Likely where his margins are. Since lagos will do far more volume than the other states

Maybe also hedging against Lagos traffic.

Hmm

These cng trucks are at least for now eliminating one of the most annoying issues logistics companies have - drivers stealing diesel or buying adulterated diesel on the road

This fight is not between dangote and unions - it is between dangote and other downstream companies.

A Total dealer pays Total for 45000 litres. Truck delivers from depot to station. Dealer is paying for the fuel and also for transport. Also absorbing loss of stolen product. Dangote is saying don't buy from Total depot - buy direct from me and you get free shipping.

As it is it is only independents that can key into this. You can't be a total branded partner and be buying direct from dangote.

Doesn't work that way

But independents likely do not have the cash for dangote cash and carry arrangements.
I don't even think anybody checks the price of PMS anymore before buying.

I know Total sells the highest, and people buy there

Any which way sha, all of them will be fine

Your support for NUPENG is getting questionable. What exactly is the benefit of NUPENG to our economy?
I'm sure dangote is sensible enough to do something about this. Even if drivers will join any union, only few will join. No union is mandatory under the law.
What has a Union got to do with your economy?

So while other oil companies have Unions, Dangote shouldn't have any because?

Is it NUPENG that removed subsidy, or is it them that floated the naira? What exactly is your issue with people who are minding their business?

Lmao.
What happens to the truck union?
Coz Dangote has basically taken out middlemen. Atleast for now
Middle men, maybe
Truck Union? I doubt

All Dangote has done is set a price that either other marketers must beat, or they join him.

There are other oil companies like Petrocam, Rain Oil, Shafa, that have a large fleet. Will they throw their trucks away, because Dangote is doing free delivery?

Let's see how it goes. Either way, NUPENG just added 4000 drivers to their strength. The Union dey stronger by the day.

This is a terrible opinion. Dude was killed because he spoke against left depravity. He managed to convince so many college kids on why they should vote for Trump. This was obviously a political assassination.

I don’t agree with him always but I believe everyone should own a gun in a working country. I was robbed of my phone at Aroma, Awka at gunpoint when i whined down to yell at a woman to move her car. If I had a gun, those boys wouldn’t have gotten away with it.

Even further, we have seen a villages sacked by few armed men in Nigeria. In which US state can such thing happen.
If you had a gun, those boys would have opened fire on you first, because they know you have one and you wouldn't even live to tell this story.

So while you think having a gun didn't save your phone, it actually saved your life.

That shakabula is the deterrent that will make criminals not just decide to visit you without hoping to be challenged like herdsmen and bandits do in Naija

If you are guaranteed that no one will have a gun then it can be pushed for guns to be taken away from everyone. Its like you are in an exam hall and you are certain that no one is cheating then it makes it better

But when others have chatgpt on their laptop/phone and you are not, you have only disadvantaged yourself
Even if Charlie had 10 guns in his pocket yesterday, he won't have survived that hit.

You can only use your gun when you are aware of a threat. Most times, you aren't

You guys should just be careful over there sha.

Related, not the same.

Having a gun can protect you from danger, so he is correct.
The person who shot him probably thought he was the "danger"

The moment you put a gun on the table, you have given violence a room. It doesn't matter what side of the divide you stand on.

How is Mbadinuju smashed your wife part of politics? Is this Tupac vs Biggie "Hit em up"?
You cannot insult someone, and then try to draw the line. Lying that someone forged a PhD is not also part of politics.

The woman is not in power. Has never been governor at any time. Instead of a Governor who already has the advantage of his "works", to use that and destabilize his contenders, he started to meddle with lies and gossips. What was he expecting?

I think Soludo should just ignore her. Most likely she is not a factor in the election

That is not what happened as narrated by the governor in the video. He is complaining why an oil producing company would not have at least one registered office in the state.

As we speak shell has a full fledged office in PH and dem get staff quarters sef.
But the state is not safe nau.

Let's even agree that these companies didn't have an office before now (When there wasn't insecurity), why should they now have them?

Governors should stop acting like what is befalling their states is mysterious. The state isn't safe and until that is solved, nothing happens.

Na by force to join union? His workers should join union so that they'll be going on strike anyhow, and disrupting his business? No businessman irrespective of the clime will be happy about his workers joining, or creating any union.
It is not a by force thing...It's a law, that your workers decide (not the employer).

I am very sure any worker wants a Union. Unions are of more benefits to the workers than employers.

Can we all see how NUPENG, PENGASSAN and the Retail Fuel Outlet Owners are sabotaging the country & Nigerians?

This morning, I dropped the kids at school. On the way out, I noticed most filling stations were closed, and the few that were open did not allow vehicle entry and were only dispensing into jerrycans. Luckily, I had a 10L jerrycan in the booth so I was able to buy but at #1200/L, as opposed to the normal #870 - #900 price it's been sold here.

I asked the fuel station manager the reason, and he said their union has issues with Dangote so their strike action is to force Dangote to capitulate to their demands to join their union, and sell fuel at their dictated price.

At this point I am tired. Why unions go dey flex muscles at the expense of Nigerians? Why?
Actually, it is Dangote that you should be blaming

How can he decide for his workers not to join the Union? Is that one not dictatorship?

I know these Unions are something else, but Dangote cannot say his workers will not be part of NUPENG. That already, is against labour laws.

Did you guys read the news of the Ukrainian lady killed in a bus in the US state of North Carolina? I re-watched the video almost seven times.
The girl was on her phone peacefully, only for the guy to come from the back, and stab her, unprovoked. Like, she didn't talk to him or anything oh.

Sometimes, when I read things happening in that country, I can't help but wonder what's really going on there. The killer has previously been arrested 14 times for violent crimes, and they keep releasing him.

It seems their judicial system is useless too, although not as useless as the Nigerian justice system.
