BlueRayDick: People like him are only following the template they met in the public sector. They just want to do business like their Predecessors.
Like GloriousGbola pointed out earlier this morning, the current enugu governor is and Oil and gas magnate. The man owns pinnacle oil and has enough experience contracts and procurement. The man is not a typical naija politician or public sector guy ; he will deal with Sujimoto like they deal.with thieves.
The guy will most likely look for money to reimburse the government or strike a plea bargain that will favor the state else he will do jail. Isn't it funny that a man who sells apartment for $1m, is running because of 5 billion naira? I no expect this kind money to hard am to pay, unless na lamba guy |

Akinlot: How can a contractor at that level be complaining about cement price when they mobilised you with 50% of funds?
This is why I don't listen to successful Nigerian entrepreneurs. I don't read their books and watch their videos.
When I was a contract staff, the company responsible for our salaries had issues with the parent company and their contract was terminated.
When a new company was brought and they sent offer letters, I noticed my pension had reduced by N9,000.
I called the attention of two other colleagues to it and we engaged them. Initially, they claimed the offer sent to us was based on what the parent company gave them. When we threatened to escalate to the parent company, they quietly sent three of us revised letters and added what they deducted from the pension to our salary.
Imagine one person stealing N9,000 from more than 500 staff across the country every month.
Tomorrow, the MD of the company will write a book, telling us cock and bull stories of how he made it Many Nigerian success stories have no middle...Just beginning and ending. |

Akinlot: Thank you.
If I understand, they are saying Jaiz cannot honour the bond because the money went through Zenith signalling his intent to defraud from the start.
Why did they pay to Zenith in the first place when the bond was from Jaiz?
And if Jaiz can still honour the bond, shouldn't they be suing Jaiz bank? The fact that the 5 billion given to him first has not produced anything is probably why the Government has not remembered the shady bond issue. They gave you 5 billion, and you haven't even done anything... Na that one fit vex the government sef And 500 million for only the building of the school looks fair. You're not furnishing it. Just the building, and you cannot even deliver 1, out of 22. |

i am sure thee is another part of the story where he gave big kickbacks to govt officials attached to the project and they had a falling out or oga at the top became interested in the project progress
as it is, the guy don enter am. i doubt he has political connections to play yahaya bello game here
best he can do is cry on SM Person wey don meet President, Governors and even senators. You were given 5bn. At least, deliver what 5 billion was worth first. When he was talking about how cement went from 7k to 10k, that was when I knew something was fishy. A contractor with experience cannot be blindsided with inflation. He should have waited for Enugu state to give their side, before crying. Now he wasted his Nollywood skills for nothing. |

Roland17: I agree with you. The Milan situation was his 2nd transfer that collapsed in the space of 8 months, if I am not mistaken. I am not sure the reasons for both are related but clubs take note of these things.
Edafe said Nigerian professional players waste a lot of money on the wrong things. He also said, many Nigerian players, especially the ones that are tier 1 need to engage reputable PR management to help manage their images and I believe Boniface desperately needs one. It feels like he is just freestyling his professional career.
The WC is less than a year from now. This move to Bremen is his chance to make a case. If he doesn't perform at Bremen, I don't think he should go to the WC and it will only go downhill from there. No disrespect to our players, but many of them are average at best. The most they become are One season wonders. They work hard to make it to the spotlight, and from there, they start sliding backwards. Truly, they need PR, but to be honest, the PR sef go suffer to promote anything out of them. See Iheanacho. From a good prospect in Man City, to having his contract terminated. Na wa! I really hope he doesn't start microwaving the bench at Bremen |

raumdeuter: I don't know which rookie or amateur prepared this graphic and no one bothered to check twice. Even if you dont know the geography of Nigeria that Lokoja and Okenne are not NW or Lagos to Calabar has 70% of the road in SS, at least you can check for duplication like Damaturu to Maiduguri
Looks like what someone in a business center trying to learn graphic design just put up an splash color and chart somewhere So it is either the duplicates are an error, or maybe it is just intentional because they probably haven't done much, and just needed to justify the money they are calling. The only unfinished access road on the 2nd Niger bridge is the one to Asaba. How come it is reflecting on the SE? This is too glaring not to be noticed. |
