Insecurity is a serious challenge now and has grown worse over the last 15yrs all over the subregion

Govt is collaborating with internal and external resources to fight it and hope to bring it down. There is a lot of work to be done in that area
So has Tinubu reduced it since 2023, or has it become worse?

"you are stuck on the grievance politics of what was posted a dozen years ago when some of the kidnap victims haven't been born"..... Is it not a shame that kids who weren't born when Tinubu the failure was running his mouth in the opposition are now kidnap victims under his administration with him not having immediate solution to the problem? 🤮

Does Tinubu, APC government and their supporters not know the meaning of shame? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Wait till Tinubu captures the criminals.

grin grin grin grin cheesy

Since 2023 that they have been capturing, which one was prosecuted?

I was driving from the Island to Mainland on Thursday, and I gave a Soldier a lift at Bonny Camp. We discussed Nigeria for a while, and he told me I cannot imagine how many women these guys have made widows.

He thinks this whole thing is a game that needs to be won at all cost, or perhaps a political debate instead of a genuine call for accountability.

You are right tho, when matters like this don't hit close to home it is always easy to start coming up with excuse upon excuse to defend government and the failure of its agencies
I don't argue situations like these.

Maybe if one's loved one is kidnapped for 2 weeks, they can sit around the dining table and discuss how the IGP came the next day, and how difficult it is to extract the hostages.

14 days after, the Nigerian Government doesn't know the location of the kidnappers who obviously are still in Nigeria.

Excuse, excuse and more excuse!

Ask Tinubu what he thought Jonathan should've done differently when he called for Jonathan's resignation over the Chibok girls kidnap saga. Bear in mind that the Chibok girls were not even beheaded at that point.

While u are busy giving the American fighter jet that was shut down in Iran, don't forget it ended with the Americans deploying all available resources to bring their man home within a few days. This happened behind enemy lines in an active war

Let's also not forget the Americans once rescued their kidnapped citizen right within our borders.

We are asking for this government to bring the kidnapped home and not tons of excuses or gifting bags of rice to their families.

re: That Omo Agege situation I told you about

I remember like a month or so after the elections, APC suspended Omo Agege for Anti party activities.
Sorry, who is this person tweeting? A random account? Because I can also post a different story here supporting Agege.

His loss in 2027 is not about any punishment. His Godson (Ede Dafinone) refused to step down from the seat he gave him in 2023. Ede and Sheriff are from Okpe in Urhobo. So Sheriff supported his brother.

I don't know where all these Ibori daughter story dey come from. Ibori daughter dey contest for Senate? The tweet was just saying a lot of things.

Agege just wanted to go back and they refused him.

Shebi Agege and Ede go contest for the same seat in 2027?

Let us see who wins, and how wide the margin would be by then.

Yeah.... Very possible he had his hands on other things aside music.

Ice Prince has been off the spotlight for a long while. A very long while. It's hard to match those spendings with current reality

But it's possible he had other means and sources

Read again! A show will pay around ₦1.5m and he can grace at least two or three in a week.

Way back when I dey go work I dey always see clubs and hotels who host ladies night on Wednesdays and another show on Thursday when I'm going to work in the early hours of thurday and Friday.

You will see people coming out of those places around 5.30am to 6.30am.... And dem go still do weekend shows.
You are trying to swell this guy's worth oh grin

Two or three shows in which week?. Is Ice Prince the only artiste in Nigeria?

Maybe na when GEJ dey on board you dey talk about. Which hotel go dey float shows on Weekdays, and still bring in Ice Prince to perform?

I like Zamani, but I don't think that with the rise of other artistes in the past 6 years, I will pay premium to go and watch him sing Oleku, or Aboki.

Another thing could be that he had other means of making money...That one still dey

These people rent houses like me and u na, it's just the location & cost of rent that differs. Me I fit rent 2 bedroom @4.5m per annum at Ajao estate make B-list artiste rent N20m per annum house for one of those estates after abraham Adesanya, Ajah

All those hotels they lodge na show promoters dey cover those ones as part of cost of bringing them to shows. And the drinks they usually drink are sometimes on the house ; u no go carry artiste come show make u no fit do Martel and casamigos for the artiste's table for him and his entourage.

I get friend that once invested in all these record label business, so I know a little about those things.

I'm not saying they won't be spending on feeding and giving handouts to brothers and sisters (if they have any), but u should understand this smoking na addiction which may be taking majority of their earnings.

For somehow that is assured of at least 2 to 3 shows in a midsized hotel in Lagos that pays him nothing less than 1.5m per show, he can always spend 155k on smoke. Na u dey reason say person wey be igbo addict go dey too get plenty savings 😂
If Ice Prince does 1.5 million naira show every week (which isn't possible), he would earn 78 million in a year.

78 million naira.

Then e wan tell me say e use 60 million smoke Igbohuh

Well, no wahala

Well, na him get him pocket and na him know wetin dey inside.

My own point is If guys wey dey see Yahoo money, random guys from old money and people wey dey do business fit dey buy weed of 80k dey smoke at one sitting with friends, I wouldn't really doubt a celebrity who sees regular money who claims he spends more than that daily on weed.

There's one misconception I see people have about some of these artistes people have; I mean artistes whom we tag as artistes who "fell off". Most people think they are no longer getting money because they don't have banger hits blaring on the airwaves. I know you are somene who drives around Lagos, you will agree with me that if you drive around areas like Igando, Ikotun, Ejigbo, Ikorodu, Apapa, Ojo, Surulere, etc ; you will see clubs, hotels and lounges listing these C-List,D-list artistes as headliners for a show they have from time to time. Most of these guys still charge over a million naira to show up at these shows.

Someone like Portable despite how rough he is , he won't even leave his house in Ogun state to perform in a "big hotel" in Ipaja. Let's not now talk about someone like Iceprince wey dey fly all around middlebelt, Abuja and Lagos to still show up at shows where he still gets paid millions for pulling crowds for those nightlife business owners in those axis.
My opinion is based on assumed earnings, and not necessarily if it's possible to consume it.

Anything is possible. I'm just saying how much would he be earning to spend that on just weed.

He would still buy booze and go clubbing
Feeding was there
Housing was there
New toys was there
Family was there

If you say you spent 60m yearly to smoke only Loud, how much did you then spend on the others?

If it's about consuming 155k worth of drugs in a day, I no dispute am. But his earnings no match wetin him dey talk
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:30am On May 29
BlueRayDick:
They don't smoke alone now. These musicians are always with guys around them and girls who smoke too.

I've been in gathering of guys that smoke and I see the tiny portion of "loud" they buy and smoke finish at one sitting cost as much as 80k

Do you know some of them don't wrap the weed in the normal paper wrap tbey call rizzler? Some of them wrap it in "backwoods" which is also an expense on its own.

The figures may look exaggerated because one may not want to believe he can smoke at that rate for 6 years on a stretch, but I Don see people wey be say if dem no smoke dem no fit chop so they smoke before each meal.
I think it's exaggerated sha.

Spending an average of 155k a day sounds too much. How much was he really earning?

You're looking at the weed part. What about food everyday? Other miscellaneous expenses nko? It means Zamani might be burning 300k and above per day.

Ahhhhh...That obviously is an exaggeration

Baba Omo Agege did Anti party in 2023 confirmed. He supported Atiku codedly even though he was APC Gubernatorial candidate. He used to control most of APC structure in Delta till he casted in 2023 that he did Anti party. The President bidded his time, woo Sheriff and his godfather to the party and yank the state structure off Agege.

None of his loyalist won a single primary seat, na total annihilation.
Agege's mouth is only in Delta Central. I don't know which of his loyalist you're talking about

Agege contested with Sheriff in 2023 for governorship. He had to abandon his Senatorial seat, and gave it to Ede Dafinone. Ede won, and he lost

Sheriff decamped to APC now, so Agege cannot contest again. He now wants Ede to give him back the slot, so he can go to the Senate, and that's where the problem started.

Agege is not a small person that Tinubu can just discard. He has more clout and influence than Ede. The Governor ensure Ede won, and that's his anger.

Ede cannot beat Agege in any free and fair election in Delta
