Nostradamus1:
Pls i am kind of confused on something.
Why do some Army checkpoints and some police checkpoints have civilians working with them.
For instance, today at the Benin-Onitsha road, there was a military checkpoint manned by a soldier and a civilian(from his bushy hair to his beards, he was clearly not in the military). The civilian directed the traffic and the military guy was the enforcer.
Again, at that Oba junction ( the bridge abi roundabout built by Obiano:if you are going to Owerri,Oraifite from Onitsha, you will meet it), over 20 policeman were on duty "yet" a civilian was helping in directing traffic.

I always thought the civilians collected money on behalf of the officers( I have actually seen this) to avoid the officers being fvcked by unannounced supervision but today's experience threw that theory out of the window.

Is there anyone who knows why
They are too big to check vehicles again. So it is almost an avenue for job creation

Once you use the Benin Bye pass heading to Agbor, those military checkpoints have civilians searching your vehicles

From Badagry roundabout down to Agbara, all the Customs checkpoints have haggard looking boys with golf clubs stopping vehicles too.

There is a street name they call them. I can't remember it now

Though, I do not expect violence on this Board till perhaps 2nd day of January, but so funny we can't even respect this period of the year.

I won't respond to any troll, insult, cuss throughout rest of this month, but would be back loaded in January by God's willing.

To you, you can use slap to wake your papa and he will be fine.
Others shake their fathers to greet, no problem.
Some, you can insult their God and they will pray for you, for others, you might not live to tell the story.
Some can mimick their father or someone old enough to be their father and he will clap for you but...........

Omoluabis don't tolerate that. They consider it offensive and signs of poor upbringing.
Especially when you are in that your father house or within the environment he provided for you.
It's a case of biting the hands that feed you.

Didn't Wike a state governor just employ 200k people overnight and he will pay them

State governors recruit into civil service regularly numbers in the thousands

You now wonder how FG will afford? How much will soldiers in lower tiers get as salary a month?

Say 100k for 50k military men that's 5bn a month. In a year 60bn in salary. That might be the best 100bn spent and will determine the future of this country and might save thousands of lives

50k security forces is an additional 1200 per state.
Are we using Wike's 200k polling unit mercenaries for comparison? Egbonn. grin grin grin

5bn a month is just for salaries. What about housing them? What about weapons, ammo, clothings and other welfare accessories? What about the resources to train them for a year or so?

What is even our security budget for next year sef?
