TemporaryHansel: When he says money used to flow he is very correct. It was flowing very very well, it was felt in every corner. Even people in opposition benefited, only complain they can give is that they didn't benefit as much as those actually in PDP. Anybody that says money didn't flow to his or her side during PDP time omo it means that person was really at the bottom of all bottom of the cadre oh.
Now this APC regime, money is flowing but only to people at the top. Even chieftains of the party are struggling lowkey, not to talk of regular members. There's as much money as the PDP days, just that it's not as evenly distributed as before. These days you have to be a senior party official or elected official to really enjoy. Meanwhile back in the days of PDP even ordinary ward chairmen were enjoying, today APC ward chairmen are hungry lol. APC ward chairmen are hungry? Where are you pulling this data from? |

Roland17: Our Nigerian politicians are rare breeds I swear.
What exactly was Amaechi expecting? What is with the wailing and grinding of teeth?
He seriously thought he'd beat Atiku in the primaries?
Even in a free and fair popularity contest, does Amaechi think he will beat Atiku in the North to clinch the ticket? Then it should be free and fair! I don't believe Amaechi can defeat Atiku, but why can't it be free and fair? Why are we still seeing 1,5,60,65 as counts in a free and fair election? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:17pm On May 26 |
Beorn: Exactly!! They just don't want the man to contest, and that's it. See how the ADC primaries is marred by funny figures. The same thing they accused APC for, is the same thing they are doing. This is the same primaries they are gaslighting another person for not contesting |

GloriousGbola: I did not say anyone should step down for anyone else.
I said no one in the running is willing to step down.
A lot of negotiation and horse trading must have gone down in 2014 when cpc and acn merged. And bat anticipated and planned for atiku and his dollar primary.
No one in this is prepared to do the hard work. Then again seeing as Buhari did his best to stab tinubu in the back and how team atiku stabbed Wike in the back, it is much harder for anyone to agree to step down or step aside because there are no guarantees
Buhari started backstabbing immediately he entered that office. If truly the coalition wanted to work, they should have backed a Southerner. All these "Northerners won't vote a Southerner" is a fat lie. Tinubu is clearing the North, and Buhari's supporters did not enter the grave with him. Even Tinubu in this current ADC will not sit down and watch a Northerner take the only 4 year slot left, only to wait another 8 years |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:56pm On May 26 |
Beorn: The truth is that opposition parties haven't gotten their acts together and it's a darn shame. By now, they'd have dropped their egos or greed and unite under a singular consensus southern candidate but one of the reason such will never happen is because of Atiku's generational greed and insane quest for power.
At this point, I'd rather Tinubu continues his disastrous reign than for Atiku to smell that seat because he's greedy and selfish.
This is a man that has been pursuing power and participating in presidential primaries when most of these current politicians were just staring off.
A man whose greed and bad timing has destroyed his chances of being the president of this country.
A man who wanted to dispose his boss just to be the president.
A man who lacks patience or the political sagacity to get his dream true.
A man who destroyed PDP during Jonathan era when he formed the nPDP and joined APC to ruin his party simply because he thought he'd clinch APC presidential candidate ticket. When that failed, what did he do? He ran back to PDP he used and dumped and bribe his way to win the presidential candidate ticket despite his betrayal.
A man that Obi deputized for when it was North's turn to rule but when it was South's turn, the same greedy f*o*o*l refused to allow South enjoy their time, instead destroying PDP with this power tussle with Wike.
Now he's formed ADC with the greedy and cunning motive of getting Obi to join him after he had perfected a way to clinch the party presidential ticket since, so Obi will have no choice but to deputize for him again so he can run on Obi's new found fame and political goodwill, to win the election because Obi and the rest of the politicians were raised to help him fulfill his greedy ambition.
If at his age, Atiku does not know that nothing short of a united opposition will unseat Bola, where he'd step back and back a southern candidate, he is a disappointment. He cannot learn from the last election, that means he is unteachable by anyone, including the universe. He has won the ticket. I can't wait to see him clear the North, like we were told here. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:55pm On May 26 |
GloriousGbola: What you are missing in the equation is simple - this is first and foremost about chasing power and no one in the running is willing to cede to anyone else. If the opposition unites, and Atiku loses to Tinubu, what fighting chance does Obi have again? By 2031, APC will present a Northerner of which Atiku still qualifies to contest; Obi cannot. But it is Obi that should step down for Atiku in 2027 |

BlueRayDick: It just seem Nigerian governors are fantastically wicked with the way they come up with these white elephant projects to siphon money from their respective states especially once they are in their second term.
There's no justification for that Bayelsa airport at all.
I know we have people who believe we have infrastructure deficit as a country o, but I don't think absence of airport should be counted as infrastructure deficit. That's a very good way to wipe out money easily. See the one wey Umahi build for Abakaliki. Billions of naira in his Aza, with no questions Fayemi too. I remember when Oasis was telling us how the Agro port will boost agriculture trade amongst states. So, it is Ugu leaf that is 3 for #500 naira, that someone will go and waybill by air. Aviation fuel don cheap like that? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 3:32pm On May 26 |
BlueRayDick: I never knew Bayelsa had an airport(International Airport at that ) until today.
An international airport that has just two airlines flying that route; Ibom Air (Abuja - Bayelsa) and United Nigeria Airlines( Abuja- Bayelsa, Lagos-Bayelsa).
What's this craze with every state building airport at all cost? Can't they use these monies to develop other sectors of their local economy?
As small as Bayelsa state is, if they put the money used to construct the airport in 2019 to develop other sectors of the state economy, I believe the people will be better off for it instead of Airport that people hardly use due to close proximity with Rivers state. Now dem don float airline again.
https://www.nairaland.com/8678990/bayelsa-airline-makes-maiden-flight To find a direct bus to Yenagoa is not even common. The fastest means is to enter a bus going to PH, and drop at Yenagoa junction. Na the same people get airport and airline. |

BlueRayDick: 😂
If Obi talk same thing now, dem go use one full month to tell us how Obi Wan scatter opposition by being too egocentric thinking he's too big to be Atiku's VP Exactly Na why Uncle Jimi believe say there's something else apart from what they want us to believe The other day on Arise, they asked Bwala about the situation on the APC primaries. He answered, and then began to mention how Obi was unserious to be a president. The same ADC that cursed him for leaving, cannot even conduct a primary (transparent or not). Na Obi still be the problem |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 1:55pm On May 26 |
BlueRayDick: That's why I say u must really have time to try reasoning with someone like Elder who is clearly disillusioned and obsessed with Obi.
He somehow thinks Obi is a threat to Atiku's life long ambition of becoming the president of this country. The only thing that will pacify him is for Obi to accept to be Atiku's vice and somehow use "juju" to command his supporters to cast their vote for Atiku who has been rejected by the electorate since 1992/93 general elections.
He never has problem with other southern candidates who have chosen to distance themselves from Atiku the unsellable product. I watched an interview yesterday where they asked Amaechi if he would be vice to Atiku. He said the interviewer should never ask that kind of insulting question again |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 1:47pm On May 26 |
larride: 1. If I remembered correctly, I once posted here that Tinubu and Cardoso are intentionally keeping the exchange rate at that 1300 - 1400 range to enable them actually fund the budget. Personally I feel a stronger naira means cheaper dollars and that's why they celebrate it.
2. It's in terms of Naira equivalent, the dollar equivalent is most likely the same or even lesser. It's also why I don't parrot that nonsense anymore because when you factor in the increase in price of most goods and services due to the exchange rate, you will see it cancel out wherever increase in FAAC allocation that they get. Thank you |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 1:45pm On May 26 |
BlueRayDick: U get time to dey try reason with person wey get obsession with Obi sha.
If he sleep dey see masquarade for dream sef, na Obi surely dey under the masqurade. I was listening to Jimi Disu some weeks back when Obi went to NDC. Jimi said that even though he doesn't know whether Obi will fix Nigeria or not, he is now convinced that Nigerian politicians don't want him to contest. They keep dragging him, even though other contestants are there They roasted him for dodging primaries in ADC even when it was untrue. Now, the same ADC cannot even organize its own primaries. Two factions with two different results, and Obi isn't even there. The same APC insulting him about primaries have conducted their own; Inflated and false figures everywhere. So the purpose of the primary was never about transparency. The man has left all of them, yet they won't let him rest. Na here I see say Donald Duke and Makinde go pull votes. Nobody dey drag them for contesting. Nobody is dragging Amaechi and Jonathan. It's only one person that is the problem. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:52pm On May 26 |
TemporaryHansel: Sowore has more credibility than Peter Obi sha.
If Tinubu wins the 2027 presidential election, no obidient should ever complain about APC again, and Peter Obi should forget about that presidency because he'll never smell it.
You know this man can't be unseated without everybody coming together and yet you keep scattering everything by going on your own. If he thinks he's too big to be VP to Atiku why not contest against him and win him in a primary? You can't win the guy but you want him to win and handover to you. Peter Obi is a traitor working for Tinubu. Ahn Ahn Obi again? ADC has moved on without him, and even at that, the party has 2 presidential candidates already Dumebi Kachikwu Atiku/Amaechi You are not even bothered about that. It is someone who has nothing anymore with your party crises you're blaming |
