What is the distances of the Kano to Maiduguri The distance from Kano to Maiduguri should be more than 100km given in that sheet

There is another Damaturu to Maiduguri under NW, plus Lokoja to Okene under NW and Benue to 9th mile under NW

whoever came up with the graphics and the justification is foolish
Apologizing for this error would have been better

I checked SE.

Enugu-Onitsha is repeated twice (Something Buhari had agreed with MTN in his time)

Then there's 2nd Niger Bridge access road, which is also repeated for the SS

So they listed Kano to Maiduguri under NW

And Damaturu to Maiduguri under NE

But it's the same road. From Kano, you have to pass Damaturu to get to Maiduguri

Lagos benefits everybody and draws the most capital investment so they don't want to show an outsized Yoruba bias

If you look at the biggest infrastructure projects Nigeria is in need of - MMIA expansion, 3rd MB maintenance, only Lagos fit swallow more than 50% of all Capital investment (added to Lagos-Calabar coastal road which is already ongoing) so they don't want to provide a stick for ethnic jingoists to beat them with
Raumdeuter just showed that even with it added, the NW is still bigger.

The person investing in Lagos called it no man's land so he won't be accused of favouring his tribe, but he is right, Lagos is one of the only places in Nigeria where investment yields real returns. A good capitalist puts his money where there are returns.

which is actually easy to explain. Just do a population by region and you will see it aligns
Ohh. I didn't see that.

Saying a player must play at their peak for five years before we call them world-class is too strict. In today’s football, world-class means being one of the best in your position right now, not after serving time. With stats and tough competitions to judge from, it’s easier to spot when a player is already performing at the very top level.

A world-class player should be judged by their numbers, how well they perform in big games, and how much they improve their team. Some players can show this in just one or two seasons, especially if they are playing in the best leagues or major tournaments.

Also, not every world-class player has to break records. You can be world-class without breaking a single record, does it mean a striker has to score 91 goals in a calendar year like Messi before he can be called world-class? Definitely not. Defenders, midfielders, and playmakers can be world-class because they control games, stop opponents, or create chances that change results. Consistency truly matters, but world-class is really about beinh among the best in the world at your time, and players can prove that without waiting for donkey years.
Thank you.

What of FG projects wey touch Lagos small? Project wey wan enter Lagos but turned around? The authors of the charts are just dumb

Which category does the 3rd mainland to Carter bridge enters into
I think it's intentional

Adding the percentage of Lagos and the SW, will put the SW above all regions. Tinubu already said he has done more for NW than others. So he needs to win their hearts

So this is the best way to put it. NW still becomes the highest beneficiary (excluding Lagos)

All am saying is that, you can't call a 18yrs old player World class who literally hasn't have up to 5 season of professional football to his name, performance or stats wise, less than 5 seasons is not good enough to rate a player up to a world class level.

But if you feel one or two seasons is good enough, then that's generous from you, but that mean we may have many players who are world class.
The potential is my point.

He shared a list of young players. A 28 years old is the oldest there. How can you say there's no World class player there, even though we know time can change it or not?

People break sporting records at 18, 20, 21. What years of consistency do you think they have?

Yamal is a World class player as at today. Over time, he will prove it with stats.

Whoever put up the graphics has no sense. If you listed a project Lagos-Ibadan, Lagos to Sagamu as (excluding Lagos). Then I will like to see the projects listed under Lagos

Lagos Calabar road will be listen under which region? Lagos, SW or SS

Trying to divide the projects by region is foolish, especially road projcts that might span 2 or more regions

Sokoto - Badagry goes from NW to NC to SW. So which region are we going to credit that for? Or Lokoja-Benin that goes from NC to SS
While I agree with you, the Presidency has always made it look like a Lagos project from the start.

And that's why Bwala is explaining his way through, by capping.

Imagine listing roads in the SW (excluding Lagos), and listing 3rd Mainland and Carter Bridge there.

I expected the Presidency to say it's an error, rather, a Media aide is explaining why Lagos should be different

He should be consistent for at least 3yrs more with his performance and improve on his stats.

Bwala didn't say anything new, he only confirmed the age long fact that Lagos didn't become what it is today because of any phantom master strategist anywhere, rather it has benefited immensely from its status as the commercial nerve center of Nigeria. The state has been privileged to enjoy federal government's benevolence for decades under successful governments and he's making a case for the state to get more federal government's intervention under this current administration.

That Lagos is ethnically Yoruba and located in the Southwestern part of Nigeria has never been in doubt.

People will just use World class on players because the have a good few seasons.

exceptional skill, unparalleled consistency over time, the ability to perform at their peak in high-pressure situations, and a profound impact on their team's success.

See the bolded, that is what define a world class players for me, you must peak for at least 5yrs in performance, stats wise, your numbers should not diminished, set a record, break a record or match your record.

Consistently is key to reach that World class status. Just two good yrs cannot give a player a world status, people saying Isak, Wirtz and Caicedo are world class is quite bizarre, just two good season is not enough to get a world class shout.
World class is a potential, and not seasons upon seasons.

If the potential is there, the person can be World class, and time will prove it.

Ronaldo was already World class in Manchester United.

Lewandowski

Salah
Haaland
Good.

So Lewandowski is the oldest on your list here. He got to a top tier European club in 2010. That's when he started for Dortmund

In the former list you posted, Diaz is the oldest, and got to an European stage in 2019.

So, before you even knew Diaz, Lewandowski has spent 8 seasons in Europe.

Do you see that your definition of World class is seriously unfair and biased to the people on that list?
