This is impossible. Jeddah has a population of around 4.8m people. The whole residents and industries in Jeddah can't consume 18,680MW of electricity let alone a Mosque.

Career / Re: IPPIS: Why CBN, NNPC Are Not On Our Platform by Iziquiel(m): 10:45am On Dec 05, 2019
PatrickOkunima:

Considering that we're in a faceless forum, I won't be surprised if you're not half as educated as myself, yet you accuse me of lacking the intellect to discuss a subject as rudimentary as this.

Yes, I wrote that, but most of the people quoting me, yourself inclusive took my comment out of context. Ideally, the CBN should be generating revenue for the government, but in reality are they? To start with, can you show me a proof of CBN's revenue contribution to the annual budget? Do that and I'll take you seriously.

For the records, I am not your average Nigerian graduate. If it were possible, I would have called that a public test be organized between you and me, an avenue for me to place you where you rightly belong intellectually. Besides, that, I don't have to prove anything to you. Have a wonderful day.
Your argument is neither here nor there. First, you disputed the fact that the CBN generates revenue and when someone corrected you, "you asked how much? Money that is not even enough to pay the salaries of two people ". And now you're asking me how much the CBN contributes to our National Budget.
Your question is quite funny.

Here are some ways through which the CBN generates income.

1. Interest earned on advances made to Government and on holdings of Treasury bills and Registered Stocks.

2. Interest earned on foreign currency securities and deposits.

3. Commissions received on foreign exchange transactions.

4.N50 from the N52 bank charge goes to the CBN.

5.Commercial Banks are fined by the CBN when there's a breach of any monetary policy or CBN regulations by these Banks.

Have a great day.

I am not justifying cheating but there's always a price to pay for thoughtless actions and foolishness

In all the cheating man deserves his violent wife

With the actions of men these days I see Reasons why you deserve the worst slay queen from the pit of hell,a user,a leech,a parasite,an ungrateful , lazy, entitled and spiteful woman

Women are becoming more irresponsible, wild, violent and aggressive.they sure learnt from the very best

You don't deserve love, you don't deserve respect, you don't deserve care, you deserve to buy care, you deserve women who add nothing to you but will ruin the little you have .ask me why slay queens and women who add nothing to a man's life are smiling to the bank and the ones still praying and fasting for their husbands are broke asf
You write like a woman lol.. You are not only supporting violence, you're also being emotional here. Are there not cheating wives out there that are married to faithful men? Abi na only men dey cheat for relationship/marriage?
I still maintain my stance that people should simply file for a divorce instead of turning violent. After all, the Bible and other religious books give a nod to divorce if one of the parties cheats on the other. The Law also permits divorce and not violence.
I'm very sure that woman will end up behind bars if the State really wants to carry its function. Her action would have been justifiable if she acted in self defense.

I don't support cheating or domestic violence.

neither is there any excuse for cheating.if you as a man is tired of a woman, leave instead of cheating on her

Yorubas say a cheating wife is capable of either killing herself unknowingly or the husband through her actions.THE SAME LINE IS ALSO APPLICABLE TO THE MEN AND THAT'S WHY YOU CAN SEE THAT ATTACK

if you are a man here and you are tired of your wife instead of doing hide and seek sex, keeping up with lies and updating new lies, just leave honourably instead of subjecting your family to pain over a v@gyna you and I know you just want to chop and clean mouth over
Stop trying to justify crap. The woman had no right to do what she did to the man even if he cheated on her with a million women. Ask yourself these questions, Is there a punishment for a cheating spouse? Is there a punishment for someone who baths his/her partner with hot water in the eyes of the Law? I'm sure you know the answers to the questions.
The right thing for any sane person to do in this situation is to quite the relationship if he/she can't put up with his/her partner's infidelity.

Stop supporting violence in whatever guise.

Read your Bible. What happened at Pentecost? Its says they were filled with the Holy ghost and started speaking in tongues. So yes I speak in tongues because Im filled with the Holy Spirit.
Most of you don't even know your Bibles, you don't know the difference between the fruit of the spirit and the holy ghost. You all think everyone who operates the fruit of the spirit is filled with the holy ghost. Any one can speak in tongues, Prophesy, perform signs and wonders or even cast out demons but it still doesn't mean he/she has the holy ghost. After all, there are Drunks, Prostitutes and Armed robbers who speak in tongues and operate other gifts of the spirit. Would you then say that those categories of people I mentioned above are filled with the Holy Ghost?

Joel2:28
"And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions"

Like somebody told you earlier, stop the self-appraisal, na the last day we go know who be who.

Matthew 7:22
"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?"

My gross with your girlfriend is not because she has had intimacy with seven guys you know but her emotional vulnerability, which I think is where the real problem lies. Some people have been programmed to be emotionally vulnerable and there's nothing we can do to change such people.
You could decide to forget about her past(which you are finding very difficult to do), move to another city and live your lives but it still won't change a thing about how her personality.

For me, I would prefer to get married to a girl who has fu.ked for money than marrying a girl who's emotionally vulnerable as it easier to cope with the former than the later. I no fit marry woman wey no fit hold her grand wen men start to dey flock around her.

Op, if your peace of mind means anything to you, then should break up with her.

Do you really think that I've got the time to go into a debate with someone who doesn't believe in anything? I already told you that the OPs narrative is different from what the Bible says, so why ask me who wrote the five Deuterocanonicals?

Christianity is fake, just as you've successfully and wisely deciphered and exposed the fallacy and lies behind that story. Don't you know there are worse stories in the Bible already? How can you reject this one and accept and swallow the others hook, line, sinker, fisherman and the boat without seeing the gross fallacies, myths, parables and allegories?
I don't know what exactly your point is but it's necessary I let you know that the Op's narrative is different from what is written in the Bible. So, you saying that I believe in other stories/parables in the Bible but don't believe in what the OP said holds no water here.
Btw, that the OP misunderstood this account of the Bible doesn't mean Christianity is Fallacy or Fake.
Religion / Re: How God's Decision To Elevate Man Above Angels Caused The War In Heaven by Iziquiel(m): 9:09am On Nov 03, 2019
Man wasn't even created when God and Lucifer had a fall out, so I don't know how God wanting Angels to bow before man or elevating man above them(Angels)could have caused the war.
Lastly, having read some comments on this thread, I realised that many so-called Christians don't know their Bible. They practically accepted everything the OP said hook, line and sinker without asking themselves simple questions or consulting their Bibles. This is the reason Christians are easily deceived.

Sad!

Education / Re: IPPIS: Nigerian Lecturers Do Not Hold Multiple Full Time Lecturing Jobs by Iziquiel(m): 11:59am On Oct 29, 2019
favouryemmy:

And then federal universities will become like private ones paying exorbitant school fees. How then will the common Nigerian be able to to afford to go to the university. Every well meaning country in the world still have public universities like Nigeria currently does. Do your research. Mind you, the FG still monitors the finances of the universities through the governing council members appointed by them in the first place. They have the power to hire and fire any underperforming council.
What is really your point here? Oga, what's the relationship between lecturers joining IPPIS and students paying exorbitant school fees?
Education / Re: IPPIS: Nigerian Lecturers Do Not Hold Multiple Full Time Lecturing Jobs by Iziquiel(m): 11:27am On Oct 29, 2019
favouryemmy:
Yes, it's true. Nigerian lecturers do not hold multiple full time lecturing jobs. It's a cheap blackmail by the FG to force the university staff to join IPPIS, which is against the extant laws that established the universities. A Lecturer is only allowed to do adjunct or visiting lecturing jobs, which are part time jobs. Before universities employ lecturers, they ensure that such persons do not hold any other full-time job before the appointment letters are issued. This is because they know that it's against the law to hold multiple full time jobs at same time when working in the public service.

Every country is guided by laws and the rule of law must be upheld by any government if not anarchy could set in. Universities do not just come into existence, every university is established only after the law establishing it has been made. Therefore universities have laws that are backing them as passed by the national assembly. In addition, there is an act of the national assembly that is dedicated to universities generally in the country.

Now, the law of universities all over the world and Nigeria establishes that universities must have governing councils, whose members are appointed by the visitor (the president, for federal universities and ; the governor for the state). These governing councils are by law vested with the responsibility of managing the university in terms of its employment, finances, etc. Therefore, university workers are responsible to their respective governing councils, which employed them. Remember also that they are employed by the visitor to manage the universities and they need not be redundant according to the law.

The law also states that any government policy that is contrary to the law should never supercede law. That means that the law is sacrosanct on such matters. The IPPIS will erroneously remove the power to manage the finances and employment of staff from the governing councils and this is against the law. The law of the land no matter whose ox is gored must supercede any contrary policy as is the case with the IPPIS. The government of the land must uphold the law as they swore to do.

If we must move forward as a country, we must learn to respect our laws else we would be inviting more anarchy in the country. I am typing this in order to educate the readers and to ensure that we do not fall for the cheap blackmail by the FG. Several MDAs that joined the IPPIS are currently regretting their decisions, due to its many disadvantages. Please check the links below.
Lol... You write up betrays reality. There were few Lecturers in my department back then in school who were full-time Lecturers in Esut. The former two-time Rector of Oko Polytechnic Anambra State was a full-time Lecturer in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Some of you have two full-time lecturing jobs while many Nigerians out there don't have one. It won't be well with any one or group of people who don't want this country to move forward.

Whether una like am or not una must join IPPIS. You guys are not better than our civil and public servants that are under IPPIS.

That is exactly what 80% of girls in that age brackets wants,They are not ready or let me say they don't understand what marriage really means.

They just wants it to be like when you were still dating, they aren't open to the fact that they are to give birth, niece and nephews will be in their house and breach their privacy at least once in a while, also they aren't fully aware they are in a new family.Couple with the fact that the husband is now planning for the future of the kids and hers and so many stuffs.

Girls and boys below that age are the most confuse personalities i have ever seen,as i said earlier 80%.

Not withstanding even some some people above that age still posses such traits but on a lower percentage.
A time will come after marriage Love alone can't keep you but respect will go a long way to.And that is what majority of people above 25 understand deeply.
Bro, so he not doing those things he used to do when they were dating is the reason she can't tidy up the house, cook for her children, beat up her maids and the husband's niece? I really don't understand your line of argument.

Op, I'm very sure noticed some of these traits she's exhibiting during courtship but you ignored them and went on to marry her. You said she was good at doing chores but it's obvious now that it was a decoy so you would marry her.
I'm sorry to say this but your wife is a wicked, vindictive and dirty person. I don't think she's depressed or has any mental issue as some people have posited.
Yes, depression has different effects which includes the person being violent but in your wife's case she's violent towards people who do not mean anything to her but calm, peaceful and all loving to her own family members, which kind selective depression abi violence be dt?. You guys have not been in talking terms for four months and she starves of you sex, even a mentally challenged women wey dey roam the streets want sex and some people say she(ur wife)dey depressed.

Anyways, I don't pity you and this because you noticed some of these traits of hers during courtship but you still went ahead to marry hoping she would change forgetting that, old habit die hard so do what you think is best for everyone. Personally, I think people don't change so I don't give room for management, let me manage this person, no.. My only problem with you is that you allowed your wife unleash to hell on innocent kids and you did absolutely nothing, the only time you took action was because she accused of laying with your nieces not because of the maltreatment she dished out to one of them. Both of you should be arrested and charged with physical assault.

As for my neighbour, I'm patiently waiting for her to injure her maid again. All she does is to beat the poor girl like it gives her orgasm, bark from morning to night. I don relocate from my bedroom to another room because of her barking.
