liverpool of old, |
I knew Aunty Dora would get this degrading state. You don't dine with corrupt people and pretend to be a saint. Power is indeed intoxicating, i guess this is her own way of re-branding Nigeria, interesting. Shame! |
Why should she have to do that? If she asked the same of him, I'm quite sure he wouldn't do the same. And must she have a reason to have all those degrees? What does it matter whether she wants one PhD or 20 degrees? Is it not her choice?
Read my post very well, i started with "marriage talks aside" and to your question, what will it profit her if she has all the degrees and never used any? Have you heard of d word, "over-qualification"? well i have. She's already got a masters degree and like you said she has her reasons for the degrees but if she doesn't want to be an academic now, then i see no other reason for someone who obviously hasn't started working, i may be wrong though. |
@OP, marriage talks aside, why are you packing all the degrees like me, what do you need a PhD now for? Do you want to be an Academic, then talk sense into him and go for it but if you wanna be a professional or a career lady as you call it then i advise you halt it for now, break into the career world, possibly marry your man and then continue later. |
These are Jega's words on this bombing issue: "Planners of the Bomb blast that killed or maimed corps members and INEC staff in Suleja wanted to scuttle elections but Nigerians must resist them by trooping out to vote" Now tell me, who stands to gain if this happens? This is just common sense and the Prof himself who is at the receiving end of all these knows it so i wonder why some people here are talking thrash! The Government of the day must be held responsible for all these, period! |
Dahbutter:Well said, exactly what i said above that some morons didn't understand! It doesn't take a PhD degree to point that out! They have failed woefully this time around! |
@pataki, don't mind the fools! They are as clueless as their leader in Aso Rock. If not for the efforts of the brave security agents, they would have also come here to say that CPC or the Northerners bombed themselves to prove a point. |
"@IYKED AND THE REST IT BLEEDS MY HEAR TO SEE PEOPLE POLITICIZING MASS MURDER. DEATH IS DEATH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. "MAY YOUR MURDER NOT BE SWEPT AWAY AS POLITICS". NO HUMAN LIFE IS A BARGAINING CHIP NOT EVEN YOURS. IF I CHOOSE TO KILL YOU THERE IS NOTHING GEJ OR PDP OR ANYBODY CAN DO TO STOP ME. ONLY YOU CAN STOP ME BY EXPOSING ME WICKEDNESS. A MURDER IS A MURDER. " What are you saying dude, how am i politicizing it? Cos death is death, no one shud be held accountable for it right? So do u take responsibility for it since the Government in Power shouldn't. Hundreds die daily in mass murder and all the Government can say is "Pray" and then the deaths swept under the carpet. In your case, i pray for you as your government has told us to , that you will not be the next victim to die like a fowl! |
Sad news, just saw it on facebook a while ago. May the souls of the departed rest in peace. All these things happening further shows that GEJ and indeed PDP are unfit to rule this country. Bombing has become a norm in Nigeria and i hear his solution is that Nigerians should pray, as if we have not been praying for good roads, power supply, good educational system etc. Gej must not continue, if this is a plan by he and his men to cause confusion so that people will be scared to come out and vote, they have failed. These corrupt people can do anything, they are not sure of JEGA helping them out again, so they can go to any length to cause confusion so that either people are scared to come out and vote or the elections will not hold in general and then Gej will continue in office. I see NATO fighters coming to naija soon. |
dayokanu:True! Couldn't even act as a man talk less of as VP during the Turai Drama days! |
