She was more a big aunty to them if we're being real... she's senior to Jude with 2 years.

They knew Lola as a big Aunty that was helping their craft, at some point Peter begin chop her work and the brothers probably knew, but taking it to the point of wanting to marry her would have been another thing altogether, regardless of how long they'd known her.
The common issues stemming from higher age differences for women is usually about fertility and respect.

So far, Lola has never had any drama. Lola sef born for am....

You can sell me the World Trade Centre for 2,000 naira if I believe the fight was just about age. Nigerian families have more issues with tribe than age...

Well, only Lola fit tell us the truth. Fortunately, she has shown a lot of maturity over the years.

Tribe is a very common issue in Nigerian marriages.

Even amongst Igbos, some families in some states dey gatekeep; You will see an Anambra family rejecting Imo.

Paul Okoye first wife na Ijaw.

Whatever other issues the family might have had with LoIa, I'm sure that 9 year age difference was number one redflag.
But Lola was not new to the family. They knew her. She, at some point, has been of assistance to them

How can the 9 year gap be the issue, to the point of hostility?

Na only Lola fit talk wetin her eye see sha

I love the drama that is brewing in American Basketball.

Since the WNBA is allowing transgender players to compete with real women, former NBA players have declared their interest to play in the WNBA

Royce White has threatened to take legal action if he is not allowed to play in Women's basketball

Since the WNBA cannot define who is a woman, the men wan help dem learn definitions by force

Utter Shamelessness! They just don't know when to stop; they don't know what line should not be crossed.

Just imagine if it was the Sultan of Sokoto or the National Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs letter head they forged like this; I'm sure heads would've started rolling in the northern parts of Nigeria. People who knew absolutely nothing about the forgery would've lost their lives to mob action by some Jihadist claiming their religion was trampled upon.

izzou is definitely right on this one! The fact that you will see another set of Christian "leaders " come out to defend the administration makes it easy for the government not be interested in being accountable at all.
Orji Uzor Kalu actually agreed with the Bishops
Shehu Sani (A Muslim), stated that the Bishops said the truth.

All the people who are calling them "Partisan", have not countered one point that was raised.

How can All be fair in politics?
How can All be fair in Business?

So if people lose lives, boxes are snatched and results are changed, it is fair?

Elrufai released a video saying the Muslim ticket is the gateway for Islam to dominate, and that he hopes that in 20 years, no Christian will smell that seat. No Daddy GO has condemned that. Tinubu and his Pastoral wife no condemn am. The video still stands till today.

Tinubu knows those he can insult.

The moment you tell Tinubu and his co-travellers the truth about situation of things under his administration, you suddenly get labeled PARTISAN.

If you don't echo the "Tinubu is trying his best" line of Pastor Adeboye, then you are definitely speaking with a bias. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Tinubu knows the particular religion he can use to mop his shiiiit...It has to be Nigerian Christians only... Southern ones to be precise.

Like Amaechi said yesterday, the Sultan of Sokoto will say the exact same thing, and Bayo Onanuga and Bwala can never label him "Partisan"

The Bishops talked about the state of the Nation
They talked about Nigeria descending into a One party state, saying it's bad for democracy (Everybody knows this, but it's partisan if you say it)
They disagreed with Tinubu on saying "All is fair in politics" (How can every strategy be fair in politics?)

What exactly did they say that is partisan?

But they know that our Pentecostal Starboy will soon drop an Ngolo Kante defensive master line to mop up the stain from the Bishops.

Tinubu knows what he's doing, and I don't blame him. Na the Christians gan gan be the problem
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:17am On Aug 05
Partisan Bishops partisaning in 1996!

To be honest, I don't blame Tinubu and his crew for dragging the Bishops. They already know that their Pentecostal GOs would either keep quiet, or defend them

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:44am On Aug 05
Rotimi Amaechi's interview on the Cardinal's visit captures my own thoughts completely.

The main issue is that they disrespect Christians very well. This disrespect comes both from the hypocrisy of Christian leaders and those in power.

If the Sultan of Sokoto had said the exact same thing, would anyone have the guts to call him partisan? This thing is a product of See-Finish.

I mean, Someone used a Muslim ticket to win. Why won't any Christian who calls him out be partisan?

All they did was ask the public to video and record any vehicle passing One way. If you send in any video, they will give you 20k

Then they will find the vehicle and impound it

Magic word is “Force”. You can’t force people to transact with you otherwise it is completed in duress.

There was a breach of trust in the process of completing the transaction, which renders it null if either pulls out.

The sale isn’t final and can’t be considered final in this instance because goods did not get exchanged. The guys are declining to proceed and that is their right, irrespective of suspicion.

There has been no exchange of good, he still has his car and money from the boys. He needs to refund the guys their money. Seller is trying to eat his cake and have it and being arrogant about it.

The guys did not disappear after the transfer did not show up, they went to eat and made the seller aware of where they are. This case is simple.
Okay oh.

I really hope that if you decide to sell cars in Nigeria, you don't approach the business with trust and this level of straightforwardness

Person go use "Ransom from Kidnapped victims" buy car for your hand, and na you Police go carry.

It's alright. I understand you

I think since the case has already gotten to police station, the dealer is kinda safe sha even if yawa gas few months later.

All he needs to do is pay for police report on the incident and keep the police report.

If there's any issue later arising from source of the fund they transferred to him, he can always use the police report as evidence that indeed a transaction was to be consummated but later cancelled with the knowledge of policemen who mediated in the dispute.
My thoughts too..

You might be surprised that all these drama could be part of the plan (Assuming those guys are evil)

The story na Faabu normally!

Oyo kidnap incident was not even carried out by normal bandits/kidnappers but Ansaru Terrorists i.e. hardcore Jihadist, not the regular petty kidnappers. So they want us to believe those Fundamentalists family were traced and they quickly released their hostages because their families were traced and arrested?

If that's the case, maybe they should start tracing all the families of Boko Haram, ISWAP, Ansaru and Lakurawa terrorists so they can start giving up their hostages in the bush na grin
The more we look, the less we see

We have pending cases of kidnappings on ground. Na Oyo own judge conclude in weeks.

Car dealer is at fault.

Even in the worst case the transfer was fake, he still had possession of the car and the sale had not been completed. A sale is only complete when the item has been exchanged for money. I mean this isn’t an online sale.

He raised a false alarm, publicly assaulted the boys, restricted their freedom of movement, got them arrested with their possessions… and still wants to force them to buy the car after it was confirmed the alert was legit?

He needs to refund the guys their money using the same account and the boys should sue him for the harassment, public assault, unlawful detainment and the embarrassment.

The sale can’t be called final in this instance because there was a breach in between the completion of the transaction.
He is not forcing them to buy the car because he wants to sell it. He is forcing them to buy, because he wants the transaction completed; He wants to have proof of exchange between him and the guys

You really don't know how bad these cases.

3 months from now, NPF would be arresting you for a transaction you know nothing about.

With all the kidnap going on in the NE and NW, why haven't the FG apprehended the families of the Kidnappers, so they can catch the suspects?

How come it is this Oyo case that we are hearing about this Master strategy?

Bello Turji no get family? Abi is his case similar to that of the Master strategist; People without a history?

So our Defense structure can use families to catch kidnappers, but for years, we have had back to back tragic cases.

God is Wonderful!

The car dealer have a permanent site that's why the guys transfer money and hoping to come back.
Fake alert or not the car dealer will confirm funds before releasing his car, I don't understand why he had to embarrass them when there's no reason to
My brother.

I know a POS lady in the market that is currently on the run. Someone used her account to receive funds (600k), transferred it out and paid the charges.

EFCC has asked her bank to place a lien on her account, and they are currently looking for her.

If you think these evil people are straightforward to deal with, you might enter into trouble.

Like I said, I want to believe that both the seller, the mob and the Police were convinced enough that the transfer was a fake one.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 1:14pm On Jul 23
BlueRayDick:
The car dealer should return their money, but he should only transfer the fund to the same account from which the boys sent the money. That way, he can ensure they didn't use his account to wash/launder dirty funds.

That being said, the car dealer cannot compel them to buy considering the embarrassment/assault they have suffered from the car dealer and the mob. If the car dealer refuses to refund, the boys should go and carry soldier from barracks and use to recover their funds by force.
This whole scenario looks fishy

Nobody goes to buy a car from someone for the first time, transfers money, and walks away to eat.

I don't think the Police and the mob were stupid enough not to know a genuine transaction. It must have been clear that these guys ran a fake transfer before they were bundled to the station.

I agree that the same account must be refunded, but there must be a written agreement that it was strictly a business transaction, of which the funds was reimbursed.
