Did Rufai ask him? . Next time he should go and learn the subject of his interview before engaging someone who is more knowledgeable than him in that field.
That's the issue with oppression. You don't even know what a public servant is, anymore.

Umahi owes you the responsibility of telling you what is the cost.

Now, average cost, you don't know
Cost of KM A, you don't know
Cost of KM B, you don't know

Rather, you're dragging someone who even asked.

Your comment shows how much Nigeria has disfigured our way of approaching accountability. We see it as a favor, if we ask any question.

That stuff used to be a Local Government tax that doesn't really make sense.

It can be 1k a year sef.

How can it be 50,000? Well, Wike knows that some people will pay it in AMAC

Something that shouldn't be more than 5k per year.

So in the whole of AMAC, there's no SAN that can take this matter up for the people?

Well, may God provide for you all to pay.

Does that give you the right to build your house outside of lasg regulations

The same festac that is supposedly federal property people pay lagos state land use charge.
If the punishment for building outside regulation is outright demolition, then what is the punishment for building illegally?

At least, we both agree that they may have gotten the permit to build from the Trade Fair Complex, which is the FG (which I find weird), but because they didn't get approval from Lagos State, it's an outright demolition?

I frequent only three threads on this platform and I'm thinking of reducing it to one. I was surprised when I saw the number of threads he starts his daily routine with.

This thread for example, sometimes when you come here you meet countless new pages, and you try to read everything, before you know it you have spent an hour or more. Imagine being in that situation in 10 threads. grin It'll surely affect your productivity.

That's the reason I stopped using tiktok. I was getting too invested in it, and it even made me lose money on a signal I didn't close on time because I was on tiktok instead of watching the signal to take profit. I deleted it asap.
To be honest, his selections aren't much.

When your threads are mostly educative, it doesn't look burdensome.

My list is similar to his, but I only comment here. The rest, I just read on, without engaging anyone

The only issue I have with demolitions is that the government makes it look like the victim is all at fault. Someone was signing off these papers. Why can't we also see those who are aiding these illegal structures in the government?

As for Trade fair, we all know they got a lease from the FG in the 90s, and I think it's for 99 years. That lease is just for the markets.

If the FG started selling off all the lands there to build warehouses, then Nigeria has a problem. Even the International Trade Fair Complex that we usually visit as a kid then, warehouses don dey full am.

Well, I still believe that some persons in the government (FG or LASG) are always into these kind of frauds.

The major thing i will draw from this story is that you should stop rushing to take Diclofenac every time you have a musculoskeletal issue. Your kidneys will thank you. Panadol plus ice pack in the first 48hrs (heat pack after 48hrs) plus TIME will do the job.

Sometimes the treatment causes more calamity than the initial problem. If you take Diclofenac (and other NSAIDs) often enough and in high enough doses, you will create a problem for yourself.
God!

And if you see how Nigerians rush to take Diclofenac at any slightest pain?

You claimed PMB was an absolute disaster who did nothing which is why I added the context of infrastructure into the conversation.

Yes GEJ and OBJ built some roads but if it was consequential or monumental you would have mentioned it.

Plus the loans he took like the one he used build the Lagos-Ibadan rail what alternative financing model do you suggest he should have used in its place?

Consequential infrastructure is key to every country's development and GEJ/OBJ don't have been enough of those. For OBJ i can even give him a little pass because it was under him that the LNG train 3 gas project materialized which has added to our revenue.

I never claimed Buhari was a great or the best president I'm just advocating for a nuanced conversation where you analysis every aspect of a president's tenure.

OBJ for instance was a great economic driver who worked to ensure our debts were cancelled but we shouldn't forget he failed in other respects. Niger-Delta crisis became full blown under Obasanjo. People died in multiple religious riots under OBJ, Massive corruption of NASS started under OBJ. Political assassination nko? Sham elections that results will be announced while polls are still ongoing.

GEJ good democrat who improved our electoral process yet ruined our economy that reserves were depleted with no noticeable infrastructural investment in sight. Boko Haram became a monster under him.

So depending who you ask anyone can say can give their own opinion which is why criteria for passing judgment is important if not I can also say Abacha and Buhari were better than OBJ and PBAT respectively because price of fuel and foodstuff was cheaper in their tenure.
I said Buhari is the worst since 1999. There's nowhere I said he did nothing. Because you wanted to give him small flowers, you said this. I never said so

You agreed with me, but decided to make a path of escape; which obviously isn't part of my discussion..

Obasanjo
GEJ
Buhari

Rate them from Bad to worse....I'm obviously sure Buhari wins the Ballon D'Worst.

If we're judging strictly on economy PMB was a complete disaster followed by GEJ who depleted reserves despite record revenues from crude oil made during his tenure.

Now you judge based on infrastructure who built the most start to finish?

For me off the top of my head Second Niger Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan rail, Itakpe-Warri Rail, Kaduna-Abuja Rail (carveat GEJ started it), refurbished Lagos-Ibadan express, plus others happened under PMB.

How many did OBJ and GEJ do?
Let me first exclude the part where he used loans from start to finish.

Can we agree that there roads were OBJ did, and GEJ, and then Buhari did?

Or are you saying nobody tarred 1 km of road from 1999 till now?

Or should we say Buhari did not do any road, since Tinubu is doing East West road, Damaturu to Maiduguri, and Enugu to Onitsha?

The issue of selling infrastructure through roads doesn't really weigh much. Everybody will do and go..

That said, is this the only reason why Buhari is better that others? Ruined the economy and security, but he did one rail and roads?

I'm not a fan of PMB but let's not completely call a dog a bad name to kill it.

Yes Boko Haram is still a problem however the situation under Buhari improve compared to when GEJ was in charge. And as bad as Buhari was some of the Chibok girls were rescued/released.

His mishandling of the IPOB situation and complete failure to address the banditry/killer herdsmen issue nullified whatever progress he made in reducing the effectiveness of Boko Haram in the NE.

As per being appointed to negotiate on behalf of Boko Haram I remember Buhari rejecting their advances which led to them almost killing him in Kaduna so make of it what you will.
What exactly makes him better than Obasanjo and GEJ? Let me use people who served more than 4 years?

I said he's the worst since 1999. So what exactly makes him better than any of the two?

Clear my doubts, if you think I'm just hanging a bad name on it

Apart from being unable to solve Boko Haram issue till DATE; ISWAP, Fulani Herdsmen, Bandits and Uunknown gunmen were added to our insecurity vocabulary within their 8 years tenure.

Garba Shehu is here saying Buhari did not negotiate for Boko Haram as if Jonathan claimed otherwise. I know it is that Jonathan's expectation that is paining him ; he knows Jonathan's expectation was what most Nigerians who voted for them had but were later disappointed. He's only angry that Jonathan is reminding Nigerians of Buhari government's failure.
