chrisooblog: Democracy is not a tea party. Sometimes it takes heavy grinding and constant chipping away.
Besides countries are not built by saints so if you're waiting for one squeaky clean man to drop from heaven you'll wait forever. I am waiting for a man with a clear cut plan to fix this country bit by bit. Mere listening to them shows that they are just telling you what you want to hear. Tell us the plan... Nigeria's power generation is at XXXXXMW. How do you intend to increase it? If it require funds, how do you get those funds? Have you seen any presidential candidate answer something like this? |

chrisooblog: Honestly I pray you change your mind and decide to vote if not for anything but to deepen the democratic process. Even if it's to protest against the failures of the current government your vote is the best way for your voice to be heard loud and clear. Protest votes, Protest votes, and that was how we ended up with Buhari Maybe we should start looking at what they really have to offer. I have, and all of them are just deceitful. No man of integrity amongst them. My opinion |

Hopefully jungle will mature on his case. I do not care what anybody thinks or what any records show. I will not vote in 2023, because I am not convinced any of them can make this country better. What are the signs and action that points him working for APC? |

Obi delegating that question to Prof should never be justified.
What is the big deal in answering that question? Even EmmanuelScott1 has answered it here, but the question pass our incoming president.

BlueRayDick: I believe the original idea is to have rail lines joining the south and the north, that way heavy duty trucks populating the highways will be replaced with Cargo trains which will ferry goods from one far end of the country to the order. For example having cows transported from the core north to the southern parts of the country. All things being equal, it should make our roads more safer and the cost of maintaining roads too will reduce. Maiduguri is in the North East. This is a region that has insecurity issues. So this rail is probably going to pass through regions of the NE. So what is the traffic like, even in terms of Cargo? If it was the NW, like Kano, i can see the economic benefits. But Maiduguri? Damaturu? Abeggg |

chrisooblog: Chief you for mention me direct no be beefing issue
Jokes apart I'm happy you put up Fashola's quote which corroborates what I've insisted all along that the bridge itself is completed but the access roads still need to be finished.
Where me and izzou differ is that he insists because some of the access roads are not ready then the bridge itself hasn't been completed. At least cars are now passing the 'uncompleted' bridge which is enough for me. Your comments make me laugh, to be honest. How do you say a bridge is complete, when the access road is not there? So 3rd Mainland bridge is complete even when Iyana-Oworo is not there? Eko bridge is complete, but the part at Apongbon is not there? You really love to argue bro. I think you do. Even the Minister has said it will be closed back again for completion, but you want to prove that it is complete. Na wa |

Itsrm: I thought of it as well but I think people paying or not will depend on the amount being tolled. If its 500 or less, people will pay. Apart from the hold up on the headbridge, there used to be serious hold up around that Electronics market. You don't want to be caught in it. I don't know if that has changed sha.
There's also those who have contraband they are carrying and want to avoid the military guys at the old bridge.
Transport companies can also transfer the cost to their passengers so its none of their business. The serious traffic at that Electronics market has changed. Since Willie expanded that road, it has been different Also, the Old bridge experiences heavy traffic during festive periods; much expected because people from other parts of Nigeria are coming home. What of periods that the traffic is less? Would anyone leave a free way to go and pay 500 bucks on the 2nd one? I doubt that. Also, the sit-at-home on Mondays automatically translates to next-to-nothing revenue for that bridge. That is also a problem People from the West, going to PH hardly pass Onitsha anymore. They prefer to find their way from Delta, to the East/West road. And unfortunately, this category are those who are expected to use the 2nd Niger bridge too Lastly, trailer drivers would rather use the old one than pay 1,500 for the new one (afterall, the company has provided diesel for the whole journey). I just think the old one is a bad market for the new one. I mean, the divertion to the new one is on the road to the old one. So if i see that the road is free, i can decide to stick with the old one, rather than the new one |

I just dey wonder wetin Amaechi go tell him people say dem gain from his time as the Transport minister He was just unfortunate that there was not enough loans to carry out the project. This is the same way they were trying to smear Sanusi when he fell out with GEJ. At least Sanusi is a Northen Muslim so you can try to claim he is sympathetic to bh.

Olowunl01: Would you kindly elaborate on these traits or criteria? Out of the 4 Top contenders am guessing you consider Tinubu to possess more of these traits?
I would also want to know if based on these criterias you consider Buhari a good leader? Becos I can still recall pic with satchet of milk, and I dont any politician nears Buhari in forming common man.
I still maintain all 4 are more than qualified (Naija standards) to become Naija president, and I believe each imho would represent a step up from Buhari
Also when you say Tinubu is not loved across Nigeria, are you indirectly saying he is not going to win fair n square? I would rather believe each candidate is loved within their own demographics; as it is without rigging and inducement; 2023 will be a close contest. How exactly would any be a step up from Buhari? The Nigeria of today is worse than it was in 2015 Security is worse 133 million are in poverty; the highest number we have had since 1914 We have fallen from 46 to 26 in the most corrupt country index So what exactly have they said, that makes them a step up?
