the truth is, after reading a lot of people's idea from all over the web, i am a little bit disappointed.

i am not the "average Nigerian phone user" that bashes apple iphones on everything claiming "high price for rubbish"

i've always appreciated every apple move and count it as an innovative strategy that just works. but this is sadly not.

innovation is not removing something to add other things, innovation is adding other things without removing anything. so apple was not being innovative here.

including the fact that wireless earphones or headphones does not produce as much quality as wired ones with a 3.5mm jack. that's sad. if i was asked by apple to choose between quality of audio and "bigger camera sensor, battery, bla bla bla" i would choose audio quality. so as a music person, i'm not going near the iphone 7.

then air pods itself is a complete joke. if i happen to consider it, ill probably be buying a brand new one twice a day, cos it would so get missing like a pregnant lady period.

even when using lighting cord, to think that i cant listen to music while using a power bank on the go? is a nightmare!

If he built a refinery of this scale somewhere else, he could have made the money much faster. But then I agree with you, even though he doesnt make the bucks as quickly or as easily as his mates, upon completion, he will instantly send them all out of business, and that's good foresight. You cant however completely rule out his passion for country.

Do you know why all the refineries in Nigeria are dead?.... it's because the government in collaboration with big businessmen killed the refineries so they can import fuel and make trillions from subsidies. Most of these so called devilish businessmen (including some leaders) actually stole money from Nigeria and built refineries in other countries from where they refine and import fuel to Nigeria and get massive subsidy payments; at a point, even Ibori was rumoured to have a refinery in south africa (a non-oil producing nation).

So coming back to Dangote, if Dangote was like every other businessman who was only out to make money even at the monumental detriment of Nigeria, Dangote could have made much more money locating his refinery outside Nigeria and joining the fuel import crew, but he did the opposite which no single businessman has done till date.

Funny how people miss opportunities bc it feels different from what they are used to. If Mr A doesn't like something it doesn't mean that Mr B won't succeed in it. I think every individual has his or her own destiny. This same place some people are referring to as fraud, so many are seeing it as a gold mine. I envy my cousin working with them because she makes more than me that has over 5yrs working experience as an engineer. People succeed at things that look so silly and too simple but trust us 'Nigerians' we want to always look very serious even when we do not have a kobo in our pockets. My point is, these people are making millionairess out of Nigerians and they are far away from being fraudulent. If you do not fit in, do not discourage those that can do it for we all have different destinies. #Nooffenceintended
