Look at the quality of iron they are using for Ore-Ondo expressway o. Later if they ask Umahi question on live TV he will refuse to answer and be forming performatory anger over non-issues .

The road is one of the busiest roads in Nigeria with so much vehicular movement on a daily basis , but see the kind iron rod dem dem use in its construction. If rain washes the road off few months after commissioning they will claim it is due to acidic rain that has been falling in recent times 🤦‍♂️
I think the wire mesh is to retain the position and markings for them to fix the rods after they have bent them.

Rwanda supporters get your calculators out

A Rwanda draw in South Africa on Tuesday will see us through to World Cup if we beat Benin at home

Rwanda already beat South Africa 2-0 at home

If only Troost Ekong didn't mess up against Zimbabwe, we would be topping the group
Goal difference between Benin and Nigeria is 2

We just need to beat Benin by 3 goals and we are through. Whatever SA and Rwanda play is really not a factor, if we can beat Benin well well.

In all, it's a shame. This has been one of the easiest groups we have had in a while

Why can't he make his case for the state of Ibadan without the SE? What is the purpose of including the SE?

Definitely Ibadan has more land mass and more population than some states, So if those should be states, why cant Ibadan be a state

Ibadan is 239 square kilometers.

He mixed up his statement. What will be correct is that Oyo state landmass is ALMOST the size of the entire SE

Oyo state 28,000 sqkm
His argument was that Ibadan should be a state, so I don't think he was trying to argue about Oyo. It wasn't a mixup. It's deep ignorance.

The ignorance sef is much. It shows someone like that has not traveled much. How can anybody say Ibadan is bigger than any state in Nigeria?

Lastly, since when did land mass become a valid reason to create a state? If na so, Northern Nigeria go get almost 20 extra states?

Please help me understand this.

So, I have always known that when building storeys, after decking a floor, it is usually left for about a month, before they continue building.

This is what I have always seen, and known.

But I discover that lately, people continue to build immediately after they deck. Is it safe?

I have seen it many times, especially in markets like Alaba, Lagos Island. In less than 2 months, they have finished one floor, and are on another one.

Can it be done this way?

The one and only time I checked his phone, my ears saw my eyes. Since that day I left his phone alone for my mental health and well being. He doesn't know I checked it because I never told him. I love my peace biko. If you like police a man and dog him like a shadow, he will cheat if he wants to cheat. He is a full grown adult and is solely responsible for his actions and inactions. As long as he doesn't bring home an STD to come and meet innocent you, doesn't bring back the demons of his side chick(s), treats you with respect and he takes care of the family, please, avoid drama and stay away from his phone.

My former boss was, and still is a terrible womaniser and his circle of friends hold advanced degrees in philandering, but you see his wife? She is his queen. He doesn't joke with her, and respects her. He was the person who made me realise that you just cannot police a man. Despite all the love he has for his wife and family, he still sleeps with a different woman every night whenever he is in the country.

If you want peace in your marriage/relationship, don't police a man. Just commit him to God and ask God to deal mercilessly with him if he, or any interloping third party ever tries to bring problems to you or mistreat you in your corner. Shikena.

The rape angle is merely speculations by people who never got to the scene
Yes, I am speculating

After hearing the account of the accused, I would rather speculate that she didn't want to get raped, and took such a risk.

Baba, the rape angle no make sense rara. If the robbers had tried to molest her, there would have been noise, struggle, torn clothing, signs of force/physicality but none of that was mentioned anywhere.

You probably underestimate how disoriented she was during the robbery. She panicked, adrenaline kicked in, she wasn't thinking straight and she jumped out of fear for her life, and not because the robbers tried to rape her.

Until there’s a report pointing to sexual assault, the rape theory is just speculation built on emotion, not fact.

My point is that she probably didnt know what was on their mind, seeing gun totting men who had already shot someone was enough warning to her. If they enter her room then she can rightly assume they were also coming to kill her.

When cultists came to our school, By the time you hear gunshot close to your floor, Many people jumped from 2nd floor even if the cultists ended up not going to their room or they were not even the target since they didnt know the mind of the killers

In such situations many people have done worst things just to escape, In the face of danger to your life, you will do anything even if some might think its not sensible. They were not in your shoes

Some people actually jumped from World Trade center many floors up when they faced what seemed to them like sure death
So what was the robber doing close to her nau? How did he appear there to save?

There are women that would rather die, than let a man man forcefully have sex with them.

This is someone who has a wedding in December, and then seeing 21 to 23 year old boys with weapons.....If it was just robbery, you think she wouldn't just give up her belongings and live?

She might have assumed they were coming to assassinate her and no option is off the table if you think your life is at risk.

That is also not the time for detailed logical well thought out plans
For women?

It was not her own house. It was a block of apartments. A security had already been shot, so already everybody has gotten the memo.

If truly she wanted to jump out of fear, how come a robber was close by to save her, but her weight was much?

You came to steal and kill, and still came with compassion to save?

We have seen and heard these kind of stories especially for females. Group of men come to steal, and after stealing, they decide to enjoy themselves with the helpless female

Elected officials are conducting protest for him because they want to win elections

Didn't we see Abaribe sign as a surety for Kanu many years ago, even offered to be Kanus personal driver.

That has been the only thing Abaribe can point to that he delivered to his constituency and he has won all his elections since then. So why wont others try the same method. Any elected politician who want to win elections in the East should just offer to be Kanus cook or washing his clothes and he is guaranteed election wins
How many politicians are in the East, and how many have you seen with Kanu since he was arrested?

The case doesn't even have any bearing again. The judge has been removed.

Ekpa that was arrested in February has been convicted in Finland. Kanu that was arrested for almost the same thing has been going back and forth for 5 years.

The minister's Bachelor and NYSC discharge certificates were forged recently, and backdated to his chosen dates.

I am not surprised that elected officers are now conducting protests for him. It won't be long before the entire elected and selected SE officials show him support.
